I hate to do this, I really do, but our dinner last night at Noah's was simply not good. It's a cute little spot but it needs a lot of love. My cloth napkin was ripped, the salt and pepper grinder filthy and cracked. Mostly, the food not good. My pork chop special was flavorless. I don't think they even used salt and pepper before they prepared it. The spackle was mushy and flavorless. My minestrone soup didn't even look like minestrone soup no less taste like it. And what restaurant only has two selections of vodka nowadays? My wife's meal was no better. Neither or us finished our meals. The service was very good however. Our waiter was attentive, and the food came out fairly quickly. Unfortunately, Noah's was a disappointment. Maybe the kitchen was having a bad day. read more

I love to support local businesses that being said I need those businesses to also earn my support. I walked into Noah's at opening and was less than impressed with how dirty the floor was to start with. I ordered the French Toast and Portugesse Sausage excited to try when the plate arrived I was shocked to see one sausage and what appered to be very burnt french toast. When the waitress asked how our food was I was truthful the sausage was very hard to cut with a knife and the french toast was charred. I was given the reason they need to cook it thoroughly. I have photographed many breakfasts at many restaurants and never have I seen French Toast that dark. My wife's breakfast was not any better. She ordered the pepper frittata served thin as a tortilla and had absolutely no flavor. She also ordered home fries that were also way over cooked and did not appear to be very fresh. read more

We were walking around the Boro last Sat night at prime dinner time and happened to pop in to see if we could get a table. Luckily we took the last one- perfect timing! Service was prompt and very nice, great beer selection on tap. I got the homemade fettuccine with pesto/salmon (multiple combinations of meat & sauce choices) it was incredible. My wife got the Asian noodles with veggies/organic chicken, perfect healthy dinner she was hoping for. We couldn't decide so we got our own desserts to share of each LOL Coconut Rice Pudding & Chocolate Pecan cake with an espresso martini WOW it was all sooooo good! My wife and I are staying in Mystic for our honeymoon, and wanted a nice breakfast. I looked on google and saw one picture of the blueberry pancakes at Noah's and knew we had to go. The service was great, and our food was also. I got 2 slices of Challah French toast and 2 scrambled eggs. They were both cooked to perfection, and the coffee was great! My wife had 2 humongous blueberry pancakes and 2 scrambled eggs, and said they were delicious. A great hidden gem! read more

I want to give Noah's 10 stars. We are so pleased we walked upon this charming place in Stonington. The extra special touches are appreciated. The owner places fresh cut flowers from his garden on each table. They freshly make their own bread and bakery products. They smoke their own Canadian bacon on site. The wild blueberry pancakes are exceptional! They even include "real" maple syrup without an up charge. We saw the bartender mixing up some bloody Mary's and decided to try one too...also excellent! The prices are also very affordable even during these challenging times. The staff is helpful and so friendly. Great place in Stonington, CT. read more

honestly my new favorite spot. it's been on my to try list for a while now and i finally went. made a reservation only an hour in advance and so happy i did because by the time of the reservation there was a wait! so cute and you can feel it being a local spot. happy hour is everyday 3-5 and it's worth that. i've heard brunch is the scene! read more

On a brisk March sunny day, we ventured out to the small historic town of Stonington. Being situated on a small peninsula, the old houses are built very close together but most in great condition with interesting architectural features. The downtown stip is short and sweet and lined with many captivating shops but not the tacky cheap tourist type found in so many seaside villages. We decided to stop by the popular Noah's for a late brunch on this Sunday afternoon. On a corner and taking up two small building fronts, you walk in and a few tables, concierge desk and a sweet u shaped bar with some folks eating. A nice busy lady took our name and after taking a short walk up to the nearby town square and back, we were immediately seated at the most perfect little booth that had art deco features. The walls are decorated with many local artist paintings and art photography. Listings descriptions and prices folders are available of the wall. Art Deco lighting, stamped tin ceiling makes for a very colorful, cozy and delightful dining room. Very pleasant waitress served us a very spicy but good house Bloody Mary with plenty of horseradish and worchester sauce! I ordered the regular traditional eggs benedict and partner ordered the huevos rancheros. My eggs were slightly overdone but the hollandaise sauce was definitely homemade, creamy, tasty not too lemony and delicious! The accompanying home fries purepotions was a bit stingy and they were cut small and a too crunchy for my taste. My partner was disappointed in the huevos rancheros, mostly because it was just not what he was expecting. Most places he says, serve this mexican staple covering a large amount of fried tortilla chips, kind of like nachos. These eggs, salsa, cheese etc were simply placed on top of three small corn tacos that was spread with a thin coating of refried beans. It was tasty, he said but not really impressive nor really substantial enough for his American appetite. Interestingly, we then looked up how traditional mexican ranchos are normally served in Mexico and Noah's does it exactly like the old fashioned way! Evidently they have on Tuesday nights a dollar a pop raw oysters night that I wanna check out! A very nice, well run, delicious restaurant overall. read more

Just had lunch here. The salmon dish was good judging by how quickly my brother cleaned his plate. My mothers sweet potato chips were delicious but her roast beef sandwich was difficult to eat because it was too fatty. My arugula pesto fettuccine was blander than expected. I couldn't taste the arugula and the cheese didn't have much taste. The decor of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming. read more

We went there for breakfast at the urging of a Friend of mine that used to eat there a couple of times a month 20 years ago. We were staying in Mystic and on the way to providence so why not? I've been seeing this restaurant pop up here and there when I'm looking for new places to eat around the area. I've been dying to try this place for months and finally did last night. Honestly I am very disappointed, my margarita was all the way watered down. My drink tastes literally like sour water yucky. The food was decent nothing to brag about barely any seasoning on my food. My mashed potatoes didn't even have one speck of pepper ob it. Basically wasted 100 dollars on tasteless drinks and food that I could have made at my own house cheaper. I had the chowder (creamy) which wasn't too creamy. In typical New England style it is not loaded down with thickener like flour, but with smooth milk, excellent ratio of potatoes and clams in it as well. My dining partner had the clear clam chowder, a delicious change of pace and typically New England, more like a broth with clams and potatoes. For a main course I had the broiled scallops salad, WOW! Loved the scallops which were locally caught and the generous serving of greens and other vegetables that accompanied it. My dining partner had the organic cucumber and feta and cheese salad, which he enjoyed. For dessert we split the Pavlova, delightfully light merengue with berries and what tasted like homemade ice cream, yum! If in charming Stonington, run, don't walk, to Noahs. You will not regret it if you want a taste of locally sourced food. We were also pleasantly surprised by the affordable price for a two person light dinner. They also have light tapas like Happy Hour offerings as well. read more

I was not prepared for the excellence encountered at this unassuming little place. We started with some outstanding white wine, and I tried their white clam chowder (superb - and without thickeners) followed by local scallops, breaded and served with mashed potatoes. WOW - what an incredible delight! THEN came the desert.....!!!!! I highly recommend the Maple syrup Pecan Pie - it was every bit as good as the chowder and main dish. Our service was friendly but a little slow. We were a little disappointed that the menu didn't have more to offer (no Benedict's...) but the omelettes that we had were tasty. We made a reservation for Noah's for 9:30 on a Saturday. They told us to get there early so we got there few minutes before. We got in after 9:30 which made me sad inside. But the they made up for it. The waiter was nice but Didn't have anything to offer when I said I had celiac. I got the some eggs and bacon with there home fries. The fires where mid but that was my opinion. The aftermath of it wasn't good though. (I don't blame this on the restaurant) but it made me feel like a turd. Sunday supper was a very nice 3course meal with an app, fish as the entree and dessert . Tortilla pasta ands sauce lacked flavor and needed more sauce. The waiter gave check then remembered I got dessert . He asked if I wanted it. Strange as it was part of Sunday supper. He was not very attentive and had to flag him down to get a second drink. This is the second time we've been to Noah's. Our bill is usually around $100 with appetizers, drinks, two meals, and dessert to go. This time, we were very disappointed with the "specials" dessert called crack pie. It was the tiniest and flattest sized piece of pie that we have ever paid for. It was between $6-7 on the menu, and we expected a lot more. This was definitely not worth the price. Now I'm home, baking dessert myself because that piece of pie wasn't even enough for one person. We made a reservation for Easter brunch. The gentleman that was seating didn't have my name, had a similar name but not mine. Asked us questions like we were lying as apposed to just realizing that whoever took my reservation put the wrong name down. He proceeded to sit us at a hi-top in the bar which wasn't made up like the other reserved tables. At this point he made us feel awkward like we shouldn't have been there. On a good note our waitress was fabulous and the food was great. Just the host (hope he wasn't the owner) didn't seem like a good fit for the job. read more

My wife and I drove 1 hour plus to Noah's last night to celebrate her birthday. Why? Because each time there is memorable. The service is impeccable - greeter, wait staff, Katie L.!!, the ambience - we requested outside and it was beautiful, but always, it's about the food. Absolutely perfect in every way. The wine, the appetizers, the main course and the desserts, all are wonderful. We love the fact that all the fish are fresh, SAME DAY CAUGHT! My husband and I returned to Noah's last night after several years. We'd frequented the place many times over the years and always enjoyed it. During COVID, we eat out often and understand and take into consideration the restrictions and staffing issues causing great difficulties for these places. We tip high for servers' efforts, and visit to support these businesses. That said, this was a disappointment. We were escorted in and given a table near the bar and restroom entrance, when there was an open table near the windows in front, in a bay window type area. We didn't ask to be moved, assuming maybe it was reserved. We kept our masks on unless we were actually putting food or drink in our mouths. We ordered no alcohol, but my husband ordered a house made cream soda ($3). He took a big drink right off and I tried it too. It tasted like sparkling water. I thought to stir it and that brought the syrup to the top, so it was okay, but the bartender couldn't stir it for us? For entrees, we ordered a salad with scallops and asian dressing ($16) and the salmon dinner with jasmine rice and vegetables ($17). The salad was very good with 4 sea scallops cooked perfectly, but the salmon was dry and overcooked, sitting beside rice that was bland, sticky as if old, and nearly cold (with a bit of parsley sprinkled over the top for color). The vegetable was summer squash in a lot of melted butter, so it was good...although there was a little black hair remaining on the plate as I finished. I never mentioned any of this to the waitress. We were never asked how everything was or if we wanted more than the 4 small pieces of warm bread we were initially served before dinner -- we had to ask and got 3 pieces in the second round. When we'd finished, the waitress dropped the bill on the table without a word. She was nice enough, but seemed disinterested. Won't be back again, unfortunately, and we're just happy we didn't bring along friends to enjoy an old favorite place. Sorry, Noah's. But the food and service can still be good, even during a pandemic. It doesn't take much more effort to cook it right and serve it with a smile. read more
