Seattle dog sans onions, add cream cheese
    Rekha M.

We were strolling downtown and we suddenly became so happy to spot this gem. The sausage was bold and flavorful (not pink). It was hot and had perfectly crisped edges. Lots of combinations and condiments and fairly priced. It might the best place to get a hotdog in Seattle.

I had walked by this place a few times to go eat at DOGS IN THE PARK across the street. However, the smell of the wood was what stopped me this time. That is also why I enjoyed my chilling dog there so much. He uses real wood to cook his dogs which not only add smoke in every bite but, he even puts the buns over the fire for a few seconds as well. This was the BEST chilli dog I've ever had in Seattle because he doesn't have beans in the chilli. This is now my favorite hot dog place in downtown.

If you're by downtown Seattle, you should try this hot dog stand! I got their Louisiana hot link (spicy Seattle dog) and it was the best Seattle dog I've ever had. The cream cheese was nicely spread and the hot dog was a pretty good size and had a lot of flavor. Normally when I eat a Seattle dog, the server usually just quickly slaps on cream cheese, and it isn't spread out evening. Nola Hot Dogs is not that case. The service was pretty good. The owner was nice and funny. He said that his hot dogs are the best because "I make them." I'd say he's right on the statement because definitely this would be my go-to Seattle dog spot now. The hot dogs were made quickly. Not much ambiance since it's a hot dog stand. The owner parks his stand in front of Zara. He's there when the weather is good, so he's not there all the time.

Nola dog : andouille sausage, grilled onions and added sourcrout and mustard

Saw this cute food truck. They have different options of hot dogs, Seattle dog, NOLA dog and I think even saw a vegan option. We tried the NOLA dog. It was so good. Had a nice grilled flavor to the andouille sausage. So tender and juicy. The onions were not soggy at all and added another level. I was greeted when I went up to order and the guy seemed nice. I would definitely try this spot again.

Can easily say, hands down, best hot dog I've ever had. Made fresh to order, it was fresh and super yummy. The guy behind the counter making the food had music plying and was cranking out food quick. We got there early, but even with a line I imagine it would be quick service. Highly recommend the Seattle dog (add some peppers and hot sauce to top it off - drooling thinking about how good this was!)

How appropriate that my last meal in Seattle was the Seattle Dog! I didn't think I would find one outside the nightlife scene. Toasted bun, grilled onions, warm cream cheese and a freshly grilled hot dog - so good. Orders come out quick. The man cooking is prepared! He's also in good spirits with fun music playing from his speaker. Very helpful and friendly. He saw how confused we were when we were looking for the light rail entrance at the Westlake Center. Gave us easy directions. Nice guy. Awesome food at a decent price!

This is a very nice little hot dog spot in the plaza. They have a covered area where you can peacefully find all the fixins, which is a plus. However it would be great if they had even one little table to sit at. I say this because the item I ordered, although DELICIOUS, was difficult to eat without everything sliding off. I would have loved the option to eat it with a fork. They have two very large speakers that play music you can hear a block away (literally). It's cool but they are placed right under where you order so you have to yell. I had the Louisiana Hot Link. It's only a little zesty, but good. Only complaint was that it was hard to eat as the onions kept sliding off. But delicious!

Probably the best dog I have had in seattle. My friend got the seattle dog and I got the Nola dog. It was so good. Can't wait to have them again.

Got a Seattle dog, it was so good that I'm gonna try and make them at home. I don't like onions usually but this might've turned me.

A Seattle dog is a quintessential food item while visiting Seattle. I am happy to say the Dog In The Park Seattle Dog lived up to my expectations. A crispy grilled dog, cream cheese, and plenty of grilled veggies. There are loads of toppings to choose from, too, but the young man serving up the dogs recommended just plain for the first time to really get the classic experience. I think some light mustard and maybe some saurkraut would have been a great addition. Friendly service and good recommendations for a first-timer, though. This location is located not too far from Pike Place and Westlake station. Convenient location. The price is great too! Go enjoy a Dog In The Park!

When I kindly asked for no cabbage and only onions the guy said "okay" only to turn around and give me a hot dog covered in cabbage. They've got tons of pinball machines, but the thing I absolutely LOVED were the booths with the pinball machines built right into the tables. They have games, an ATM to get quarters to play the games, free condoms box above the quarter ATM. And my favorite part a Photo Booth! A great bar to me has a Photo Booth, street fighter, and private booths. This has it all. Love how we can have fun playing games, taking pics, choosing a song, and having great conversations in the comfy booths. Service is helpful. One night one of the games ate our quarters up and never worked so we let the bartender know and a few minutes later he gave us our quarters back. Staff is efficient and keeps the bar clean picking up any left behind glasses quickly. The bar is quirky and fun. Private and comfy booths, and lots of clowns everywhere. Sad clowns, happy clowns, creepy clowns, and more clowns than you can count! The bathrooms are unisex with plenty of stickers to look at. Always hand soap and toilet paper available even when busy. Hard working staff! Some areas of the bar like near the bathrooms have flashy lights and makes it feel like you're at the circus. The vibe is laid back and care free. Have yet to try the food so no words on that quite yet! Always a great time at Shorty's. Literally one of my favorite bars! Highly recommend!
