I don't even know how this place is allowed to be in business. The food was awful. Meat was like burnt leather. One piece of avocado on the entire torta with chopped bits of burnt tough steak. Wilted lettuce. Waste of money. Couldn't even eat it. I'd be embarrassed to serve this and call it food.

Finally stopped by here after wanting to try them for a while. I was greeted immediately and my order took only a few minutes to prepare. I started very simple 3 tacos... 1 pollo, 1 carne asada and 1 lengua. All were pretty good and traditional. My favorite would be la lengua, then carne asada and then the chicken. I definitely plan on returning to try other menu items. I'm sure many over look it because it's in the Exxon but I encourage you to give them a try.

Like that this place is near by my office. I went for the first time after they have been open for several months now. This place is located inside the Exxon Mobile gas station. A little interesting upon entering. The counter is on the left side of the gas station. They don't have a menu with prices, or a carryout menu and recently they posted a sign that the prices gave changed. You can ask if they have what is featured on the menu (I've seen chilaquiles, ceviche) but I've had no luck other than getting a taco or torta. Chorizo is on the saltier side. The lengua is flavorful and tender. Hits the spot. Salsa Verde and salsa roja is on the bland side. Service is fine. They take your order and then the food comes out. Nothing more, nothing less. One taco is $3.50 on 10/18/23.

Low key Mexican spot inside a gas station. It may seem alittle sketchy but the staff was nice. I got 3 tacos (chicken, carne, Al pastor). Price was good and the tacos were delicious! Will be back to try more items on their menu.

Tacos were really good. Taco Tuesday is a must! Don't let the gas station location fool you into not giving it a try. Will be going again.

Continuing my America 250 series, representing a 1940's established business is Dairy Queen. They…read morestarted in Illinois in 1940, and I remember loving the chicken tenders when I was a kid living in Texas in the 90's. Although my tastes have changed in the past 30 years from simply chicken tenders, pizza, etc. of what I liked then greatly expanding to much more, I still like the DQ chicken tender basket. Odenton DQ is the closest to my home and have been a few times. When I go, the catalyst is either a deal, using reward program points, and/or not letting points expire. While I'm not going as far as 5-stars like I gave Raising Cane's in Gambrills & Columbia. Raising Cane's chicken tenders are my favorite, but Dairy Queen is still solid. Raising Cane's doesn't give you gravy though, which DQ does. I like dipping the fries as well as the chicken tenders in the gravy. When I was a kid, I used to try to get gravy to dip my fries in at other places that had gravy, but nowadays really only Dairy Queen is the only place I can think of that I do that as the chicken tender basket comes with gravy by default. In addition to 4 or 6 chicken tenders & fries, the basket also comes with Texas Toast, which is good, but I'll admit I love the Raising Cane's Texas Toast more. When people think of Dairy Queen, the first thing that comes to mind is not the chicken strip basket like me, but they think of the various ice cream products such as the Blizzard. Those Blizzards and other various ice cream products are great too. My girlfriend & I have split a couple of Blizzards. One time I was by myself, got the chicken strip basket and a small Blizzard. I felt bloated after the "small" Blizzard, but it was delicious. I should've gotten the kid size Blizzard, but it was only an 80 cent price differential. I got their burger a couple of times, and it's surprisingly good and big too, almost the size of a hubcap, which foreshadows a future Yelp review in Arkansas on my state series I'll be doing after the 20th century businesses. One of the times, I had a Blizzard or split with my girlfriend in addition to this big burger, and I felt bloated, but it was worth it. Staff at Odenton DQ is pretty efficient and generally cordial, although one time, I felt they were kind of rude. Maybe an off day, but on average they've been good. Seating is limited inside, but there are maybe 4 booths. There are more outside seating both in the shade & sun. In summary, great food including ice cream.

Still some of the best, creamiest and flavorful ice cream around. From cones, cherry sundaes and…read moretheir famous blizzards, DQ has all of your ice cream needs covered!
