I've been a customer here for about 10 years now and the menu has always been simple but fantastic. Flavors are great. Cafe de olla is still a must. If you're still in the fence about trying them out, don't wait. Come have a delicious breakfast with a hot cup of coffee.

After making a Sam Woo run, I felt the hankering for a breakfast burrito. NTC is a cozy cafe located in a strip mall. Today, I ordered the Gunner Breakfast Burrito with bacon and sauce on the side. Really good tasting burrito. They use a home styled potato. Included were a chili verde sauce, spicy red sauce and something with sour cream. All 3 were good with the burrito. Service was very friendly.

No Toro Cafe is a great breakfast spot with a cool military-themed atmosphere that gives it a lot of character. The place feels welcoming and has a strong local, community feel. The chilaquiles are a must-try -- flavorful, perfectly cooked, and very filling. You can tell everything is made with care, and the portions are solid. Pair it with their coffee and you're set for the morning. Service is friendly and attentive, and the overall experience makes this place stand out from your typical breakfast joint. Definitely worth stopping by if you're looking for a hearty breakfast with personality. Highly recommend!

Came here with my niece for our little breakfast spot to try out this past Saturday morning. She got the pancake special, I ordered the waffle special, and we shared a side of potatoes. So, so, so good. Thank you everyone, especially the lady chef who was hanging all with gusto. We sat next to her and even though she was shielded, I coukd still see the griddle, she was non stop, and in a beautiful zone. Will be back :)

Really good chilaquiles if you are in the area. The only thing I wish they had on them was beans, but still really good without them. The Cafe de olla was also delicious.

We hadn't been here in a while but this place continues to be great. We arrived and we were promptly seated, we order the cafe de olla and the coffee had a great flavor. My mom asked for a hotter cup and they happy to bring her another cup. Both of our dishes were delicious the chilaquiles salsa was tasty and the chips were crunchy. I have to highlight their meat as it was very soft and it actually came medium rare as ordered. They came and refilled our coffee and checked in on us multiple times. A plus was that they were playing the Sunday football games on their tv.

Been coming here since the year they opened in 2016 and have never had a bad experience! They always have good food and a simple menu that is all very delicious

Steak Chopper Chilaquiles, Banana Pecan Pancakes

We ordered the steak chilaquiles and the pecan banana pancakes - both were so delicious! The portions were just right, and we still split everything to share. Service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere inside was calm and relaxing. I really enjoyed my breakfast and can't wait to come back!

No Toro Cafe is Veteran owned and operated. Canvas prints of service members adorn the walls. Today, the owner (and wonderful friend) Yvonne Magaña accepted a print of my son Lt. Nicolas Leiva for her restaurant. I urge everyone local to support this place, which features many menu items reminiscent of a good mess tent or hall. My specialty favorites, however, are the café de olla (Mexican coffee with cinnamon) and French toast with bananas and pecans.

Great breakfast spot in a small shopping center. Place was cozy and clean and service was excellent. Chilaquiles were delicious. Met Ivonne, the owner, and had a pleasant chat. Happy to support this small business.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while since it is so close to me and I saw some Yelp friends post about it. Location- small strip mall that also has Belly Bombz and TJs Sandwiches; no problem finding close, free parking; inside is small and basic looking Staff- we got a younger guy who was a bit timid and hard to hear; food came out in a reasonable time Food- the food was nothing special and the serving size was noticeably small (esp. the potatoes) *convenient since it is maybe 2 miles from our house but we won't be returning...there are just so many other places to choose from that provide a better deal for your $

I asked for a bacon burrito not an egg burrito.

Ask the Community - No Toro Cafe

    Does the establishment serve alcohol?

    No it doesn’t.

Do you have a no wait list?

this question doesn't make sense; if you are asking if they have a wait list, then yes they do, this place is popular and more so on weekends so it needs a wait list.

Is this a vegetarian restaurant? No Toro = No Beef? Should be clear in their description.

No Toro just means “No Bull” meaning we’re not messing around! Our food is tasty. We do have some vegetarian options if you’re interested. However our name doesn’t mean no beef.

The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, and the food is consistently amazing. My go-to order is the birria omelet and the stuffed French toast with berries and homemade whipped cream--both are absolutely delicious . Honestly, writing this review is making me want to go back and order them right now! I've sat both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor patio can get pretty hot, while the indoor seating feels a little small. I still love this place, but I think adding a few fans to the outdoor seating area would make the experience even better, especially on warmer days. Overall, great food, great service, and definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to!

The omelet was in between a scramble and an omelet so the texture was interesting, and it didn't look as appetizing as a legit omelet. The service was mediocre at best. Our waiter barely said 2 sentences and was not personable or friendly. He brought us what we needed, but the human touch was definitely missing. The outside patio is spacious enough and fairly comfortable. The umbrellas kept us shaded to where we were able to sit outside for over an hour on a 85 degree day. I would give this place one more try but I definitely would opt out of the potatoes and get hash browns instead and try something different on the menu.

I can't have them from anywhere else because these hit the spot so hard that no one can compete. I personally have not tried anything else, but my kids have enjoyed other treats from this place. They are located in Cerritos at a very busy shopping plaza and there's plenty of parking. I didn't expect the bakery to be an actual restaurant. There was a good crowd, sitting at tables and eating and drinking. They have about a dozen different flavors of macaroons. You can't go wrong with any of them, but my top favorite are the Birthday, Fruity Pebble, Horchata, Cappuccino and Ferrero Rocher. They make nice gifts too, as they can put it in a treat box in an ice brown paper bag. I definitely need to come back and try their drinks and something else from their menu.

It came with garlic rice and about five large pieces of pork belly. While the portion was generous, I found the pork a little dry and chewy, and I definitely needed water to push it down. My boyfriend, on the other hand, really enjoyed his Breakfast Smash Burger. It was much thicker than we expected, definitely not a traditional smashed burger, and could have used a little more sauce. The bun had a nice crispy crust though. The side of fries were a standout: crispy, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. We ordered the chocolate chip cookie for dessert. It was large and thin, and since it was served before we were ready to eat it, we asked if they could warm it up again later and they gladly did. The cookie was softer and the chocolate melted nicely. The ambiance is casual and relaxed. You order at the counter before finding a table, and there's plenty of indoor seating. We would have loved to sit outside, but all of the shaded patio tables were occupied, and it was a little too hot to sit in the sun. One detail I especially appreciated was that the tables have purse hooks underneath. I'd definitely come back for the coffee if I'm in the area but I'd probably try a different entree.

I usually order the Popeye Omelet with home fries and toast. Everything is seasoned well and the ingredients taste fresh. Other things I've tried include the Chilaquiles, French Dip, Kids Scrambled Egg Breakfast with French Toast, and Posole. Everything is classic and reliably good. You'll think, wow, I'll probably need a box to-go, but somehow you'll eat it all in one sitting! Sometimes you have to write your name down at the check-in stand out front in order to get a table. But I've never had to wait too long. The servers really pay attention to anything you might need without rushing you or asking lots of questions. So I think that's how they keep the wait time short. The vibes here are just 10/10 for a family breakfast. Our toddler likes watching the model train that circles the upper windows of the restaurant. I've ordered takeout and delivery from here as well and never had any complaints.
