Nolan's is a Corpus institution serving a broad menu of American comfort food that most will find both appealing and appetizing. They have a few locations scattered around the city. They boast that they have the best chicken fried steak in town - wouldn't know because I've never tried it. Their steaks, on the other hand, are pretty good considering their prices. Service is good. Inside is casual, comfortable and quite roomy. Super easy and convenient choice if you're on this side of Corpus.

Very clean restaurant. You order at a counter. The service was fast. We got the fried shrimp with fried okra and mashed potatoes and the chicken fried steak with green beans and mashed potatoes. Food was served hot. Vegetables were a little bland, but there is salt and pepper on every table. Highly recommend for a good casual meal out.

    Terrible chicken fried steak!

Chicken fried steak grossly over cooked. Crust hard as a rock and meat inside burnt black! Terrible yeast roll and fried okra extra greasy. Only reason they got two stars is because the pinto beans were pretty good.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was nice and clean and looked well kept. The food was pretty good I had the Chicken fried steak and my wife had the fried shrimp. She said it was the best shrimp she has had in Corpus. The menu was not very large but covered the based for most everyone. The food was solid overall but nothing over the top. Nolan's will stay on our radar for places to go when we visit Corpus.

My Mother in law recommended this for lunch and it was so good. The atmosphere is very home like quiet and plenty of room. The food portions were big and delicious! The restroom was clean

The waitress arrived and took my order, their margaritas are large and strong. They give you complimentary chips and fish ceviche with salsas, which were excellent. The green salsa had quite a kick. I then went with the Fried Red Snapper, which came with fries, rice, and a salad. It was very tasty and fresh. The service was very good, the waitress stopped by often and was very friendly. The prices were outstanding. Overall, a great place for seafood.

What a place... the outside of the building is nothing to speakof but the inside is nice, clean and…read morethe food is really good. We ate there, vs. to-go, they have a fairly large seating area. They also seemed like they are doing a lot of to-go orders. We were seated and they brought out ceviche and fried tortia chips and crackers. It was delicious and had a little spice with a really nice fresh taste. The two salsa's were also very good, one was on the milder side and one was hot. My wife had the Camarones Zarandeados (Grilled shrimp with home sauce). It comes with several shrimp and rice. It is marked mild, my wife thought it was a bit spicy but loved it and eat it all. I had the Huachinago Al Gusto (Red Snapper natural) with Diabla sauce. It comes with rice, a piece of bread and a salad. The picture shows it with fries but I didn't get any. I was okay with that as it was very filling and delicious! A musician came in and played some music on his guitar and sang, that added to the entire experience. If I lived here I'd be visiting here a lot.

Food 5/5 Service 5/5…read moreAmbiance 4/5 My party of 3 came on a Saturday afternoon after visiting the weekly farmers market in the parking lot and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. You can tell that the chef(s) pour their heart into eat dish prepared. My mother in law and I both ordered salads and my wife ordered the snapper tacos and we all ate every single bite! The ambiance is great for a casual family meal and there is also a bar area as well. My only suggestion is for the restaurant to please oh please put a bit into upgrading the bathrooms. It really is a disservice to the customers and experience when some of the stalls don't close and the toilets are literally falling apart and closed with plastic instead of the normal parts they should be. However, we will be back and recommend it to others for a great casual meal with excellent food, good service and reasonable prices!

It wasn't very busy so we got a table right away and our waitress was friendly and knowledgable about the menu. The interior is a bit dark and has a minimal vibe. The seafood gumbo was excellent, lots of flavor and seafood. My husband said the honey mustard dressing was the best he has had. The blackened chicken on my salad was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My husband really enjoyed his salmon. I thought the caesar dressing was on the light side. The portion size was good and filling. The prices were decent as well.
