Needless to say, she did an amazing job! She was very attentive throughout our entire visit and always seemed to top off our drinks before we even had a chance to ask. That's great customer service! The food was fresh and everything looked well maintained. One thing that really stood out to me--and I'm not sure if I was meant to see it--was that when food had been sitting out too long, they actually threw it away and replaced it with fresh food instead of recycling or reusing it. I really appreciated seeing that because it gave me confidence in the freshness and quality of the food. My personal favorite was the salad bar. Everything looked and tasted fresh, with plenty of options to choose from. We usually go to the Pomona location with no issues but we have located closer to Ontario and went to this location for the first time and won't be back. First thing, when we walk in and tried to get drinks most of them weren't working or water. I tried to get myself a lemonade and that was water. Tried to get the vitamin water then the iced tea for my son and again both only had water coming out. So both my son and I drank water. At least the Coke on worked. In the area and was looking for a place to have breakfast. I must say we love how "Juan" prepared our veggie omelette. It was deliciously fantastic ! Prepared to our liking! Not greasy at all! I had dinner at Golden Corral with a friend yesterday. We were able to get in at a discounted rate, so it was about $15, which was good. The first thing we got was salad, and I have to say the salad bar was a mess. There was food outside of the bins, and the lettuce looked pretty wilted. That was disappointing. What was even more disappointing was the utensils. They give them to you in little paper sleeves, and I had to go through about 5 of them before I got a clean set. Four of the knives were dirty, and that's not a good thing at a restaurant. Overall, the food was decent. It was a little loud in there, but I kind of expected that from a casual buffet. Manager had the absolute worst attitude! I visited this establishment to take advantage of the new promotion $2.50 kids meal with adult purchase. I walk in and see no sign for the promotion at all so I ask the host are you honoring the $2.50 kids meal. She tells me let me ask, first red flag! Why wouldn't you know what specials you have in your restaurant. Then comes an over arrogant male manager who instantly starts ringing in on the register. I say do u have the special he responds how many seniors. My dad is a senior citizen but in no shape or form do I look like one. He just keeps asking the same question then I'm with two kids which we were all standing in front of him. He keeps saying how many kids as of he didn't see two. I honestly wanted to leave but we drove pretty far to meet up with my dad for lunch. The lady and man were both rude and not welcoming at all. I don't know if he was upset I knew of the special or what was his problem. While the lady was ringing up my meal she bumped straight into my finger as I held my phone to use Apple Pay. During the transaction her fingernail rammed into my thumb. After paying we sat and I immediately noticed how hot this restaurant temperature was. No cold AC Luke warm throughout the restaurant. Except for an ice cold bathroom. Why would you have guest seating around being hot and all the cool AC was located inside a very dirty bathroom. The food was ok but the desserts were the worst. Stale rock hard cake slices my kiddos and I were unable to find any edible desserts on the table. EVERYTHING WAS HORRIBLE!!!! We come here every year for Thanksgiving. Their turkey is fresh and carved to order. It's juicy and moist. The staff are very nice and patient on this very hectic and crowded day. It's very noisy in here and the line can get very long but they keep the food flowing, the tables clean and the floors swept. Thank you to the hard working employees here for the amazing job and great food. Steaks are still grilled to order and they still have the waffle bar and other carved meats with fresh desserts as well. Can't wait to return next year. I come here all the time with previous reviews and have not once ever had an issue. Today I came in expecting a great relaxing experience like always but unfortunately did not have a good time. the worker named Paty was very rude while I was trying to pay. Manager Saul helped resolve the issue. My only other complaint was the quality of some food was not good as other times. One thing I noticed is the bread pudding I always get has started to taste "soapy". Not sure why or if it's a recipe change but I noticed it when I came with my girlfriend last time. Rudely says it's not working so we show her and ask what can be done, rudely and unprofessionally says what's your phone number so we give her our phone number, again rudely says you don't have a rewards account.... We state again, here is the email, the coupon has not expired, it was sent by Golden Corral to this email, so she then says rudely again, ok what's the email... we provide the email and again system isn't taking it she says there is nothing she can do. I calmly ask ok who can help us then. She says I just told you it's not taking it. I say again who can help us then. She gets even more attitude and states my manager just left right now so no one can help you, if you want help you can call Golden Corral customer service. Ok, so you're saying no one on site here can help? She says no. Ok so can you give us the number. She says no I don't have it! You can Google it! What the heck... at that point we have been pushed past being polite. So of course now we say so you work her at Golden Corral and you can't provide us with the customer service number you just said is the only place that can help us... she says I can't give you something I don't have... wow... I mean heaven forbid should she even lift a finger other than to punch in numbers into the cash register to help a customer... so we say we need to speak to your manager, she huffs, he left and we say so you can't call him either you don't have your manager number either? She says ya I have it but he just left, we say we get it but call him. She says ya you don't have to get upset... wow... you pushed us past upset... then she proceeds to show us the sign than says we refuse the right of service... that's nice... we aren't leaving... and of course who walks in, her manager... we try and explain he decides he doesn't want to look at the email cause now he has a line and asks us to go to table and wait for him there... so we do... 10 min later he comes back and tries to explain that the issue is Golden Corral is going to the APP and you need to have the APP but he's going to honor it and ring us up.... Wow... so they know they have an issue they have rude staff who aren't informed and aren't customer friendly in the least, and all you do is tell the customer to call corporate and or download an app... all I can say is Corporate I hope you read this and take some type of action... very sad start to what should have been a fun festive moment read more

This is a family friendly AYCE buffet with a salad bar and dessert station. We got there when it opened so it wasn't too crowded yet. It's very open with plenty of indoor seating. The staff had wonderful customer service. There's so much variety, something for everyone. I would suggest checking out all of their offerings before choosing. I like that they have both baked potatoes and sweet potatoes. They have breakfast options as well, like pancakes and French toast. They can also make an omelette for you. My least favorite was the taco station; the meat was cold. The steak burger seemed like it had too much bread. Loved the veggie options, Bourbon Street Chicken and stir fry. There's a large variety of desserts. Loved the banana bread! Very moist! With buffets like this, some things are a hit and some are a miss. But, overall, it's tasty and a great value for AYCE. And after walking around the buffet offerings nothing really looked appealing. Almost everything was mislabeled.? And old and neglected looking. Salad station was a sloppy mess. They had a hot dog stand the dogs were on rollers they were obviously old split from over cooking just disgusting looking I observed several people walk by taking a look and left immediately. Also many employees walk by looked at it and kept walking. Did not replace with fresh hot dogs just left them as is. Steaks were way overcooked as well, roast beef was dry looking. Well stocked quality cooked right buffet i have ever been to for a large franchise like this at price point. Tenderloin from the grill was kinda 4 outta 5 atar as it was low qualty cut and chewy. But the desserts are all sweet and they have almost 30+ options. The sweet tea and drinks Were even good today. I found fried fish that wasnt overcooked on the hotline all day. Came here for lunch. The quality of the food has gone downhill. Only ham at the cutting board. No more fried shrimp, grilled pork steaks or sliders. The line up is mostly mac & cheese, potatoes, fried chicken and vegetables. Mostly cheap vegetables and not alot of proteins. The staff is very nice and attentive. The biggest complaint is the volume of the music from the overhead speakers. The music is BLASTING in here. It sounds like a bad night club. I put my ear buds in on Noise Cancelling mode, with the volume at 90% and I could still hear the disco music screaming. Patrons were looking up at the ceiling with confused faces.
