I stopped by Noah's Bagels in Pinole yesterday during their last hour of business to pick up a variety of bagels for a group. I was greeted by Gina, whose kindness immediately stood out. She warmly asked how my day was--and she asked in a way that made me feel like she genuinely wanted to know. It felt like I was being seen as a person, not just another customer. Even though I was taking a little extra time to make sure I had everyone's bagel order right, Gina was patient, gracious, and never made me feel rushed. I was also pleasantly surprised that, even close to closing time, there was still a wonderful selection of fresh bagels to choose from. In a time when so many restaurants have raised prices, reduced portions, and frontline employees often absorb the stress and frustrations of the public, genuine kindness can feel all too rare. Gina was a refreshing reminder that exceptional customer service still exists. She truly made my day. And the food? I recently placed a catering order with Noah's Bagels for the first time, and I had such a great experience! I was ordering breakfast for a group of teachers and staff, and not only was it super affordable, but everything was ready right on time when I arrived.
