Other places would give me the run around as far as their pricing, knowledge and scheduling go. At No Limit, there's none of that. The owner gets to the point and is very knowledgeable. Bring your car here before you shop around. You won't be disappointed. It's not a very big garage, but big enough to get the job done and done right. There's also places to visit around the area while you wait. They don't have a waiting room, but I just find myself walking over to River Park or Logan's Roadhouse to grab a bite to eat, Denny's, Costco for a slice of pie or hot dog. So I started this new job in Fresno where my hours are weird and I don't have a lot of free time/freedom to leave in the middle of the work day. My brakes had been acting up and for some reason, all of my wiper fluid decided to spill out of my car overnight. Seeing that my knowledge of cars is pretty limited, I knew I needed a mechanic. I called around a couple of places and No Limit Auto Services was willing to accommodate my busy schedule and on short notice. I was able to leave my car with the the next morning and slipped my key into the key box, and able to pick it up later that evening. I never actually met anyone in person at No Limit Auto Services, but Lenny (I think) called me throughout the day to update me on what was going on. I was able to charge my credit card over the phone and it was an easy transaction. They honored a Yelp discount for checking in and that actually saved me a decent amount of money. I thought the cost represented the amount of work my car received, which is always a worry of mine when I take it to a mechanic. Now my car is running smoothly since the brakes are fixed. As for the wiper fluid, it seems that the container had a crack and once No Limit Auto Services receives the replacement part, I will gladly return my car to them to have that fixed as well. Chris and the team at No Limit took great care of us. Our '06 LR3 needed a new torque converter installed. No surprises, and no up charging pressure. They only replaced what needed to be replaced including a few recommendations - most of which I agreed to (only left minor DIY items that I will take care of during my next scheduled maintenance). Unfortunately (for them) the truck threw a check engine light after re-assembly because of an O2 sensor that had over 180k original miles on it. They refused to let me pay for it. Some of the best customer service I have ever experienced at a repair shop. Chris constantly kept me updated on progress/parts deliveries. I was expecting delays because of the current market and supply chain issues but that definitely was not the case! If you have a Land Rover, Jaguar, or really amy other vehicle, No Limit can definitely take care of you! Definitely on the top of my recommendation lists. read more

Surprisingly this was the first place we tried and we always come back for any maintenance or issues. Lenny & his wife always help us last minute and will work late as needed and are very HONEST about what is needed to get done. I was in town from the East Bay for the weekend. My Volvo started making a high pitch noise from under the hood. I stopped to see if they could possibly help me out before I drove back home. Recently on one of my last trips to Fresno, my Mercedes ml320 would not let me shift out of park, With it being a Mercedes I knew the repairs would not be cheap. This review is way overdue...it should have been done in July. I was visiting my 16 yr old niece while her parents were out of town. She told me her a/c in her 2006 Honda CRV wasn't cooling. As some maybe aware there is a "Black Death" in these models and I was afraid it had happened to her car. I took her car to another shop where we were given a quote of about $2300 to fully replace the entire system. While I was waiting to pick up the car from that shop, I found Chris' shop here on Yelp. I gave him a call and after our conversation, I decided it was worth stopping by on my way back from picking the car up. I arrived minutes before Chris was to close shop for the evening but he sat with me, gave me a couple of different quotes...the most expensive was $900 less than the other shop. Chris took the time to look at the car and he surmised it probably just needed refrigerant. Bottom line: there were some parts that had to be replaced but the total cost saved my niece $1400. The best part is Chris superb customer service! When we walked out, I told my niece "I think you have found your mechanic for all your car needs". I had what looked to be a possible leak in my engine. When I called, Chris invited me in to take a look at it despite having a full service schedule that day. When I stopped by, Chris was extremely informative and courteous, and quick to take a look. Thankfully it was a false alarm, only needing a slight coolant topper which he did on the spot. This place really helped me out-I received excellent service on the same day I called. As a woman, I am cautious about who I choose to work on my car because I have been overcharged before in the past by mechanics who assume I don't know anything about cars (in my case, they are correct). Never visiting this place before, I decided to listen to the reviews and get a service my car desperately needed. The man who helped me (the owner, I think) was so friendly and explained how he would fix the issues in an easily understandable way that wasn't at all condescending. I was given a quote before the service which matched the price I paid out the door, offered water, and given an estimated time my car would be finished. He asked 2 mechanics to work on my car so I could leave sooner, which I really appreciated since I was exhausted from coming from work. He even let me know about a special on his yelp page to give me an additional discount! Who does that? I will be returning with my auto needs in the future, and am happy to finally have found a place with people I trust who treat me with respect. read more

I had been going here for 4 years and enjoyed working with Art. New management or to much sucess went to their heads and they have lost their competive and trustworthly customer service advantage. Quote was nearly 2 x that of the dealer with aftermarket market parts. And once I brought this to their attention price droped by 230 in 5 minutes still higher than dealer but price match if I moved it because they charged the repair fee for something that was never disclosed up front. They went to my trusted repair shop that I refered to a place I will never go again sadly. I even tried to call and speak to Art to see if I could resolve all these issues and understand what happen. In the end I no longer feel comfortable with them and was much more impressed with the service of Mark at the Subar Dealership and Siegfriends on Blackstone and Barstow ( Laura was knowledgable and upfront) Thought it was important for past and future customers to take a second look at No Limit and what they are charging. Just Expanded their shop. Twice the space and cost with half the service. :( read more

I took my car in to get diagnosed in the morning. They called me a couple hours to tell me that I needed a new suspension compressor. I decided to go ahead and get it replaced through them. I picked up the car the same day, and I'm very happy with the performance of the car. They have reasonable prices, and great customer service. Not sure about that other review. I have a truck and an SUV that No Limit did major repairs on and everything turned out fine. The SUV is a Tahoe that had a fluke incident, the cam shaft went out. We were really skeptical of our options with the dealer. We did A-LOT of homework because the repair itself was so rare we were hoping it was a bad dream, frankly. Of our options, we chose No Limit. I saw the motor apart and the cam was clearly worn out, it had become rounded. Just a bad luck situation. The repair was done as promised and we have had no problems since, it has been several months. I trusted them enough I suggested them to my dad when his car developed some issues. The dealer had stated it would cost $3700. Lenny said he could do the repair hoping for the minimum of about $1800. And repair as they go to keep the cost down. They got the job done for I believe about $2200! Saved $1500! It didn't appear the savings came easy either, but it did appear in some fashion Lenny and his techs really stepped up to help out my dad and got his very old car back on the road again! These guys are a class act, thank God I found them. I am new to Fresno and have a 2002 BMW 325i which as had a nightmare of issues, overheating being the main issue. After having the car looked at, at the BMW dealership in Fresno, then worked on twice by another mechanics shop on Blackstone which I will not bash, but should. Chris at No Limit was reassuring that they would do the job right and contact me before charging me or doing anything I haven't asked for which was done with the previous mechanic's and the car was still overheating. In the end I trust Chris to completely swap out my engine with a two year warranty and get my car back on the road. I will update my post in 6 months and then a year. Seriously would not take my car anywhere else. Lenny and Jesse are two of the nicest and most honest business men I have ever come across! They were able to get me in as soon as my car problems started without any sort of issue. I had originally taken my car in for a second opinion after being told I was having issues with my alternator and was anticipating a huge cost. I told the guys about the issue and instead of taking advantage of me, they let me know that it was nothing more than a battery issue which was replaced right then and there. I also let them know my brake light had been on and they checked it, topped off my fluid, and let me know when I would be needing new brakes.
