I'm so disappointed to say that today I've experienced the worst pedicure of my life. I had a 4:00pm appointment that I booked online. The technician that I had was very young, kept calling me "bro", and was literally playing a video game on his phone while he was giving me a pedicure! I had yellow polish on my toes from the last pedicure I had here. The technician was scrubbing them with a tool and I told him that it was regular polish, not shellac. He said I know, and kept going over them with this metal tool, which was a little painful. Then he cut my toenails with the polish still on, removed the polish, and barely filed my toenails. He tried scrubbing my feet awkwardly, which was very ticklish so he just stopped. Then he took some water out of the foot bath and put it all over my legs and rubbed them down with a scrub and then removed it. I received no lotion, and then he placed hot towels on each of my feet. The technician said that something bit him and went into the back room for a while. When he returned he was playing the game on his phone. I felt like I was in a Seinfeld episode. There were no other customers or employees working when I received my pedicure which was strange because they are usually busy and it was only 4:00. When the nail tech painted my toenails it was very rushed, he barely let the base coat dry and he began applying the polish. I've included pictures so you can see the terrible paint job, my dry feet and yellow nail polish still visible from my last appointment. I also have a rash from the aggressive scrubbing. I let the polish dry under one of the dryers but it was hard to see the details due to dim lighting. When I got out to my car in the sun I was very disappointed. My feet were much better off BEFORE this pedicure.

The dip nail color options was apparently limited to only a very small number of different rings, of which there were hardly any neutrals. At one point, I asked to see a book that was up at the front for more color options and was told no, because it was the same colors as what I had already. So they had THREE different display sets of the SAME colors.... When it came time, they didn't even have the color I wanted in stock! The worst and why I am absolutely most disappointed (and no, it's not that my manicure is already chipped to heck) - I asked MULTIPLE times to not set my dip manicure with UV Gel. Multiple!!! Then, as the manicurist is pulling out her little UV bases, I asked again - "please can you set the dip without the UV?" And she said yes, then got up to grab something, comes back, puts on the first coat and goes "OK, put in the light". WTF. I asked at least 5 times to NOT have UV and even asked for clarification BEFORE the manicure started if they could set it without UV and was told yes. Lastly, it was beyond tactless to have the manicurist hover over me as I paid when the tip screen came on. Would not recommend this salon for a dip manicure if my life depended on it.

The women including myself were getting just a manicure with gel. The women I had was Great. Although she didn't talk unless she wanted me to move my hand a special way, she did a Great job. The other girls in our group had good workers except one- our daughter had an older man doing her nails - he cut he 3x she was even bleeding still when we left and her nails were not good- chipped after a couple of days. If you go stay on the safe side ask for a female or the younger guy - he was really good.

All three of us had birthdays in August, so it was the perfect opportunity to have a treat as well. Manicures and pedicures are not typically my thing, so I didn't readily have someplace in mind. I did a Google and Yelp search to find a place that had good reviews. I came across Posh Nails off of US Highway 17 in Garner and decided to go there and see if they allow walk-ins. Luckily, when I arrived they had availability and did allow walk-ins so the three of us were seated right away for our pedicures. It's a nice set up at this facility. They also have free beverages available while you're being serviced. Christina was my nail technician. She did a great job with my pedicure and my manicure. My parents pedicure and manicure also went well. There were two things that I observed during my visit that threw me for a loop. (1) I was unaware of an additional service charge separate from the cost for the manicure and the pedicure. My first thought was that the beverages aren't really free, and there's a secret charge for the beverages but when I inquired about what it was for, I was told it's because I had two different services done. That struck me as very odd. Some nail salons actually give you a discount if you're having a combination manicure and pedicure service. This was the very first time that I heard of a service charge because I had two services done instead of one. I was eager to see the bill so that I could see exactly how it was listed, but conveniently enough, I did not receive an itemized bill just a credit card receipt. (2) My technician set up a small fan so that I could have my nails dried before I left the facility; however, my mother's technician tried to have my mom leave right after he finished painting her nails without drying them first. It took my father's technician to point out to my mother's technician that he needed to dry my mom's nails first because they were still wet. I was quite surprised that my mother's technician thought it would be OK to not dry her nails before letting her leave the facility. Overall, our visit went well, but because of those two instances I mentioned above, I have reduced my score from 4 to 3.

My first time here under new management not only do my nails look like my 5 year old niece did them, but I was laughed at the entire time by my nail tech (Linda) who cut my skin with the drill 6 times and called me a baby when I flinched back. I had to ask her to paint all the way to my cuticle so my nails didn't look 2 weeks grown out. I had to ask her to file down a lump on the side of a nail that looked like a growth. I had to ask her to get the polish off of my skin. And I still left with the worst nails I've ever had. I now have to pay $ at another salon to have them fixed and I'm so upset. Please don't come here.
