If you are a visitor to NY, choose this hotel! This hotel is small but this was the best hotel we have ever stayed at. We booked this hotel because it was the cheapest one we found. We were lucky that this hotel was a huge win for us! First of all, it is a perfect location because you are a short walk from the subway that is an easy ride to literally all of the tourist spots in the city. It was also an easy location to travel to and from the airport whether it was by car or by subway to go to Penn Station. If you want to eat, just go next door or across the street. You are surrounded by great cuisine. Secondly, whoever designed the hotel room is a genius. They made up for the small size of the room by thinking of all the details. My bf had to get up in the middle of the night and needed a light to find his slippers (which the hotel provides for you) and he just turned on a switch and it was a light under the bed so it just lit the floor. It didn't disturb me and it was perfect to find his slippers! Also, they have chargers everywhere for all of your electronics. The shower was amazing with a rain shower head. Can't beat that. I think the only flaw was that the doors and walls were thin. So you could hear people talking outside of the door as if they were in the room with you. So I suggest bringing you ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. If you are a huge family, I would suggest staying elsewhere that has more space. Since it was only two of us, this worked perfectly. Finally, they provide a lot of services you don't usually get in a small hotel. They have tea, coffee, and water in the lobby every day for you 24/7. They also provide small pastries every morning, first come first serve. They also have a microwave in the lobby if you really need it. Our room had a mini fridge in one of the night stands. Additionally, the roof has a great view with places to sit and hang out. We are definitely staying here if we are ever in the city again. read more

We were visiting from California and were looking for a nice clean spot to stay. The place was very clean and up to date. It isn't that big of a room but it was just fine for my wife and two kids. I'd rather stay in a clean small room like this than a big dirty room. They had wooden floors, big screen tv, touch panel mirror and dual head showers. Free WiFi and coffee and hot chocolate. They also have fresh fruits and pastries but you need to get up early before they are all gone. This hotel was very accommodating and are great with children. They always asked how we are doing when we left and returned. We ate at the Chinese restaurant next door and we were told it was an hour wait. The front desk asked us if we told them we were staying at the hotel and I said yes. We went up to our room and 15 min later the restaurant called us and said our table was ready. (I think the front desk had something to do with our quick table but they didn't say anything about it). When it came time to check out, they reminded us it was 11am check out and they did not rush us, knowing we had little ones we had to get ready. I just came back from a week long stay at NobleDEN. NobleDEN is a small 7 storey boutique hotel. We had two people to a queen room facing the rear of the building. It would be really nice to have the juliet balcony facing Grand Street but it's New York and we really weren't in the room all that much. When I was looking for a place to stay in New York, I also considered a hotel near Times Square. But after doing my research, it was clear that this hotel was located in a far superior location. I would rather stay in an area to experience the New York lifestyle and culture that Little Italy and Chinatown has. I am really glad I chose this location because we probably spent a total of 15 minutes at Times Square and it was the worst part of NYC! I know this place is advertised as between Little Italy and Chinatown, but the real gem is that it's literally two or three blocks to Soho which is a super hip and trendy area. Every corner you turn in the neighbourhood, there's a cool restaurant, cafe and trendy shopping. The room we had was clean, spacious and quiet. I believe it was a wheelchair accessible room so the bathroom was supersized by New York standards. In regards to housekeeping, for some reason they didn't refill our soap or shampoos... but other than that they did a good job of cleaning. There was usually one worker at the front desk, each of whom were pleasant but not overly friendly. There are drawers under the bed which is where you can find the safe (it took me a day to find it). The hotel comes with an ironing board but no iron... I'm guessing you have to request it at the front desk. The rooftop patio is nice but they could really use some lights up there so it can be used at night or umbrellas/cabanas for the day. There was a heatwave during my time there so it was really unusable during the day as there was no shade. The morning pastries were all right but you'll still need something else for breakfast to get through your day. You have to go at 7:30 am to get first dibs. They are still warm at that time. I went down at 8:30 one morning and there was nothing left. And for some weird reason one morning there were apples and bananas... But only one morning during my stay out of a whole week. Perfect in every way. I got the penthouse suite which had a large balcony with a good view of the city. The shower head was 3 times the size of my hand and they also had a handheld shower head. Yay for showers! There was toothbrushes, combs, cotton swabs etc available in the room which was nice. Comfy beds made for a good night of sleep. Very polite front staff. Wow, what an amazing boutique-type hotel. Very modern inside. Comfy bed, I like that's it's firm. Excellent use of space. Very clean. Large TV. Lots of lighting. The young woman at the front desk was really nice and helpful, greeting all guests and answering two phones at the same time. For being crowded, it was pretty fast experience. This is such a cute little boutique hotel! We really enjoyed our time here - it's in this ideal location which is between Little Italy & Chinatown and very close to the LES. The front desk person gave us a room upgrade which we were sooo excited about, but then we went to the room and saw that he just gave us a street view instead of a court view (so that was disappointing lol). The room itself was not too big, but it was very clean and they even give you this cute little stuffed animal. I was happy to see all the toiletries, our bed was really comfortable, and I felt that the staff/front desk people were really helpful. I wish we were able to get extended check-out but they had too many people checking-in :( I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for an affordable option and nothing too extravagant. I stayed here for 5 days while apartment hunting in NYC and totally fell in love with the location. Nobleden sits on the crux of Chinatown and Little Italy, which made for the perfect meal times. I read on trip advisor that at the rooms were big. This is not the case . I should mention they do have 3 bigger rooms available, but they were sold out, so we had to settle for a smaller one. This didn't pose a big problem, but it's worth mentioning. The pastries and coffee in the morning make a thoughtful touch, not to mention the friendly staff. Finally, the hotel is closely following the social distancing guidelines with sanitizer at the entrance, disinfectant to spray on your shoes, enforcing masks in all the common spaces providing a great deal of peace of mind. Oooh! I almost forgot to mention the cute Monkey teddy that greets you as you arrive at the hotel, which I called ManHan Monk (short for Manhattan Monkey). Disapppointed by their customer service. I made a reservation and had to cancel 48 hours beforehand. I understand they have a 72 hour policy, but I asked to speak with a manager twice to accommodate in order to move this reservation. Did not even get a call or message back. Just a confirmation that they've charged me the full rate. It's been three days. I love and appreciate great hotels -- and the best hotels go above and beyond to acquire and keep customers. I frequent New York a lot and if they had just attempted to make an effort, I would have stayed at this hotel next time. But now, they've lost me. read more

Anytime an establishment that's in the Hospitality field refuses to let a patron use the bathroom; that's a big problem. I was told the reason I couldn't use the bathroom is because the bathrooms in this establishment are located on customer floors. Whether or not this is true; you never know the impact of the person you're declining. Who's to say you didn't turn down a future customer who never happened to know your business existed until he walked through the doors? & Then to read on Yelp you've done this to someone before just goes to show some type of re-evaluation needs to go on. So I am going to plagiarize a bit from a review 3 years ago because it describes our experience well --- which is also amazing since it shows consistency over years of time. We stayed in Manhattan mid-jan 2020 at this hotel. Though I was unfamiliar with the the hotel I had found a good deal online where it was also rated highly by previous guests. In the heart of Little Italy/Chinatown the hotel is surrounded by the hustle and bustle of NYC and next to fantastic Italian restaurants, a great Malaysian across the street and other cuisines nearby. The rooms looked new, modern, chick feel, spotless, meticulously clean and fresh. Room was painted with at least 4 colors, not bland mono-color. The shower was of an acrylic (I guess) wall and floor and much more appealing and clean compared to the usual tile and grout materials in baths. The room size reminded me of small-ish rooms I've stayed in Asia and Europe - hence the 'Den' in the hotel name. Beds where comfortable with storage drawers underneath and had an electronic safe too. Customer attention by Morgan (general manager) and the on duty staff was great - all helpful, courteous, and actually cheerful! Also, they know the area and had very good restaurant recommendations near the hotel. And last, should you forget something, like I did.... they promptly and safely packaged it and shipped over night (my expense of course). Excellent hotel all the way around. read more

Great little room with all the amenities you need for a short stay in NYC. Everything (right now) feels really new / clean / modern so you certainly can't go wrong booking this place. It could have just been the placement of my room, but it was also extremely quiet. Absolutely no street noise and I was only on the 3rd floor. My only quibble is with the early check-in policy. I got there around 1pm, official check-in time is at 3. Every other hotel I've stayed in, from the nicest to the crappiest, will try and accommodate you if they have available rooms. NobleDEN had available rooms as they were happy to check me in early - for a $25 fee! It just felt very nickel/dimey, especially since the room is sitting clean/empty anyway. read more

This place is awesome! I rarely stay in luxury-esque hotels while travelling, but we were only in town for a night for NYE and decided to crash here. The price is pretty reasonable and in a great location (Lower East Side/Chinatown/Little Italy are all within blocks), so I was surprised we were able to get a booking. The front desk is staffed with very helpful and friendly agents and it's 24/7, so you can seemingly check in whenever. They will hold your bags and give you a slip if you check out and want to leave your stuff behind. They leave it in the front lobby, which seemed a bit disconcerting, but they tie a big lock around the bags and since it's always staffed, I wasn't worried about anyone performing the five finger discount on our luggage. Free coffee/cocoa (in packets) 24/7 as well in the lobby. No public bathroom; they must have an agreement with Hometown BBQ next door, as your directed to use their facilities if you're in the hotel lobby. The lobby is really nice with a lot of seating and very comfortable chairs to sit in. The agent even waited to make sure my wife found the bathroom ok (left his station for a second and watched her go the right way). I liked that. The room is like a high end studio apartment. We had the king room, but we didn't feel like we were tripping over each other. Good lighting inside too; I particularly liked the mirror lighting (you have to press/hold the power button on the front to activate/deactivate it). The shower is very European; has a rainfall showerhead and a sprayer on the side too. Everything was just very clean. You get slippers to wear around the room too (no robe). Very good amenities too, like a toothbrush and comb if you forget your stuff. There was no iron in the room, but not something that would hurt my review. I wish we stayed here more nights, it was so nice. Checkout is 11am. The staff starts vacuuming around 9:30-10am, so you will hear them outside. You press a button near your door (your door card also activates the power inside the room, there's a slot you leave it in when you walk through) to indicate if you want service or not. There seems to be a facilities/operations manager who walks around and manages the service staff, so it seems wait times would be very low (we didn't need anything, but I imagine that's the case). I highly recommend this great hotel if you are staying over a few nights in NYC and need a clean and modern establishment near all of the major hotspots in the city. read more

This hotel is such a hidden gem! Let me first start of by talking about the great location - it's right on the border of Little Italy and Chinatown. That means that there were great restaurants nearby! As far as the hotel itself, I was blown away by the overall quality! The rooms were a great size, and don't get me started on the shower! I can honestly say that I have never had a better shower experience in my life. The HUGE rain shower head was a total game changer for me. Aside from that, the rooftop deck offered great views and totally completed one of the best hotel experiences that I have ever experienced for the price. Great place to spend the night! We stayed on the 7the floor and the view was amazing. I could even see the WTC from bed! The bed was super comfortable I believe it was bigger than a king sized bed! Comfortable and warm and spacious. The walk in shower had a really cool overhead faucet and a detachable part on the wall if the overhead rain-fall esque thing isn't your style. The toilet was separate from the room by a sliding door while the sink was in the general room, but the mirror gave it a cove kind of feel. If you touch the mirror it turns on and the light is so bright it felt like professional lighting when I was doing makeup. There was also a balcony with chairs so we could sunbathe(ya know, if it wasn't 35°F and raining in the winter) Definitely reccomend!!!!!! read more

My boyfriend and I were coming up to DC for a weekday show of Hamilton and needed a hotel that had complimentary wifi and a decent amount of space in the rooms as we both had to work out of the hotel. My boyfriend found a decent deal for this hotel and in looking at the pictures it seemed to have a good amount of space. Check in was easy. We got there about 10/10:30 at night. My boyfriend didn't realize what area the hotel was in when he booked it (how far from the theater district), but i like the area. I love chinatown and little italy (I used to live in Jersey City and came into NYC a lot). The area has a bunch of restaurants and you are fairly central to a few different subway stops for different lines. The hotel was very clean. The beds were extremely comfy. At first I thought the bed was too firm, but after 30 secs, it felt great. A great amount of support for those of us with back issues! We had a room with two full or queen beds. We decided that each of us would get the opportunity to starfish for the next two nights. We had a balcony that was huge, though overlooking nothing but backs of other buildings and fire escapes. There was a bench out there, but that's it. It was also too cold to really stay out there. Note that any bags left near the balcony door or other window will be cold from air coming through. I would have given the hotel 4 stars, but the makeup of the room is very weird. If it's more than you and your significant other, be warned. There is no separation between the shower, sink and the rest of the room. There is a sliding door separating the toilet, but everything else if VERY open. However, this is the best shower I have ever experienced. HUGE rain shower head. PLUS a hand held shower head that had awesome water pressure. Also, free pastries from the bakery across the street in the morning downstairs in the coffee/business computer area. I would definitely stay here again. read more

Because of the industry I work in, I do a lot of day trips to New York from Cali. I never really had the chance to actually stay overnight .. until a couple weeks ago. I'm super glad that my friend found this little gem in the middle of Little Italy and Chinatown. It was in the perfect location - pretty much in the heart of everywhere I had on my bookmarked list. It was walking distance from Golden Steamer (known for pumpkin buns,) Joe's Steam Rice Roll (get the Shrimp Party roll,) Alimama (taro munchkkin mochi donuts, Wah Fung No1 ( for that roasted duck and pork,) Nyonya (impeccable Malaysian food just right across the street,) and even Lil Frankie's (for amazing Italian food.) Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly faces. They offer free coffee and tea in their pantry area. They even provide freshly baked and individually wrapped pastries on some days. They do use an honor system for buying sodas from their mini fridge, as well. Since New York always has unexpected weather, umbrellas are also offered if you forget to bring yours or don't want to buy one during your stay. Kyun and every staff member we've encountered exemplified quality customer service from check-in to check-out. As for the room, we had a beautiful view of the street. I spent some mornings people watching and soaking in the sun. The windows are set from floor to ceiling, and their blak out curtains definite did us justice. There's a mini fridge provided in the room. They even have a beautiful mirror with the best lighting, which was perfect for us to use when we got ready. Even the shower head was amazing, not the type to shoot out at you, but the type to fall gently like a rainfall. They even have a cute rooftop, where you can hang out at and enjoy the sunrise, sunset, and night views. If I make my way back down to New York, I would definitely recommend NobelDen. They're at a prime location and their service is unforgettable! read more

Marketed as a new chic boutique hotel in Little Italy, this place is really more of a Chinatown location, although Little Italy starts around the corner. You have to walk through rows and streets filled with open-market style Chinese groceries and live seafood crawling out of the baskets before you can step off the crowded sidewalk into a modern world of NobleDEN. The best thing about it is that it's new and clean. You have to experience both while it lasts. The rooms are contemporary with hi-tech-appointed features that start with inserting your key-card into a hub by the entrance to power up your room. Then you get recessed lightning under the sink and contouring the king bed. You touch up a mirror over the sink to turn on the light. An amazing shower head, a large rectangular fixture on the shower sealing, gives you a rain-like shower. It's things like that make all the difference. The mattress on the bed is quite firm, which I love. Overall, great stay in the city. Highly recommend. read more

First things first, this is a really nice modern & hip place to stay in NYC. Rooms - The rooms are what you would expect from a hotel in NYC, small but a good use of space. Only the toilet & shower are closed off with doors while the rest of the amenities are spread throughout the room. Rooms come with built-in USB ports so you can charge your accessories with just a USB cable which is very convenient when you forget your charger, like I did! Good location not far from the subway Noise Level - I've stayed in a handful of NYC hotels and this one was one of the quietest. Literally you could barely hear any street level noise. Pillows - Not my favorite, a little too firm for my liking. Shower - Top notch to say the least. Overhead unit and a handheld shower head.
