Cold Night, Hot Tacos, Zero Regrets…read more We stumbled into this taco spot on a cold night, and honestly? Best decision we made. It definitely gives hole-in-the-wall vibes, but don't let that scare you off--those are usually the places that know what they're doing. And this one absolutely does. Inside was warm, cozy, and welcoming, with plenty of seating (no awkward hovering with your tray). The whole place just felt comfortable--like the kind of spot you want to linger in while your food works its magic. Drinks? Covered. They've got beer, soda, and classic options like horchata and passionfruit juice, so everyone's happy. Now let's talk food because wow. The birria tacos were unreal. Juicy, packed with flavor, and very filling. The kind of tacos that make you pause mid-bite and nod in approval. Easy 10 out of 10. We also ordered the cheese quesadilla meal, and it was more than enough to fill him up, no sad "still hungry" looks afterward. Add in extremely friendly staff who make you feel genuinely welcome, and you've got a spot that checks all the boxes: warm, cozy, delicious, and inviting. Bottom line: Hole in the wall? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. Would I go back? Without question--and probably wearing a bigger jacket so I can eat more.

The ambience is cozier at the Somerset location which is to say that Fall River feels more open, but both are clean and well designed, not over the top with Mexicana decor, which I think can slip into the tacky theme category. I don't know who's in charge here, but they run a tight ship, super efficient, with a thoughtful professional staff, and they do it consistently. Well done!!That's not easy with the staffing challenges these days. I don't like to take risks with my hard-earned money. So while more and more "elevated" Mexican restaurants seem to open in the area, I choose to stick with Fiesta for great food and amazing service EVERY TIME. I recommend you do the same! It might sound like I know these people. I don't. They just really deserve your business. You'll be happy.

Not mind-blowing, but it hit the spot. Prices were fair, portions were generous, and it definitely calmed the craving for Mexican food. If you're looking for bold, unforgettable flavor--this isn't that--but it's totally fine for a quick bite. Service was great--friendly and fast. The music? Surprisingly awesome! Bonus points for the playlist keeping the vibe up. And the cleanest restaurant bathroom I've seen in a while... seriously, you could do a TikTok dance in there. Would we go back? Yeah--probably for takeout or a no-fuss dinner. It's not "call your best friend and rave about it" good, but it's solid when you're hungry and nearby.

It's consistently very good, even though we often trek from our hometown to Bristol, Newport, or Providence for dining. Portsmouth has slim pickings when it comes to quality restaurants--15 Point and Fieldstone's only come to mind. Rocco's used to be on that list, but new ownership makes it a bit of a question mark right now. This place always delivers: a solid menu with a strong emphasis on seafood, a long cocktail list with prices still reasonable for the area ($12-$14), and reliably good service. Portions are generous and the food is consistently well prepared. We split the bacon-wrapped scallops to start, then had duck and a seafood pasta for entrées--both excellent. Highly recommended. And when the weather cooperates, the outdoor dining right on the water is a real bonus.

Place was busy but the he was able to take care of us. Some of the girls had bottomless mimosas (only oj as a juice option). Everyone really liked their breakfast, the tostadas and the egg benny were the faves. The salsa for the tostadas was delicious not too spicy, eggs cooked perfectly, the southern benny between the gravy and the potatoes were great. Great option for your weekend brunch or a bite to eat. Updated a bit on the restaurant side but the bar side being older with that wooden charm.

The drink menu was not very extensive. Our Asian salad cups appetizer tasted exactly like an Asian salad mix I've bought at the grocery store and looked like it too - I'm convinced that's exactly how they prepared this. My veggie burger had burnt edges and wasn't too enjoyable flavor-wise. It didn't help my overall impression that when I got takeout here another time, they totally butchered my boyfriend's name when we ordered over the phone, and we had a hard time picking up our order because of this (how you get "Stephanie" from "Anthony," I just really don't know). I think this place just gets lucky having a good location across from Independence Park and being close to but just out of the way from downtown. Can't say I was impressed by the food - there are too many other good options in Bristol, I just can't say I'd recommend this to others. Perhaps it's improved since I visited, but it's a pass for me based on experiences I've had.
