There are so many options, the egg drop soup is so tasty, the chow mein and the shrimp is 10/10. My family enjoyed the sushi, it was very fresh and they kept the rolls coming. There was also an additional 15% discount currently on Tuesdays and Fridays. Huge variety of food at the buffet including seafood. I liked that there were items here that are not usually found at a typical Asian buffet like braised chicken feet and pork hocks. There were even salmon collars available. There was a soup available that had real lobster claw meat. I especially enjoyed the lotus leaf wrapped rice dumplings and baked crab on little scallop shells. Surprisingly, their tempura style French fries were really excellent, fresh, hot and crispy! (This was the first time I have tried fries off of a buffet line.) Good tasty food no matter what is chosen. I will definitely need to return to try their highly recommended Mongolian grill. Service was efficient and friendly. Used plates were removed quickly, keeping the table tidy. This place will definitely go on my dining rotation. Parking is plentiful.

The food is great, the chicken noodle soup hits just as much as I remember it from my childhood. Prices are more than fair, $17.99 for adults for lunch for all you can eat. I'm glad a business like this can be brought back after Souplantation went bankrupt. Even the interior reminds me of the old Souplantations I grew up with. Service is minimal and efficient, rightly so for a self service buffet. Whether you came to Souplantation in the past or are a new customer looking for a healthy-ish buffet, I recommend Soup'n Fresh! The rating of a 3 was because twice when I went to get a clean plate, there were two that were dirty. A couple of people left some used plates and bowls where the gloves and hand sanitizer are (which is in the middle of the food). I had to ask for a manager to clean up, because that stuff sat there for over 30 minutes. There was food on the floor, which created a slipping hazard. This was a "new" manager, who apologized when I showed her the stuff, and said she would let Corporate know. Why? If you're the manager, direct the staff. There used to be a great manager there that was constantly walking the floor and making sure everything was in order. He was fantastic! I'm hoping it was just his day off. Again, good food and a good selection. It was the other stuff that made it not so pleasant. It'll be awhile before we try it again.

When we first walked in, the place looked empty, and my wife and I almost considered leaving. Just as we were about to head out, a server came over, seated us, and explained the menu. The $45 menu is extensive, featuring a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes such as escargot (ốc), pho, and bò né (Vietnamese sizzling beef steak), among many others. We ordered escargot with tamarind sauce, oysters with cheese, a lobster special, rau muống (water spinach) with garlic, glass noodles, and a ribeye steak. This isn't a typical buffet--each dish is cooked to order. It took about 15 minutes since there were only two chefs, but the wait was absolutely worth it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served piping hot. The lobster was a whole lobster with claws, and the ribeye was a generous cut served sizzling at the table. The portions are large, and our server kindly warned us ahead of time--we're glad we listened! The owner was friendly, and the service was attentive throughout our meal. My wife and I loved this place and will definitely be coming back. It's great to have quality Vietnamese food nearby without having to travel all the way to OC.

FANTASTIC PLACE FOR FOOD AND A PARTY!…read more I had the privilege of being invited to a party with some friends who had booked their event with Sea Queen Restaurant and I cannot deny that I was only impressed with the food, decor, staff, and the entire experience. If you are interested in booking your own event here, I recommend it. If you have no events coming up and just want some amazing food, still come here for that too! Amazing dishes are cooked and served here. It is mostly Vietnamese cuisine that you would find here, but hey... who doesn't enjoy this kind of cuisine? There is so much this restaurant has to offer. Not to mention there are weekly events; even a karaoke night. Lastly, if you enjoy sea snails, escargot, and don't want to drive out of the IE to the OC for some... just come here!

It was organized, safe, and still such a great experience. We have been coming back ever since. If you're wondering what keeps me coming back... First, the service is incredible. There is an older gentleman with salt and pepper hair who is always so professional and kind. He carries himself with such calm confidence and respect. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming, but he truly stands out every single time. Second, the OPTIONS. The spread here is amazing. From sauces to fresh vegetables, noodles, seafood, fruit, and dessert, there is something for everyone. And can we talk about the watermelon? For some reason, it is always perfectly sweet. Every single time. I am a huge shrimp lover, so being able to make my own shrimp in the hot pot is a dream. Fresh, flavorful, and cooked exactly how I like it. It is such a fun experience. Pro tip: Here is the sauce combo I put together and it is chef's kiss. In a bowl add jalapeños, cucumbers, hot chili, chili oil, sesame oil, and ponzu sauce. Then top it with fresh cilantro. It is so fresh, spicy, tangy, and delicious. You will thank me later. If you are looking for a place that is comfortable, not overwhelmingly crowded, and consistently delivers great food and service, this is the place to go. We have been loyal ever since we found it, and it never disappoints.

Quite Frankly it's unbeatable if you do a dollar to food quality to variety ratio. So I went with a Tom Yum base. They had great kimchi here, the hot pot content bar was very atypical of a Malatang place. Cuts of beef were ok, lamb ok. I mean, if you weren't lazy you could pull off the same thing at home, nothing fascinating. 'specially after patronizing Temple City's Migaya Wagyu Shabu Shabu House.....two totally different worlds you can actually taste. The Indonesian Hospitality here was excellent. Servers take extra effort to treat you like a house guest. And guess the highlight is the ice cream cup at the end. Overall, id say this place is better priced at 10% off.
