I had the spicy chicken sandwich because I heard the chicken was the best. I was warned that the chicken was spicy. For this New Mexican it barely had any flavor and I opted for the pasta salad vs fries...big mistake. Wish they had some other side items like sweet potato fries or chips. We had been wanting to go to a brewery in Spokane during our time there and finally got our chance when we went to the No-Li Brewhouse. With so many other breweries to choose from in the Spokane area I am glad we chose No-Li Brewhouse, we were not disappointed! It's a pretty big place, felt like a brewery should feel, but was also pretty busy. We chilled in their outdoor lounge area while we waited to be seated. But, the outdoor seating was pretty cool with views of the Spokane River, you can literally walk into the river, or fall into it if you are a little too buzzed. We ordered the Epic Pretzel, Turkey Avocado Bacon Wrap, Cajun Spicy Chicken Sandwich and two of their signature beers. The Squatch Fog, an IPA and Porch Glow, an amber ale. The food was pretty good, and their beers were excellent! It's no reason why they win so many beer competitions. It's well deserved! And their Epic Pretzel is aptly named. It was pretty delicious along with the queso dip! I could've just eaten pretzel all day to go with my beer, it was that good! For ordering a specific beer we were given a free pint glass from their merch line which they sell on site. We also bought some No-Li tee shirts to remember our stop at this amazing brewery. My Husband and I took 4 nine years to here for a quick bite before the zags game. Everything has changed since our last visit. Now you have to order every thing at the bar on your own and carry it to your table. Except the food that comes from the back. It was very stressful to order and keep kids in line. Only order nachos, two chicken sandwiches, 2-fried, 4-sprites and 3- beers for $124.00 seemed expensive. The sandwiches were terrible burnt, lots of breading and no flavor. I've been to No-Li a couple times before and they've forgotten to put our order in or forgot our drinks, but this time was the worst. We planned to meet here to celebrate a coworker who got a new job and were going to have a party of 15+. Her manager called ahead to see if we could get a reservation and was told they don't do them, but they do have the capacity for a group of that size, there just might be a wait. Well the day comes and we get there - I had my Toddler and they sat the group in the 21+ section, because they didn't know someone was going to bring a kid. No big deal, not your fault. So we ask them to move us to where she can sit and it was a shit show from there. They did not have a table that could accommodate a larger group of 15+ and even if they did, they wouldn't allow it. They have a rule that only 10 people can sit at a table (which they did not mention when we called) and boy do they enforce it. We had 9 people and my 2 year old sitting on my lap at the table and a couple more people from our group standing up next to the table to say hi and they waitress came over and scolded us. So I got up with my daughter and said I would move to the other table so they could stay and talk. I asked the waitress where I could go and was told it's going to be a 10min wait. ‍ so I told her that I was going to sit back down and wait at this current table. What gets me is this can't even be Covid related. Washington state is fully open now - so this is just their rule. On top of that the rest of the service was shit. It took forever for them to come take our order. They finally came by to take our drink order and I got the huckleberry seltzer. It was not good. It tasted like the dissolvable children's Tylenol. Never did get the chance to order food. Not that we would have - the menu was disappointing. Only one appetizer, one salad option, just eh. We ended up not getting food. Everyone closed out their drink order and we went down the street to Logan's. They had zero problem sitting us, service was great. Go there instead. It's a real bummer for no-li. Absolute worst experience with the manager of the brew house. We came here as a party of 16 split across two tables. This manager freaked out when my son went over to the other table to talk to his friends and DEMANDED that everyone sit at their tables. This is a brew house! Why is she freaking out because my son went over to the other table? His food hadn't even come out yet. After I tried to reason with her that my son will come back once the food is here she plainly insisted that this is not the right "fit" for us and told us we can leave. I mean who does that??? What restaurant manager tells a party of 16 hungry people that we can leave??? This is the absolute worst experience with a restaurant manager I have ever experienced. THE ABSOLUTE WORST! The waitress was AMAZING! We felt bad that she was put in a tough spot. Gave her a nice gratuity. I'm running a little late on posting a review for No-Li, which we visited last Wednesday. I usually do brewery reviews as I taste the beers but we were meeting my cousins for lunch so that was more important...deal with it! No-Li is my 182nd brewery and this is a good one. It's set up with several other businesses in an old industrial building and is right on the river. We sat inside and I ordered up a flight of course. I went with the Corner Coast, the pistachio IPA, Squatch Party IPA, Porch Glow, Born & Raised, and Wrecking Ball. No individual reviews this time but they were all quite good. I decided to revisit the pistachio IPA to go with my food. I can't say I could pick out pistachio in particular but I definitely enjoyed this beer. For chow I went with a shrimp po'boy and fries, while SWPFTD went with the pork belly sandwich. Both were very good! We will be back to No-Li for sure. The beers and food are great and the patio along the river is awesome. Recently on a business trip a coworker took me here for lunch. A little difficult to find but once you do and get into the back of where this brewpub opens up to the riverfront dining experience all I have to say is wow. Everything about my experience here was a five star. Once seated and I'm only mad at myself because I didn't get some better pictures of it but the view is awesome. This place has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating plus what's also cool that it is nestled in the back of other local boutique shops that you have to walk through. So if some shoppings on your mind this is it. The service on the day we were here was awesome! The food is also amazing. While simple bar food they fir sure take it up a level with taste and flavor. I had the chicken sandwich and as you tell by my pics this thing was huge but sometimes huge doesn't always mean flavor and this was the exception. I opted out of the fries for the salad which was also good but snuck a frie and wished I would've had these hand cut delicious morsels. My brother and I were up in Spokane and needed to grab some dinner, and both of us are fans of locally crafted beers so he found us a brewery to check out so off we went. No-Lo Brewhouse was the placed picked out and I was excited to try them out and knew I was 1st gonna order me a flight to try them out! Trying a flight is the best way of trying all their crafted beers. My flight had: Big Juicy, Wreaking Ball, Jet Juice, Corner Coast, Porch Glow and Cascade Fog. While all of the beers had great flavor and color, I have to say my favorite was the Wreaking Ball, its an imperial stout with coffee, chocolate and brown sugar notes. It was perfect, I should have picked up some to take home. After checking out the menu I went with the Hot Chicken Sandwich, it was a southern style hot fired chicken on top of lettuce and pickles paired with a creamy dill sauce on a toasted brioche bun with a side of fries. The chicken was fried perfectly, crispy and juicy, and the spice was good, although not that hot to me but I like things fiery hot. Awesome brewery in Spokane! We had to visit No-Li Brewhouse while in Spokane and it did not disappoint. It's clear why they're one of the most popular breweries in the area. No-Li Brewhouse is in a building that shares space with other businesses in an industrial-like setting. It's pretty cool. No-Li's space is very spacious, with a bier hall room, a dining space and bar and an outdoor patio. It was busy when we visited on a Saturday. I customized a flight, which came with six tasters. I chose all five IPAs and the last one being a blackberry hard seltzer. Similar to what I did, you can customize a flight or pick the flight that includes six of No-Li's most popular beers. They have a lot of beers on tap, with different IPAs having the most selection; I didn't hate it! All of the beers were solid, including the lighter IPAs, since I like my beers really hoppy. With that said, my favorite beer was the Imperial Jet IPA. It's definitely one to be had if you like strong IPAs. The hard seltzers they serve were also pretty good, and was surprised to see them on the menu since not many breweries serve their own hard seltzer on tap. I'm a fan of No-Li beers, so it was great to visit the place where the magic is made while in Spokane.
