I was shocked to see this place have such bad reviews. I have been coming to Noah's for years and they have never failed to disappoint. They always have a huge selection of bagels and we usually come in to buy a dozen bagels. The staff is also always kind enough to slice each individual bagel even though they do not need to. They didn't call my name; I watched the guy just toss it on the counter. Waited another 2-3 minutes to get someone's attention to ask if it was my order. They then got my order wrong and when I brought it up they literally got mad at me and were really rude, they definitely need a new manager as this seemed like a toxic work place that is conducive of mistakes. Sad to say I had an unbelievably poor experience at this establishment 12/2. A busy Saturday morning, I can understand the morning rush. But upon entering, NO ONE greeted me or interacted with me at all. I hate to say race played a part, but as an African-American woman in a predominantly Caucasian area, I was completely ignored. Watching every other customer receive some type of greeting or assistance was very unacceptable. I waited for an hour to be acknowledged for a mobile pickup order only to learn "someone else must have picked up your order". They offered to make the order then and there, but I respectfully declined and requested a refund. Wow I had the worst experience at this Noah's bagels, for starters they were completely out of eggs. The lady working was very rude. She was also making calls while she made my food she seemed to be touching her phone then proceeded to make the bagels... not very sanitary. She and was screaming on the phone. I felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable. You can tell the sandwich's we're made with anger and thus did not taste as good as they could of been. This is about holding businesses accountable for the service they provide and train/compensate employees better, so customers who spend their money don't have to pay the price for incorrect order and bad service. Management didn't teach the cashier how to process payment with a phone. After he kept giving me a blank stare instead of asking a manager/employee for assistance with the system, asked me if I had a card. No explanation whether they are no longer taking cards, or if their system is down.... After I got back with my card, no one told me if my bagel was ready. A while later, I had to ask if the bagel sitting on the counter was mine or someone else's. The employee said "It's been sitting there for a while. I don't know". Didn't even attempt to try to check to see if it was my order. So I opened it up, it was soggy and it didn't have what I specifically asked for. I think I might have discovered one of the best lunch deals EVER here today. I'm almost always craving soup for lunch... So today I was in the neighborhood and was psyched to find out they had soup. Not just any soup, four options for $2.99. I ordered the italian wedding soup and it was delicious and packed with ingredients. When I ordered the soup, they let me know it came with whatever bagel I wanted. Wow! Soup and a toasted good grains bagel for $2.99 = awesome! Other places I pay between $3 and $5.50 for only soup! Synopsis: Cheaper Lox, excellent service and friendly staff. I made the mistake of parking on the CVS side of the plaza. Made a walk over to the Wells Fargo side of the plaza and found them. Can't complain, everything happens for a reason and now I won't feel as guilty about walking back to my car lol. I have an obsession with Nova Lox Bagels!!! There's a bagel joint up the street from my house in Terra Linda. That store has a bit more of a selection of bagels but for a much higher price. The Nova Lox meal was 11.50 here and 17 something in TL. Same OJ, cream cheese, and Lox bagel. Noah's bagels stack them with ingredients. Absolutely love that. A full crunch / bite of salmon, cream cheese, tomato, onion, capers and a bag of chips! It's garnished beautifully. The only thing I would complain or tell them to improve on is their toasting method lol. Kim, the cashier was all smiles and super friendly. All in all, I'll be back! * P.S. Oh this place...came in because convenient with work and ordered a bagel with hummus and paid extra for some tomato(?!) anyway order came up - didn't say anything (there were a few others in at the time) and so I finally asked - was told it wasn't mine - and then asked after awhile again - and it was? I wasn't normally a fan of bagels. But then a few weeks ago, someone brought a box of assorted bagels and "shmears" form Noah's. I was HOOKED just like that. The sesame seed bagel was rather delicious. When toasted it is chewy but a little crunchy due to the sesame seeds. AND, the flavor of the sesame just comes out. The plain bagel was just alright. The same goes for the egg bagel. The shmears run the gamut from plain to fruit to vegi and even smoked salmon. -plain: it was just regular cream cheese. Nothing special. -Mango/some other fruit: this was probably my favorite. It was sweet but not overpowering. I love that combination of fruit...even though I don't remember what it was haha. -Vegi: this was a bit weird but it was not bad at all. -Smoked salmon: I like cream cheese. I like smoked salmon. But for some reason, I believe these should never go together...at all. It was my least favorite. Maybe this is because I associate this flavor with a bad experience I had involving a Philadelphia roll...as a side note, cream cheese doesn't belong in sushi either. Noah's loves to help out their community (or any good cause really). Recently,they helped with a fund raiser by donating bagels to a club raising money for african children whose parents have died from HIV/aids. The money went to tuition and uniforms since many schools won't allow students who can't afford uniforms. They donated several trays and bags full of assorted bagels such as egg, jalapeño, asiago, poppy, spinach and cinnamon/sugar. In short: the bagels are rather good, the shmears are creative, Noah's has a big heart and donates to the community, Stop buy for a bagel if you're in the area! read more

Sadly, we went in for one bagel (not even warmed up) and the manager seemed to be having an anxiety reaction. SUNDAY MORNING. She was speaking sternly to the clearly developmentally disabled person that works up front. This was very uncomfortable. I stayed in Kentfield for six weeks. During that time I went to this Noah's once a week, cuz I like a bagel & egg sandwich every now and then. But I don't eat dairy, so when I order, I always say "No cheese," often repeating it to make my point. Out of six visits, they got my order right one time. Four times the sandwich had cheese on it. And one time--I'm not making this up--the sandwich had not only no cheese, but also NO EGGS. They handed me an egg sandwich with no eggs. Worst Noah's in the Bay Area. Add to that the fact that they are always very understaffed which results in long lines for this crap and I recommend going elsewhere.
