I love this place. I really, really do. Their burritos have been a major pregnancy craving of mine and I've been picking up burritos to go often lately. The guys are always super friendly and patient when I call in (dealing with poor reception a few times) and when I come in to pick up. The burritos are delicious. My only complaint is that they've messed up my order a couple of times recently. I get the same thing every time (I'm boring), a Santa Pepper burrito with extra sour cream and red hot sauce inside. Twice recently I've gotten a burrito with no peppers and no sour cream. My hormonal, pregnant ass was devastated lol. It's a Santa Pepper burrito! Where are the peppers?! Based on the glowing reviews I chose this restaurant when visiting New Bedford. I am really surprised at these reviews since they don't seem to reflect the restaurant I was at. I had misgivings walking in it just seemed kind of worn and a bit dirty. I really did not find much to recommend it. Finding beans in my tacos was a major disappointment, since I don't like them, and didn't expect a taco would have them. On a closer look at the menu I did see beans in the list of ingredients for the tacos I chose. The waitress never came back to ask me how my meal was, so I didn't bother asking for something else. Other than that, service was fast. Tacos in soft flour tortillas seems a little unusual to me, and un taco like. Salsa was okay only, didn't seem ultra authentic. It looked freshly made but was not tasty, but then again tomatoes are not in season right now and they were not very flavorful. Other than that the sauce was bland. I was surprised they did not serve freshly made tortillas in the tortilla chips and salsa, they were obviously from a bag and not great ones at that. What was good? The iced tea from a bottle that I had. I wished I was at Boca Grande in Cambridge..so much better. Probably, the atmosphere is good if you are just wanting a comfortable and friendly place to have a beer and some infexpensive and filling Mexican cuisine or you prefer bland food. I didn't try the barbecue versions, which some people raved about, if I had I might have been more impressed. Just one dessert on the menu (a cookie) did not give me the option of perhaps making up for this disappointment with a tasty dessert. Unbelievably good food! Great for take-out. I got the Chicken Taquitos: "Two Corn Tortillas with Chicken, Cheese, Lettuce, Salsa & Sour Cream, Served with Fresh Lime". It sounds so simple, but they were amazing! All ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Hot, fresh, crispy tortilla with tasty cheese melted onto it, tender and flavorful chicken, bright red tomato and bright green lettuce chopped nice and small, with some extra tasty sour cream. Squeeze the lime over the top, and the flavors pop. They were so good that I didn't even care that they forgot my guacamole (and I really like guacamole, so that's saying something). I got my food to go, and the presentation in the container was neat and tidy, no leaks, no mess. Just great. If you don't like the dining room, you can take your food to go, and walk less than half a mile to the State Pier, where there are benches overlooking the waterfront. The Waterfront Visitor Center (Wharfinger Building) is right there, and you can check out the Seaport Art Walk while you're there (active from June to November). Head out the door and turn right onto Purchase, left on Union, left on MacArthur, and there you are. Enjoy! read more

I pick up No Probs more often than is healthy, but it really just doesn't get any better. My staple is the California Burrito - refried beans instead of black, but that's just a personal quirk. It's delicious either way. Add a little of the signature hot sauces and you've got the perfect burrito. Staff is always friendly, excellent assortment of beer, and the option to either get yelled at yourself to pick up your order , or have a waitress yelled to go get it for you makes it a great place to grab a quick bite, or sit and stay a while. read more

No Problemo doesn't really serve Mexican food. It serves Mexican restaurant-like food, but what's great is they stick with a few offerings with a few ingredients and they do them well while keeping prices low. This place also has some character. It has a low-key bar with low-cost drinks. The sangria is whatever the bartender threw together based on whatever he/she thinks sangria is, so it can range from a nice wine punch to a red soda with a hint of alcohol. The tacos are made with flour tortillas, which makes them a little less Latino tasting in my view. The 3 owners are usually working the small food prep area. Don't go at lunchtime during the school year unless you're prepared for a wait. read more

Heaven for the lover of Mexican food. The food is cheap, fast and delicious. Their burritos are plump and they put plenty of homemade sauces on the table if you want to spice it up. The service is friendly and the environment is clean. They have nice window booths that are great for people-watching. Supposedly, they put tables out in the summer. No Problemo is surprisingly healthy for the New England area. You get fresh veggies in your burrito with low sodium ingredients. The tacos are presented very nicely with a lightly toasted tortilla skin and your choice of black beans, pinto beans, chicken, beef, or veggie-only. My Super Burrito was delicious although not nearly as large as a Chipotle burrito. So from the viewpoint of a Californian, this joint is just OK given healthy tasty food is ubiquitous over there. However, if I was a local I would give it a strong 4 for its take on Mexican junk food. read more

Yum yum yum yum yum. When I moved to Providence, I was shocked at the dearth of Mexican food in the area. I have spent my last six years here trying to find the best Mexican around, and No Problemo lands at the top of my list. Unfortunately, I can't give a very thorough review because every time I go here I get a burrito. BUT, I often drag people here so I can get one, so I think that indicates I'm pretty sold on the place. The burritos are absolutely stuffed with all manner of goodness, and they never feel greasy or heavy. There are a ton of options, and taking out particular ingredients if you don't care for them, is not a problem at all. What I love most about burritos is that if you eat a whole one around 2pm, you're set for the rest of the day. Usually you're a little full at first, but then you just forget about food altogether and feel comfortably satiated until it's time for sleep. It's really the most efficient way to live. Also, the price is right. You can get a very delicious and filling meal for not a lot of money, which I am super into. You can either order at the counter, or have sit-down service. I really like having options like that. Sometimes you're in a rush, sometimes you want to linger. Here, you can do whatever works with your schedule. The sit down section of the restaurant also serves beer and wine. As other reviewers have pointed out, it's a cash only place, but there is an ATM near the bathroom. I believe the fee was a reasonable $2, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Service has always been good, and most recently I went with a friend who is trying to eliminate corn from her diet--which includes corn syrup. The server was incredibly accommodating, if a bit perplexed with some of the requests she made. All in all, No Problemo is delicious, fresh food at a good price. Good stuff. read more

A bunch of dude friends go to Mexico, get inspired by authentic street cuisine and bring the genius back to New Beige... I like it -a lot. New Bedford isn't typically pegged as foodie heaven, but No Problemo offers a unique menu of fresh, authentic fare and stellar sangria selections at a solid price point in a laid back atmosphere. Sidle up to the counter for take out or sit for a leisurely drink! The bar/seating area is definitely an improvement over their original storefront. The parking situation isn't ideal and I think they may only accept cash (?), but the mild inconvenience is worth the value. I highly recommend the El Diablo burrito and watermelon sangria! I, however, do NOT recommend fighting off the Cinco de Mayo crowd... just remember that it's somewhat UMass Dartmouth adjacent and well within walking distance from fraternity houses :) read more

I was in town for the weekend and ate here every day because I couldn't get enough of those sauces - every sauce on every thing, yeah! I even bought sauce to bring home with me, though I must add that the food underneath all that sauce is fresh and delicious in it's own right; my boyfriend (who used to live in Austin, home of the killa tex-mex) even said that it was the best wheat taco he's had, as he generally prefers corn tacos. The guys working and running the place were making tacos and burritos like maniacs, and still managed to find time to be friendly and witty and not start to freak out every time someone else walked in the door; which seems to be about every 20 seconds. read more

This place really puts the "lame-o" in "This restaurant is pretty f$%&*ing lame-o." It took us like ten mins to be seated, though we were staring at empty tables. Yet when we ordered, they were perfectly happy to start rushing. I could be wrong, but I feel like it's not a great sign for the food when your order comes out in two minutes flat. The food was nothing special, and they're really going for the "aloof doucher" type of service The one upside to the whole thing were the prices, which were pretty reasonable. Been coming here on and off since they opened and always found the food kind of meh. Don't care for their version of tacos, and the burritos, while usually a good value, are hit or miss on flavor. I usually only come here when a friend picks it. But now that they offer a proper Mexican style taco (what they refer to as a taquito) I might have to reconsider my taco options and come here more often. Surprisingly good portions on the taquitos, nice cook on the beef, cilantro/onion relish was substantial and uniform, a crucial detail to balance the flavors that can often get overlooked by lesser establishments. We ordered on a Saturday night. When we got into restaurant there were a few people waiting for food. We watched all of these wepeople get called and we sat there waiting and waiting sand waiting and waiting. It's honestly ridiculous and I'm thinking change the name from No Problemo because that's definitely false advertising. Update Just ordered again from no Problemo and the red head girl giving orders at the door was very rude and even said she doesn't want our Buisness. We simply brought it up to her that the price seemed much higher than it should be based off menu on website and she told us the menu online has nothing to do with their prices. I guess someone just put a random menu online for no Problemo because it is not affiliated with the restaurant according to the lady at door with red hair. She told us it was $10 for tostada and $3.50 to add beef. This is what website shows Tostada A bed of black beans, rice, corn chips green leaf lettuce, salsa, cucumbers roasted red peppers, cheese, sour cream scallions, with cilantro lime dressing Sm. $5.75 Reg. $7.75. We also did not get receipt. I order from here again with cautious optimism but I will never order again. It's been 4 years and it's pretty much the same: cute hipster spot, decent food, nice waitress, great beverage selection in the beer department, wine, so-so. Again, sort of stale commercial red and blue and yellow chips. My boyfriend had a massive Zeus burrito that he loved. I enjoyed my chicken taco. The background music is good. If you're local you just know. No prob is a taqueria based off of Cali style burritos with fresh ingredients and great service. Their staff is comprised of people who care about each other and what they do. They are so consistent it hurts. It is cash only so be prepared they do also have an atm on site. My go to's are normally bbq anything, burrito, taco, quesadilla you cant go wrong. The buffaque quesadilla and the tostada salad are also awesome! This place opened when I was in college and at the time, I remember being really nervous that it might not last. Ha! I needn't have worried-- it's phenomenal and everyone knows it. I can't vouch for its authenticity-- its NB boys' interpretation of Mexicali food, but it's fresh and bright and consistently delicious. M-W through the winter you can get their Mexican chicken soup and it makes me resent my full-time job for making it so hard to get here during the week before it sells out. I always get the house salad with the lime vinaigrette-- add pork, bbq sauce, and plantains. A lot of textures and flavors mixed deliciously. My husband gets the Buff-a-que quesadilla or burrito without fail. If we're in a hurry we eat on the counter side and if we have some time we do the full-service side so I can get a glass of whatever the special sangria is. The music is good, the decor is thoughtful, cohesive, and fun and the food cannot be beat. I wouldn't exactly describe the staff as overly solicitous but they're always pretty witty.
