Lucky I hadn't had any of the plumbing fixtures installed and he pointed out that the brand I had boughten was known for causing issues(leaking valve stems, shower valve failures). I went on Reddit to find out this was true. Max was hired. I let him take over my bathroom remodel from the GC who was doing the tile. SCPS and their team were invaluable in leaving the final esthetics of my bathroom exactly how I imagined it. They were communicative along the way recommending a re-pipe with PEX, they purchased hard to find matte black shower and vanity fixtures, angle stops and were even able to find an intuitive way to make the Stainless steel supply hoses black. The way the tile was installed left them with huge hurdles to properly install the toilet flange and toilet and there were zero complaints. I was always met with kindness, their work showed integrity and pride. Their apprenticeships did them very well and it shows in their quality of work. They went the extra mile with everything they faced. They were affordable, trustworthy and timely. I highly recommend this crew for your plumbing needs. Can't wait to have them back for a tankless water heater and whole house water filtration system install.

Not long after, I received a call stating that the pipe underground was "outdated" and that the only solution was to run an entirely new main water line from the street to the house at an estimated cost of $20,000. Needless to say, I was shocked. Just one day earlier, I had been told with confidence that the leak could be repaired for $2,000. I informed the technician that I would need time to consider my options. At that point, he stated that he needed payment for the work already performed, so my wife wrote him a check for $1,000.
