I go to this Noah's weekly and it's so inconsistent. My bagels are either burnt or not toasted at all. For how much these bagels cost it amazes me that the staff would hand out bagels burnt as badly as I have gotten them. read more

I walked in at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, 7/29/22. There was only one customer in there, waiting for her order. I walked up to the cashier to order and was greeted by a young blonde, blue-eyed girl taking my order. There were about five workers behind the counter. I wanted to please order the dozen bagels that came in a box with two shmears. The girl said sorry we can't do that because you have to order it over the phone. There was no sign about ordering on the phone and the sign said it was available until 11AM. She said that they were too busy. I looked around and only saw one customer waiting for her one person order and then, one customer was behind me with 5 - 6 workers behind the counter. I've been in this location before and I've ordered a dozen bagels in a box when it was much busier without any issues. I proceeded to order the single bagels, muffins, and pastries. My order came to about 53.00 dollars as opposed to the usual discounted 12 bagels to a box. I will never go here again because either the cashier girl was too lazy to get the dozen bagels per box or she didn't want to serve me because of the brown color of my skin, which I thought was hypocritical. I have in the past ordered many times from Noah's for my company at the Marina location in San Francisco. It looks like this location in Greenbrae Marin is Redlining Bagel Dozen boxes to people of color and will never come here again. It looks like only white people are treated better from the reviews shown by Alissa, Rebecca C., and Emily. I'm with Jack D., Elisa J., Jack, Joe B., and Ten L. Desiree, and Coco. Not enough staff at lunchtime. This is the second time I had to wait over 20 minutes for a simple bagel and drink. Last time I stood in line, only to have my preferred bagel and drink sell out! Seems to be constantly new staff, slow and inexperienced. Noah's management should realize that since adding hot sandwiches with multiple ingredients, it takes additional time to prepare these items. One person making the sandwiches is simply not enough during the lunch hour rush. After waiting again today, I spotted what looked like my a bagel on the pickup counter. It was stone cold. The counter person (Louis?) said he had called me 5 times - NOT! I was sitting a foot away from the counter, along with several other people. He wasn't calling customer's names, either. Just the food type of their order! How many people answer to "Bagel?" in a bagel shop? Did he offer me a new bagel or at least reheat it? No! Noah's just lost a long time customer. read more

Without question, this is the worst bagel shop in all of Marin County. Ignore any positive reviews below. The real deal is, this bagel shop has been in the Bon Air shopping center since I was in high school, and probably even before that so we are talking 20+ years, along with Road Runner Burrito (next-door) which is even worse. The owners of Bon Air haven't raised the rent in years which is the only reason these businesses remain (plus Noah's is a chain). Noah's Bagels: Line out the door on the weekends with screaming children...and why? Because there are NO other bagel shops in Corte Madera. This Noah's Bagels is generally always dirty. The staff they have employed here couldn't care less about making bagels. They leave trash cans overflowing and garbage all over the shop and outside the store front. They never restock anything or refill the milk containers. The last time I was there, the industrial coffee maker spout was just left open and coffee was pouring out all over the floor. They never get our simple bagel orders right, and they DON'T wash their hands. AVOID. Bagel Street Cafe in Montecito Shopping Center in San Rafael or Terra Linda is only a short drive away and totally worth it for a fantastic bagel!! Went next door for a burrito but a guy was taking twenty minutes to order eight different complicated things for his two rambunctious kids. I needed to get to work. "Oh, I know. I'll grab a lox sandwich at Noah's. That'll be quick." Twenty minutes later, I come out with my somewhat sub-par sandwich and a limp pickle in a wet paper bag. What kind of lunch place staffs Sunday lunchtime with two high-school students? It's not the employees' fault. They're at the point in life where video games, sloppy make-out sessions, Facebook, and/or television probably dominate every thought they have. Noah's is a summer job, most likely, and they probably receive about twenty minutes of training and shitty wages. House of Bagels in San Rafael has the same staff size, but they kick ass. They bust out a better bagel sandwich, with more generous ingredients, on a better bagel, faster and for less money. Noah's just exemplifies cost-cutting chain restaurant mania, and as a result I will never go there again. The only reason for the second star is that I love lox and bagels so much I don't think I could ever 1-star a place that sells it. read more

What happened to you, Noah's? You used to be a great place to grab a nice lunch! Now, every time I visit, you seem to be in disarray. I've been visiting the Noah's Bagels in Bon Air Shopping Center for years. For a while, it was a great place to grab a reasonably priced lunch, but over time, Noah's has gradually slipped off its game. We walked in this past Sunday around noon. The toaster was broken, so they couldn't toast anything. Most of the sandwiches on their menu come with a choice of side: potato salad, cole slaw, or chips. They were out of the potato salad and cole slaw; the only option was chips. There's a cooler next to the register in this particular store that is typically filled with lemonade, blackberry lemonade, and other drinks. The cooler was empty. It was a dismal scene at Noah's Bagels. We walked out. I'm afraid I won't be back. read more

This Noah's really needs to get their act together. 1) It took 15 minutes to place my order even though there were only 3 people in line ahead of me. 2) They were out of everything bagels. Seriously? That's a pretty standard one. 3) I had to wait in a separate line for an additional 5 minutes to pay. 4) I wasn't given a coffee cup when I ordered, so I had to go back to the ordering station to get it after paying. 5) I had to wait for another 25 minutes to get my bagel. The other customers around me were also grumbling about how long their orders were taking. 6) The staff at the registers look harassed and tired. No one was smiling. 7) The kitchen staff looked confused and didn't really seem to be doing much. 8) When I finally got my order it was wrong (untoasted and the wrong spread), but I was too hungry and pressed for time to bother complaining. 9) The veggies on my bagel were underwhelming to say the least. Soggy cucumber and hard, flavorless tomato. The bagel was sloppily put together and difficult to eat because it kept falling apart. 10) On the positive side, at least the tables were clean (likely because no one in there had any food to eat) and there was plenty of coffee available to drink while I waited. I've been to other Noah's Bagels before and really enjoyed the customer service, speed, and quality of ingredients. If this was my first Noah's experience I would not give the chain another chance. Fortunately, I know that there are other franchises who can deliver a great experience. read more

Well I've been coming here on a regular basis before work to have me the Santa Fe breakfast sandwich and a bottled water (yeah I know I'm weird like that lol!!) I really do like the bagels they make and the breakfast sandwich. I typically get the Santa Fe on a 9 grain bagel or an Asiago and it comes with sun dried tomato cream cheese, egg, turkey sausage and the salsa yummy! This combination of ingredients makes this breakfast sandwich a winner!! All the employees that work there are friendly and very nice and always welcome you when you come in and that's pretty cool! HOWEVER I can only give Noah's a 3 star because even though they make a great breakfast sandwich and their prices are reasonable they are hit or miss on how fast they expedite their orders :-/ A few times I was late to work just waiting for my sandwich or had to scarf it down and once I just left because it took them more than 15 minutes and they only had one person taking orders and making food while one of the employees was restocking the coffee station and the other two gals were in the back doing something else than helping out with customers. I'm usually pretty forgiving if this happens occasionally but it's always at least once or twice a week. If this was not an issue I would give them a 4 star review, but they will have to earn the 4th star by fixing this issue! read more

She then thought I was someone else, and then when I told her no one had helped me, she finally asked what I wag looking for and I finally left and told her I wouldn't be back. My team meets in the lot across from Noah's before we depart for our tournaments, 3 times were they not open by the time that they should be. When I ask the person why she said she had to step out for a smoke. GROSS! Got my order, 6 bagels... 1/5 were correct! Last time I went in I ordered a blueberry bagel with plain cream cheese. This Noah's bagel shop is one of the worst ran shops I've ever been to and this is based on several visits, most recently was yesterday. I went there around 9 am to order a 2 breakfast bagels. They were out of Asiago bagels, which is common every time I go but this time they were of plain bagels, tell me how does a bagel shop run out of plain bagels??? It's not a good business strategy to sell crappy bagels via crappier service. We used the Noah's App the night before to order a dozen of Noah's "finest dinner rolls". When I arrived at 7:50 am the line was out the door. I tried to grab the attention of one of the 3 workers who all clearly saw me but chose to ignore me. So I wait in line for 10 minutes. Upon reaching the register I am told to go back to the other counter where I originally tried to get the attention of the "sweethearts" delivering their Oscar award winning version of customer service. After another 5 minutes I get the attention of one person and he gives me the "I can't be bothered attitude" and then he finally gets my order. Ordered a chicken sandwich with avocado. Chose potato salad for my side. No one was in front of me. Waited 10 minutes for my sandwich. I didn't have the bread toasted as I knew it would take longer. I got it to go. When I got to my destination there wasn't any potato salad or pickle. This isn't the first time I've had this issue. Won't be back. Went here at lunchtime, bad time to go because there was a line of half a dozen people and at least 4 or 5 waiting there for their order. As several other reviewers noted, not one smile from the employees and one of the worst places for customer service. While waiting, one woman went back after receiving her bagel because they gave her the wrong cream cheese -- it looked like all they did was scrape off the old stuff and "re-apply" the correct cream cheese. I ordered a lox sandwich with no onions, and a bag of chips instead of potato salad. When I got home, there were NO capers in my sandwich but there were onions. The capers are the part that makes the sandwich and it is part of the NORMAL recipe! To top it off, there were no chips in my bag. In addition, I ordered a baker's dozen and if I didn't know this already, I had to ask if I was supposed to pick out my two cream cheese cartons because the store employee did not say a word. Extremely poor service, no words of welcome or thanks to the customers! Unfortunately, the Noah's bagel shop in Novato is closed. It certainly is NOT worth the effort to go down to Greenbrae to be treated to such horrid service. read more

I ordered a tuna on an everything bagel and not only did I barely get enough tuna to cover half of the bagel, but some of my bagel had been cut away and burned around the edges. Ben is one of the best managers there is, extremely helpful, takes his job seriously and strives to take care of the customer. It's clear Marin County residents are not the easiest to deal with, and many of them can be curt and forget that they're dealing with people in the service industry also trying to make a living. We have Noah's cater for our work a couple times a month and they provide excellent service and great food. read more

The shop is nice and I usually show up early so there is a wide selection of bagels. The reason for the 2 stars is that the cashier who also packed up my large box was laughing at me. There was really nothing that I could identify as the reason, but each time I asked anything or said anything he would get a condescending sneer on his face and start laughing. I ordered pastries and he shoved them all in a bag which led to them looking like hell when I set them out at work. The service here has gone downhill quickly and I would rather pay more at Molly Stones next door when I get bagels and pastries. read more

I was extremely disappointed with the customer service today. There was no lemon available for iced tea. They don't have prepared iced coffee, just said "we don't have iced coffee". noahs bagels rocks! tons of different types of bagels (sourdough, asiago, and onion being a few of my top faves), gourmet bagels, bagel thins, bagel sandwiches, a variety of cream cheeses (lite options available) bagel dogs, really good hot panini sandwiches, soups, and pastries including fun bagel bits! coated in cinnamon sugar or glazed. oh and they even have bagels for dogs. how cute! my only issue is, who says bagels are only a morning food? bagels should be enjoyed at all hours of the day. but due to this "rule" a lot of store locations close super early, like at 6pm. i knew one that closed at 430pm! and by that time their bagel selection is pretty poor. youll only have to choose from like 15 poppy seed or sesame bagels. bleh. but if u like those, lucky you haha read more

09.29.13 with one other at noon We have been to many different Noah's and the experience here destroyed all the good reputation i use to have for this chain bagel store. Ordered one toasted sesame bagel with regular cream cheese and lox and one toasted poppy seed bagel with regular crams cheese and lox and one coffee. My friend gets his coffee and there was no creamer or milk left in the containers so he brings them to the cashier to fill - she ignored him as we are waiting for our order they inform us that they are out of sesame bagels. Ok fine pick another flavor - plain one. We get our order very quickly after that which was a bad sign because I asked for toasted. We open the wrapped bagels to enjoy at the outside seating and surprise a soggy half toasted bagel. Open it up, only to find literally 1 tablespoon spread of cream cheese in each bagel that does not cover the bagel - can't even taste it. Oh and one small piece of lox. What a waste of 11 dollars!!! I have been coming here since I was a child, but now I try to avoid it in the mornings. It should't take over 25 minutes to get a bagel as you are trying to get to work. They are terribly understaffed in the mornings. The line takes forever to get through just to place your order and then to actually receive your order is another process. People leave the lines after waiting a few minutes because they catch on to how slow it is. Bummer. read more

Have been to Noah's Bagels quite a few time. Today I had the signature French Toast bagel. Wow is all I can say. They service has been slow at times, But worth the wait. The staff are always friendly. The bagels are always fresh and very good. The reason they are probaly getting less than 5 stars from other reviews is the typical Marin customer. I came in person to make an order and it was never passed on so I show up and the same young girl that took my order never put it in. It's especially annoying because they didn't answer the phone after 5 different tries in different days so I came in person. Bagel quality used to be so much better. The prices have risen but the quality has gone down dramatically. Also, it seems like each time I've gone they get the order wrong. I agreee with a previous poster who said that Noah's have gone way down hill and this location is right at the bottom! I use to love Noah's but I have now given up on this location. 3 times in the last week I have been there, unloaded my kids from their carseats to find they were out of every bagel we wanted - yes, 3 times this happened at various times of the day, once was at 9am. Blueberry bagels- none, Cinnamon Raisin - none, Plain- none, Asiago Cheese - none! We walked out of that store empty handed. It is a bagel store isn't it???? Now, you could put it down to a bad week but this is a regular occurrence, more often than not, I walk out with either not what I wanted or nothing at all. Seriously, if those bagels are your popular ones, it would make sense to make twice as many and not do as many of the slow sellers but some rocket scientist there hasn't worked that out yet. So, a big thumbs down for this location. If you want a bagel, go somewhere else as this location probably won't have one to sell you anyway. read more

Wow Noah's has been such a great place in the past. Quick fast and an overall 5 star experience. Now something has gone very wrong. I walked in 6 people in line it took 25 minutes to get my order incorrect. So I say oh well just not my day so a couple of day ago I walk in 3 people in line and a 15 minute wait so of us have thing to do like be to work on time! So Noah's things work so much better with the past manager on the job also you should have more staff working. This morning I change my routine and went to a new place. I hope you can become again place with good food and customer service and not remain a place with good food and poor customer service. read more
