I was here last night to celebrate my sisters birthday party; while my portion was good I would have to say it was not the type of good that would make 1 hour and 25 minutes waiting time worth it. I really believe the wait time is ridiculous. In addition, I think this place is overpriced for the food they serve. Other then that we had a nice time. The waiters were helpful and the place has a warm & cozy vibe.

Yes! Nobo gets it. From service to food, everything is great. The past couple times we went, I left wishing for more flavor. We decided to give the place another try and I'm so glad we did. The fact that they have a liquor license also helps. Anyhow, we decided to get a few plates to share and one main. We also asked the waitress for her recommendations. We got the arugula and mushroom salad, the short rib bokembap, the crisp salumi flatbread and the short rib main dish. Everything was great, but the star of the show was the crisp salumi flatbread. Amazing flavor for the cured meats and the cauliflower purée. Loved the perfect egg mixed with the spicy rice of the bokembap. Just wished that there was more heat on the bokembap. Seemed to be missing the kimchi, but was told that's how it's prepared now. My husband loved the short rib main dish. Perfectly cooked. Also, the service was amazing. Super attentive and helpful. Knowledgeable about the food, etc.

They have it all the bear ever! Nobo is the place to eat!

Waiters are very professional, tables are always clean, chef Josh is a pleasant man as well- walks around every hour to ask guests how their meal is. Represents a professional business as opposed to these half-ass kosher restaurants in Brooklyn (Take some notes!!!) Their variety of food is consumer friendly and I'll certainly say that their steaks are cooked to perfection. Love this place & will be a permanent customer.

I think this is the best places around for unusual cuisine. It's not always exactly my taste, but it's never dull. Service is amazing!

Tables of young men, looks like a yeshiva (Orthodox Jewish school) must be nearby. I order shawarma platter: shawarma, several salads, fries. Spouse orders a shawarma sandwich. Salads are spot-on: sautéed onions, sautéed mushrooms, chickpeas, Israeli salad, red cabbage salad, guacamole. Each lovingly and perfectly prepared. Chicken shawarma is flavorful, could have been moister but no complaints. Service friendly and efficient. Value typical for Kosher, $44 for our meals & drinks. Would definitely recommend and return

It was a sweltering night and they immediately brought over a huge pitcher of water which was most appreciated. Ample street parking. Go for the great food and service. I had in my mind a superior dining experience in Israel, a similar schnitzel-in-pita storefront in Hod HaSharon. There, because it's Israel, every aspect was superior: fresh, crispy, assortment of salads, and super fast. I was hoping for something similar here. Orange and chrome mid-century modern decor. Simple menu. Good service. Clean. Super impressed at first glance. I got schnitzel in pita, spouse got same in laffa bread, daughter got schawarma in laffa. All delicious and fresh. Service was friendly. It took a few minutes to get our order and they were not particularly busy, luckily we were not in a rush. Once the food came, it was worth the short wait! Bottom line: it's not Hod HaSharon, but pretty darn good for Teaneck! Would definitely return here! The only negative is that parking seems to be an issue. We visited this restaurant at 12 noon on a Sunday and it was impossible to park. I don't know where the people in all these cars were shopping, I sure didn't see a high amount of foot traffic. I have a feeling people just parked and left their cars, maybe attending an event elsewhere. So if you visit: plan time to park and walk!
