Just stopped by for lunch and ordered the No Toro Burger. I was impressed with the size as well as the subtle taste. It's a bacon cheeseburger with this delicious sauce..slightly warm spicy but quickly dissolves so you can enjoy the burger. Make sure you ask for the sauce..maybe it's already on it..I think I got confused when the menu said No Toro Sauce..I told the waitress I wanted the Toro Sauce..I get it now..doh!! The beef patty is very well seasoned and extremely tasty and moist. It's topped off with a fried egg (perhaps why my burger got tastefully messy). If you don't want the egg, just let her know. Super excited about this new little place. Finally got to try it today and loved it! I got the chilaquiles with steak and my friend got the Sgt. Both were great! So fresh and flavorful. Chilaquiles were crunchy and didn't get soggy, with just the right about of spice and seasoning. The service was also great. There were two gals that helped us (I think they are the owners) and both were so nice. We needed a breakfast place in the area, and this is the perfect fit. We found this cafe in search of breakfast. Where to begin. The cafe de olla is perfect. Not too strong and not too watered down. We ordered banana Nutella pancakes. Not your typical homemade pancakes. The flavor was like banana foster. Delicious! The chilaquiles were the highlight for me. You can tell everything is made from scratch. The chips were the perfect crunch, the salsa was fresh and homemade, sooooooo damn good! Definitely worth a visit. The cafe is also owned by a Veteran woman who served both in the USMC and US Army. Finally tried breakfast at No Toro Café after eyeing it for like a year! It is a small diner with Mexican inspired breakfast. It can get pretty packed on the weekend! Luckily it was just me and my bf so we snatched the last seats at the bar. The servers here are super friendly and attentive. We got our coffees right away and they gave us recommendations. We ended getting a chorizo wet burrito to share because it is LARGE and bacon on the side. The burrito was really good and the perfect size for two people. The No Toro sauce makes all the difference! Came here with my kids for lunch. I had a Groupon for $20 worth of food and decided to try it out. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean and neat it looked. We were immediately greeted and the staff was very friendly. Our server was Yara, who I later found out was the co-owner. She was so friendly and engaging with my kids. My son spilled his water and she promptly came to wipe it up with the best attitude. The restaurant has a military theme which my boys thought was pretty cool. My son asked if it was a real artillery box on our table to which Yara replied yes. They enjoyed the pictures on the wall as well. For the food, my kids had the No Toro Burgers with fries and they really enjoyed it. It was on their lunch special menu which has items priced very reasonably (under $10). I initially ordered a breakfast burrito only to see my neighbor getting served this awesome looking plate of chilaquiles so I ran up to Yara to see if I could change my order. I'm glad I did! So we decided to try this new place after church after reading the yelp reviews, figured why not. My daughter is not a breakfast person but hubby and I are. Came here Sunday around 12:30 ish. Nice little joint with marine memorabilia around. We decided to of course start off with some coffee, 2 choices. We decided on the cafe de olla. Or as our waiter called it "Mexican coffee" which is delicious coffee made with brown sugar and cinnamon. Yum. I had the sgt. Sandwich, hubby had the wet burrito, daughter the recon chicken sandwich and lil one a pancake with 2 bacon. I forgot to take pics cause we were starving. Lol. This review is for a doordash order, so I can't comment on the dining in experience. I was in the area and very hungry so I ordered a breakfast burrito. I figured that's something you can't go wrong with. I really wasn't expecting much, as long as you have cheese and eggs and potatoes I won't be mad! Well, the burrito was sadly just not good. Very confused on the reviews that liked it. The diced potatoes were bland. Didn't seem like they had seasoning. The eggs were flavorless (and I am someone who rarely says "this meal needs salt"). The sausage was cheap and gross. The salsa verde was obviously some canned concoction, which is fine, again I wasn't expecting much, and I added it to try and give the burrito some sort of flavor. With fees/tax/tip, this burrito came out to $26 on doordash but I was so hungry I didn't care when I ordered it, as long as it was decent. Afterwards, I was very disappointed I spent that much on something I didn't even finish.
