Bad attitude by most of the staff. They don't care... about anything maybe. Terrible customer service. The woman who seemed to be the manager was the worst of them. I got attitude for her employee not calling the correct name. @Robert B. - Business Manager I have told you what happened. You have multiple other reviews here with similar complaints. Why should I put more effort into helping you resolve an issue with YOUR store that you are clearly aware of. You have misses your chance to have a loyal, happy customer. Do YOUR job, manage your business.

    Single Bagel with Shmear

very hit or miss, often order a bagel with shmear and less than half the bagel is covered by the shmear. not worth almost $5

New Lox Sandwich from Noah's with no tomatoes, onions, and capers for $10.29. Emailed service line and no response back.

Did a to go order and got home excited for Lox Sandwich. Only thing is they forgot the tomatoes, onions, and capers update: Roberta, Did what you said but never got a response thru the email contact center at Noah

I contemplated writing this review solely because I truly love Noah's and have been enjoying their delicious breakfasts since 2016. However, it must be noted that food quality and service at this location has declined exponentially. Petaluma location might be the way to go. Note they no longer carry honey, and only offer artificial sweeteners for your morning coffee. Coffee tumblers are empty and you have to ask the main desk to brew you some more. Challah recipe has changed and is doughy, eggy and flavorless. And if you were thinking of asking for your order to be remade or getting some type of help, be prepared to be met with annoyance and dry responses. Only warm and welcoming person was the lady at the front desk who took my order - thus the two stars.

I was impressed by the excellent customer service from Jacqueline (I believe that's her name). Her great personality and laughter during our brief chat stood out to me because most of us are stressed out due to the pandemic myself included. She is still going to work though so I want to give her kudos. There weren't many bagels left in the case by the time I arrived. I wanted to get a Baker's Dozen and I let Jacqueline know I tried calling earlier to place an order over the phone. Come to find out I couldn't get through because they were busy and couldn't answer some calls. I inquired about placing an order for pickup and Jacqueline said she strongly encourages people to do so. She made sure my order was accurate and would be ready for pick up the following morning. I picked up my order without a hitch. Thank you for your hard work and dedication especially during these uncertain times. I look forward to ordering more bagels soon.

If I could negative review I would. They gave me a baby sized bagel and Petaluma has regular full sized bagels. This was bs and didn't even compare to what I get almost daily at the other location. Definitely gone down hill at this location. Bagel was bite sized. Oh and to top it off, the bagel is cold when I asked to have it toasted. Straight trash.

I ordered an avocado toast and this was the presentation and amount of avocado they put.Diff from web picture

I ordered an avocado toast based of what it's marketed on their website and DoorDash, it makes you believe it will be a neat full spread when in comparison is this.

"Cream cheese bagel" I guess you have to ask for cream cheese for the ENTIRE BAGEL

The bagel are fresh and reliably good, not bad for a chain. Noahs is usually packed and the lines can be long - but worth the wait.

Bagels and other foods are fine, but "bumbling" is too kind a word to describe the staff. For the love of God, get it together.

Love the French roll - especially when heated up and the cheddar cheese melts into the bread. I order mine with lite dressing, vegetarian with cheddar cheese, small size. Something about the chopped lettuce, the melted cheese, cucumbers, avocado, and the chopped onion satisfies my discerning palate. In addition to the sandwich menu, there's also breakfast items and some ramen type dishes, even chow mein. A very unassuming space with virtually no aesthetic, but the food makes up for lack of design. There are a variety of can and bottle beverages, and a great potato chips selection from "Kettle" brand. Truly a very satisfying meal and all-around experience. Friendly owners that make the food for you normally on hand. On E. Francisco Blvd. in San Rafael, near the car dealerships and just around the corner from Home Depot and the beautiful Super Target store. A great place to stop when you're in the area, you will not regret it. Now take a bag of sandwiches home for your family and neighbors. Ha!

Aside from that, the sandwiches here are soo good, they don't need the pomp and circumstance to get people's attention. They're the epitome of "if you know you know". Their breakfast sandwiches- the bacon, egg and cheese is ridiculously good. I have zero shame in saying I've gone out of my way, multiple days in a row, while pregnant to get a bacon egg and cheese. I don't even live in the area! The owners are the sweetest people you could ever meet. They know their customers. If you're a regular, they know you. If you're new, they'll get to know you and make you feel so welcome. This is a place you gotta try if you've got a hankering for a stupidly good sandwich.

It's long, about a foot, and was steaming hot and crispy with great flavors. I like how it was garnished with fresh arugula. Maybe because we also shared a Bruschetta with our friends, but even two of us couldn't finish it. We also got to sample the pizza our friends ordered. Both were excellent. The only issue was the noise level. At 6pm on a Sunday, it started out energetic, but by the time we left 90 minutes later, my ears were ringing!

really wanted to like this place. I love supporting local, family-run businesses, and I came in…read morewith genuinely good intentions. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst café experiences I've had. From the moment I arrived, the service felt off. I was greeted, but also noticeably stared at in a way that felt judgmental and unwelcoming--never a great first impression in a hospitality setting. Their Wi-Fi was down, and the area has very poor cell service, which essentially made it impossible to work. While outages happen, there was no acknowledgment or apology, and it's a major issue for a café that appears to position itself as a place to sit and work. Ordering was another problem. I asked for a matcha latte, and no follow-up questions were asked--no hot or iced, no milk preference. I had to track the barista down myself to clarify. The drink itself was honestly terrible: extremely bitter, grassy, and undrinkable. I left most of it untouched. At nearly $10, it was also the most expensive (and worst) matcha I've ever had. The biggest issue, however, was how payment was handled. Their POS system was down, and I was asked to pay in cash. I didn't have cash, which is normal in 2026. Instead of apologizing or offering a solution, I was bluntly told to "sit down" and wait--despite explaining that I had a scheduled meeting and needed to leave. At one point, I was told the only way I could leave was by handing over my credit card information to be written down and kept behind the counter. That is completely inappropriate and unsecured, and I refused. The situation became uncomfortable enough that other customers visibly noticed, and at least one couple left because of how rudely staff were speaking to guests. Eventually, I had to call a friend to bring cash just to resolve a $10 charge, which still took unnecessary time due to confusion between staff. I fully understand that small businesses have bad days. Systems go down. Things happen. But hospitality is about how you handle those moments. There was no apology, no accommodation, and no respect for customers' time or boundaries. I hate leaving negative reviews for local businesses, but I cannot recommend this place in good faith--especially when there are nearby cafés that offer good service, functional systems, Wi-Fi, and basic courtesy.

In that sense, it's a good clutch market for those items. The store itself is small but laid out well. I really like the produce that they have outside, it gives small town vibes. Where Nugget lacks is in customer service. I have yet to meet a friendly or happy looking employee. I feel like this is something I've noticed more lately. On my trip today, the man stocking the produce had his cart in the middle of the produce section, so there was really no way to get anything. I asked him if I could slip in and quickly grab a few things, and he made a really off putting comment about if I could see he was working, etc. Yikes. I've also been rung up before where the cashier just is on auto pilot, no hello, no small chit chat. Nugget, you carry things we like, and you're close to our home. Can you please give your employees some customer service training, or some reasons to feel joyful? TIA!
