Popcorn shrimp tempura with the creamy spicy sauce
    Arthur E.

Went during a Thursday tennis outing for a snack - or second lunch really. Wait is pretty long - you have to put your name on the waitlist in person and you get text messaged. You can see your place in line with the link in the text message. At 1:30 pm, was a 1.5 hr wait for 2. When the table was ready - was sat immediately. Grabbed a couple things - miso soup, salmon nigiri sushi, yellowtail jalapeño sashimi, and the miso black cod. Was up to the Nobu standard of food - with the Nobu price haha. But compared to the food options at the tennis tournament, think it's worth splurging a little for better tasting food (there's a reason we needed a second lunch). Will be back on Sunday for more tennis and Nobu - but with the bros this time!

Upscale, beautiful, with friendly staff who ensures your taken care. The food here and the sushi chef were amazing! We opted for recommendations by our chef since it was our first time. Every dish recommended had so much flavor with the exception of the shrimp, this dish was very average and would have likely been better with something else in its place. Otherwise would highly recommend!

    Menu (June 2026)

Nobu really delivered one of the most memorable dining experiences. Well worth it! Don't listen to the haters - it really is excellent and you can definitely order in a way that doesn't cost you crazy amounts of money. -Yellowtail jalapeño sashimi was excellent! 10/10 -Edamame was good. -Miso cod was fantastic! (For 2 people, it was a lot of food!) -California roll was good. -Wagyu sliders were AWESOME! Highly recommend. -Gelato was solid and refreshing for dessert. Our waiter was extremely kind and not uptight which made the dining experience really enjoyable. She navigated us through the menu and was extremely attentive (as were everyone else). Really nice staff. The location is really neat for a Nobu - it overlooks the tennis court while giving you an almost "casual/elegant" experience. Not stuffy at all...but I still would dress nicely for sure. Will definitely be back for another special occasion. Can't wait to try the shrimp tempura, the tennis ball dessert, and the Nobu style tacos...and so many other things. Oh yeah, ENTER THROUGH GATE #2 (off Washington)!!! GPS will lead you astray.

    Tasty!

Five stars for overall experience for my husbands birthday. He absolutely loved it. 4 1/2 stars for the food because some things were great and some things could use a little improvement. The black cod was huge for $48 however, it wasn't blackened like some of the pictures we saw on yelp of others therefore it lacked flavor . The rolls were pretty average and lacked the presentation that the other items had. However , the rolls were very reasonable for Nobu pricing. The yellowtail, spicy tuna on the rice cake, the peppers, and both desserts were outstanding along with our server. Jacqueline was welcoming, sweet, and very helpful. We loved her service. However, the bus people were picking up our plates every two seconds even with food still on them. I was having to guard my plates so they would not take them that was extremely annoying. I hope they can iron that out because it's a skill to know when to leave the plates and when to take them. Over service can be just as bad as under service. We absolutely loved the valet service. This is the first time when I came to get my car it was waiting for me with all the doors open, amazing ! They do have free valet parking and free shuttle to the restaurant. Besides a few minor details, it was a five star evening all the way and we will definitely be back. Also, I wanted to stay we stayed away because everyone was saying how expensive it was, but there were plenty of things that were reasonable on the menu so you don't have to spend an arm and a leg to eat there give it a try, especially for a special occasion.

Nothing Short of Great Restaurant. We all know Nobu's you expect nothing but the best. FRESH fish surprisingly being in the desert. Our servers were amazing, 10 out of 10. The sushi melted in your mouth like butter. It's kind of hard to find the restaurant entrance as you have to Valet then ask bunch of people to get redirected to the elevator. There were signs but by the time we noticed we had arrived. Other then that the restaurant was well and highly recommended.

Lobster Taco and three others, Tuna, Salmon, Beef on aka seasonal Happy Hour $35, really good

YELP SHORT ANSWER: Yes, Make reservations, it is Nubo, it amazing, and it is rather expensive and that is because it is worth it, yet there is a seasonal Tanoshi (Happy) Hour which offers a lot so worth checking out. Tanoshi Hour Wednesday - Sunday 5pm - 6pm LOCATION: hiding in the main entrance of the Indian Wells Tennis Garden home to the BNP Paribas Open happening each March, in 2026 March 1-15. Use main entry is off of Washington not matter what you app tells you. FACILITY: Pretty incredible property, especially if you have never visited. I have been here watching the tournament but never got in Nubo as it's a busy place during the tournament as they have special seating to view the action. Now Nubo is open your round, hope it stays that was so please list. MENU: Simple, decide what you want in advance helps, use Yelp and understand there is a not published seasonal Tanoshi Hour in the off season and it's great. FOOD PREP: Hard to get much better, consistent, beautiful, Pavlov inspiring platings. FOOD QUALITY: Yes, ring the bell on everything we've tired. Flavors need to be enjoyed, it's not just food, complex things happening in my mouth, TMI sorry about that! LIBATIONS: Wonderfully created and the drinks on the Tanoshi Hour menu provide a good test. Guessing I could destroy my Amex at the bar then a Uber home. WAITSTAFF: Professional, kind, not judgmental, and there to answer your questions. Also very entertaining as it pertains to the Nubo brand and dishes. OVERALL VALUE: All depends on your perspective. Dinner for two was about $300 with tip but seemed like a great value to be. TIP: I'd say pick a couple of items and just go with this, Waygu and beef were exceptional and on my list for our next visit.

What a treat! Thank goodness this restaurant is still here after all these years and super busy. Waited a while but was able to get a nice view of the courts I could eat 10 of these lil tacos. Salmon was cooked beautifully with fun crispy spinach. Shrimp was a lil spicy and succulent. New style sashimi has so much flavor that you can never go wrong with this dish

Sat at the bar with great service. Great recommendations. The lamb chops were really good with lot of flavor. The shrimp was just ok with lot of vegetables. Dessert was good. I wasnt that hungry this night. The location is beautiful. GPS may take you a funky way. The gates were all closed except at the main entrance ig. I just kept going around the street until I could find an open entrance. There are several ppl along the way to help guide you to get to the restaurant since it is above the tennis courts. There are many beautiful palm trees along the path.

This place blew us away. From the service to the vibe inside the actual restaurant. We hit it off with our server who wasn't even our server, she was great. But the food..... oh my goodness.. the cooked fish, raw fish, the off menu tempura.... We had such a great day 0 here. This was our pre Chris Lake at the campsite meal and it did not disappoint.

Tacos - Wagyu, salmon, lobster, tuna

Nobu Indian Wells lived up to the hype for us. When we called after not seeing an ideal reservation time on OpenTable, the hostess answered immediately and accommodated us with a reservation that weekend. Service was outstanding, prompt, friendly. Our server explained the menu in full and provided recommendations. The staff are extremely attentive especially when it comes to clearing plates or refilling drinks. For food, we really stuck to the hot side of the menu, it was incredibly filling for two people, see below: Tacos - we tried all tacos: lobster, salmon, tuna, and wagyu and each were fantastic, a great way to start the meal. Recommend! Wagyu Sliders - these were incredibly juicy and flavorful, surprisingly big for sliders too. Highly recommend! Creamy Rock Shrimp Tempura - melt in your mouth, great flavor, perfect to share. Highly recommend! Eggplant Spicy Miso - amazing, incredibly decadent, we couldn't finish it but it was so good. Highly recommend! Gyoza Special - uniquely flavorful, but missed the mark a little, almost tasted like they were made too far in advance. Don't recommend. Prime Ribeye w/ Truffle Butter - cooked perfectly medium rare, truffle butter was not overwhelming at all. Highly recommend! Miso Soup - I would've ordered 5 if I could've lol, so yum. Cucumber Roll - very refreshing way to end the meal after a lot of heavy, decadent dishes. Recommend! Lychee Martini - amazing, crisp, light, just get one (or two!). It was also cool to overlook the tennis courts, the vibe inside is really nice, not overwhelmingly loud either. Check it out!

Beautiful experience. Came here for our valentines date. Food was amazing, the food and the drinks were beautifully displayed. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Definitely a calm and comfortable experience sitting at the bar.

    Best seat in the house

We sit at the bar because Ricky is the best bartender in the Valley. The food is always the best and so is the experience.

Left: Yellowtail jalapeño cut roll, nigiri: octopus, bluefin Toro, yellowtail, and sweet shrimp.

My husband and I came here on a Saturday evening. Upon arrival, complimentary valet is provided. The restaurant is inside the Tennis Club, on the second floor. We had a reservation and was received by the host. We didn't appreciate that we didn't get a welcome greeting but instead she told us that they needed the table back by 8:30p. This is why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. Our server, Frank was very welcoming, however. He gave us his recommendations and all the plates were delicious! The restaurant is smaller than the Malibu location and prices ranged between $16-$58 per entree to give you an idea. Coming here was definitely a nice experience and good place for date night.

Being there at 4:30pm and being the first and only customers we were greeted with 15 minutes of being ignored with some guy behind the counter being a dick. Not sure what the problem was but it became very apparent they did not want to serve us and hoped we left. Some other guy came up finally and took our order and got us water. LOCATION: very nice, located on the lower lobby of the Renaissance Resort. FACILITY: excellent, clean, and authentic similar to a small bar you'd find in Japan. MENU: resort expensive but we had a few days to enjoy relaxing at the resort. I was not so concerned with the cost, rather the customer service and the quality of the food both not happening here. FOOD PREP: ordered hamachi sashimi, $26 and plate appeared with such a small amount it looked like a joke. About 1/3 the size of nearby Japanese restaurants. FOOD QUALITY: some of the worst, fishy smelling hamachi I have ever had. Maybe the guy was trying to kill us. It had so much lemon juice on top it did not even taste like hamachi... one and done we did not finish the small portion served just paid our bill and walked away, yes we did leave a nice tip. LIBATIONS: we did not try here, thankfully. WAITSTAFF: terrible, if you trained someone to be a jerk, well the lead guy must have graduated with honors. OVERALL VALUE: so not worth it and I know that is not the intent of this great resort but they have a serious F&B staffing problem as least at Glo Sushi on that day. TIP: avoid unless they get their stinky fish act together. I must add, Autumn who was kind enough to check us out was a great ambassador to the resort and brand, she was great and we followed her to The Place and ended up having a great time with great food.
