Its alright. Came here on a Sunday evening. The food was cold even though we picked it up right away. The cooks were wearing their masks incorrectly (under the nose). Both the cashiers were not wearing a mask at all. The tacos themselves were okay but not something I would come back for. My order was incorrect as well even though the cashier repeated it back to me when I placed the order. Another delicious divey Mexican food restaurant to add to the list of tasty places to visit again. It was very well lit. I did feel like a minority but I didn't care. I was on a mission for tasty Mexican food and I found it. Surprisingly, there were some more exotic items on the menu and all of the standard fare as well. I, per my usual taste testing parameters, ordered a chicken burrito. It was HUGE and worth every penny. I wish it had a bit more kick but the salsa provided was delicious and had just enough heat. Almost perfect. We've had some less than stellar experiences with Mexican restaurants in the area lately, so our quest to find delicious Mexican food led us to try Los Arcos. Overall, the food was delicious, and the prices are great. We tried a steak burrito, a steak taco and a Chile Relleno dinner. I loved that they served 3 different, very tasty salsas with the chips. You are sure to love at least one of them. The main problem we had, which seems to be so common with many Mexican joints, are the big pieces of fat in the steak burrito and tacos. You could pick out the fat pieces in the taco, but you can't with the burrito. We would have enjoyed the meal so much more if we weren't biting into mouthfuls of fat. The only other thing that sucked was the bitter cold air that blew in every time someone opened the door. This is a store front property, but if they could find a way to add on a double door/entrance to keep out the harsh weather, that would be great. I also wanted to add that even though it's not a stand alone restaurant, they did a great job with transforming the store front property to give it a comfy look and feel. I appreciate the attention to detail and colors chosen with the paint job. Very nice. We will definitely come again, but we are hoping they will be receptive if we request that they not serve us big pieces of fat. read more

I recommend Torta Cubana to anyone that hasn't tried Mexican sandwich before. This sandwich is very flavorful, it comes with sausage, jam, chorizo, beef milanesa and egg served w/ tomato, lettuce, cheese, beans and sour cream. The egg is over medium, and everything seems to mix in so well together. The sandwich is already pre-cut in half for your convenience, and the portion of the food is good. Also, their french fries are pretty good, too. They are not hand cut fries, but man they so are crunchy compare to average french fries that you would normally eat. I have been to this restaurant at least five times already, and it has always been a positive experience for me and my friends. I always go there during lunch on weekdays, they can be a little busy. You will want to get the lunch menus if you go there for lunch because it's cheap, and delicious! Once you get yourself seated, you will be greeted with a waitress offering you what to drink and they are very knowledgeable on the stuff on the menus. The atmosphere of this restaurant is very casual, it has TVs and there is also Mexican music playing in the background. The restaurant is not big nor small, and the speed of service is about average. The waitress will come by from time to time to ask if you need anything (i.e. more water). My overall impression of this restaurant is great, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant. read more

We ordered delivery through grubhub. The only positive aspect of this was that it took around 30 minutes for our food to be delivered. Unfortunately, our order was not correct. We didn't have any cheese on our tacos despite paying extra for it, and we had raw onions rather than sautéed as specified on our order. The veggie tacos were also supposed to come with rice and they didn't. We paid nearly $2.60 for each veggie taco and they were so incredibly lackluster and quite frankly, on par with the "food" from Taco Bell. While I don't usually find it necessary to add lots of salt to my food, the guacamole was so bland that we needed to add lots of salt. The guacamole was also way too small for the cost of $7! The food was bland and tasteless, our order was incorrect in a number of ways, and we will definitely NEVER be ordering from here again. read more

All I can say is never have food delivered. After waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes, after multiple phone calls, the food was barely warm and tortillas were missing! We are fans of this restaurant for dining in. Even had them cater a party. The food quality is not the issue. If you can't do a good job of delivering food, don't. read more

1st time here, and we were thrilled!! Food seemed to be authentic, very flavorful, presented well, cooked perfectly. We had the queso fundido with excellent chorizo, mar y tierra, perfectly tender, and melt in ypur mouth barbacoa. Really enjoyed the house margarita, the addition of orange was a pleasant extra, finished with a crazy spicy margarita with a Dos Equis poured into it, spicy and yummy! Service was friendly, ambience is lovely, and I really like the decor. We'll be back soon, so many great sounding options on the menu. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is there was an overall lack of heat/spiciness to our dishes; however, after reading through other reviews, it sounds like we just need to request extra spicy on our next visit, no problem. read more

Friendly and manage to put some legit food together. The wife and I will order takeout from here again. Don't know what it's like inside yet, soon though. So for the food, the Aqua Fresca was made well, the enchiladas were top notch. The rice and beans were standard fare, nothing so special. I would certainly recommend this place to others. read more

What could be better is filling orders correctly. For instance, lovely wife ordered a dinner that, according to the menu, comes with rice and beans. It came with French fries! They did correct the error. Tacos are offered "Mexican style" with onions or cilantro, or "American style" with tomato and lettuce. Be sure to specify, because they won't ask. Margaritas were cloyingly sweet; I asked for a beer. The waitress seemed to have some difficulty understanding my question about what was on tap. We've never ordered for delivery, but several reviewers have noticed a weakness in that area. All that said, we liked the place, and will be back. We'll just have to be careful how we order. By the way, order the roasted jalapeños with onions as a side. Wonderful, as is their home made salsa. read more

We wanted to find a new Mexican restaurante and went on Groupon to discover them...Turns out they are just down the street from us. We drive past unknowing all this time. Really good food. Become really loud ,when the dance/club croud showed up. My 11 year daughter felt uneasy then and we had to leave. I guess we just have to time it just right. What was delivered from the restaurant, was simply not edible and went to the trash. We even made pictures of their food in the trash can. Obviously, this restaurant does not care about travelers, who will be gone soon. Beware. We ordered basic food - beef fajitas, grilled chicken and seafood soup. We were surprised with a very quick delivery. The we realized - fajitas and chicken were apparently cooked long time ago, then warmed up and packed. They heated up hot peppers together with the food to conceal. The soup was scraped from the very bottom of the pot. We went to bed hungry. I'd like to give Los Arcos 3.75 stars if I could. I have been here 2-3 times and generally enjoyed the visits. Food, margaritas and service are reliable, better than some places in the area and ingredients seems fresh. Prices are reasonable and the menu is extensive. The ambiance is unimpressive and the restaurant is located in a strip mall in need of a refresh - we actually passed in trying this restaurant a couple of years ago because it looked a little sketchy from the outside. Hole in the wall authentic Mexican. A little on the pricey side but good food and atmosphere. Started with Queso Fundido which was very good. I had the Mixed Faijitas, the shrimp was flavorful and tender, steak was cooked perfectly and chicken was good. Huge serving, enough to have leftovers for lunch. My husband had Tacos Don Chido which were very good and my son had a beef taco. Service was great, they took very good care of my young son's needs and were quick with refills of drinks and chips. This is a little hole in the wall joint that you would otherwise miss. However, the food here is absolutely delicious. The ambience has a Mexican-resort feel and the menu integrates a new-world vibe. We came in on Valentine's Day for dinner. Before I get into it the food was absolutely amazing! Now, where to begin.... the server name on the ticket was Yuli. She was the absolute worst, I ordered the tacos don chidos asked for no guacamole and she stated it comes on the side so I got it because our daughter would've eaten it. When my food arrived I discovered there was guacamole smothered on the bottom of my tacos. My wife ordered Chile Rellenos Taco dinner with double rice and somehow received a Chile Rellenos dinner with no tacos and a side of beans and rice. For dessert we ordered fried ice cream and it took about 20mins to arrive. Once the check came I gave her my card immediately expecting it back within the next few mins....I did not receive it back until after 15mins thinking she lost it. One of those local places you've wondered about but lacked the optimism to try until a Groupon pops up. It turned out better than expected. We all ordered a round of orchata and it was pretty good, so too was the margarita with a full-size bottle of Corona sitting upside down in the glass. Mexican restaurants can be hit or miss, you have to worry about the food being more authentic or trying to cater to gringos, then of course there are quality and cost concerns as with any restaurant. We tend to be more strategic when ordering by choosing safe items along with something that should demonstrate their overall capabilities. Our safe dish was the Arrachera Los Arcos, a skirt steak with chorizo and cheese served with rice, refried beans, and grilled onions and jalapeno. Everything was prepared well but to my surprise the jalapeno had heat! Most places don't use super hot jalapenos since most can only handle mild. I was happy. We also ordered a bunch of tacos; chicharron, cabeza, al pastor, and lengua. They were generally pretty good, I prefer these REAL tacos made with corn tortillas and cilantro and onion rather than the imposters you find elsewhere. The cabeza tasted more like lengua but that was my only issue. Typically I wouldn't give 4 stars to a place with so many dishes after one visit but the food and service deserved higher than 3. I'll have to go back to sample a few other offerings and will change my star rating if required. read more
