I visited Nod Hill on several occasions and enjoyed it each time. Not just the beer but the atmosphere, entertainment, staff and fellow guests have all been great. I am looking forward to trying the Bourbon barrel aged imperial stout that I brought home. Nod Hill participated in the 2025 CT Beer Passport BOGO so the hour trip here was well worth it.

One of our gems in Connecticut. Great beer, great food trucks, & a wonderful outdoor setting that feels like a gathering place for the community. Whether you're meeting friends, listening to live music, or just enjoying a beautiful afternoon, Nod Hill Brewery never disappoints. We always leave looking forward to our next visit.

I think this place is pretty cool! They have a decent parking lot that's between their indoor brewery/tap room & outdoor beer garden/stage area. They had a food truck on either end when I came by, which was cool. I wanted to check out the music, so I got a drink from the sweet guys at the bar trailer outside. I'm a dark beer drinker and they didn't have any for the summer, but they do have a bunch of non-alcoholic beverages, too, so I enjoyed a local kombucha. The sound was decent and there was plenty of seating. It's family friendly outside, so I got a kick out of all the kiddos dancing in the pebbles.

Great fun venue with live music. The BBQ truck was amazing. We loved the pulled pork and French Fries. The beer is great. If you are in the area , don't miss the fun.

Chipotle stout? Yummmmmm. Had a great Sunday afternoon date here with the hubz. They have ample cozy seating and lots of board game options! Cute Latin American food truck outside if you're hungry. Lots of dark ale & stout options. Would definitely come back!

It's got some amazing beer collection and a nice sit out area especially in the fall. My favorite place to grab a drink during the fall.

Absolutely wonderful brewery. My friend and I stopped in here last weekend just before they closed and sampled their kombucha and rose. Such a great vibe inside and they support Ukraine, I so wish I lived closer so I could visit here more often. Will have to come back one day to check out their outdoor beer garden and entertainment they have there, it looks really nice.

Great beer. Nice location and staff. Too many out of control kids, but that's not the brewery's fault.

Ask the Community - Nod Hill Brewery

    Are kids allowed?

Yes! The only thing is the times I've been I haven't seen many kids. The brewery space isn't huge as perhaps other breweries. But they are welcome!

    Is it dog friendly?

No, but the people there are friendly!

Every time I get it, without fail, the server informs me that it is a big portion. And I say YES. The beef rib is juicy, meaty, fall-off the bone tender, oily, and you just get hit with that wave of immediate satisfaction on first bite. That said, it is pricey so it's more of an experience than a casual dinner. The rest of the food is decent. Also like the corn bread.

When we arrived around 330 on a Saturday afternoon the main indoor area was already packed. We were a bit disappointed because the band sounded great. We ended up sitting in the enclosed outdoor space with our group of 4 adults. Despite the cold temperature outside and the heavy rain, we were cozy and warm until we left around 630 PM. Our group tried many of the beers on the menu. Counting the days was my favorite of the beers that I tried and Dunkelweiss was a close second ! I loved all the fun beer names. We ordered the giant pretzels to share while we casually enjoyed our beers. We ended up ordering the cheese pizza and buffalo chicken pizza. The buff chix pizza was very salty. I'd personally pass on that one on our next visit. Overall great visit and will return when in the area !
