We ordered a bevy of food! Including Veggie Tempura, Croquettes, and Chicken Karaage. All super delicious. We also ordered Ramen and Beef Curry. They wet both delightful. Although not the best we would return for them.

A new ramen place in the neighborhood! It's right next door to Relay's . Easy parking, The place can accommodate large groups and has outdoor seating too for weather appropriate time of the year! Service was good. A good variety of ramen to choose from. I'm not a huge ramen fan but I actually enjoyed the food. Their ramen soup was subtly flavorful, which I liked a lot! The kaki fry (fried oyster) was also very good. They had this cabbage salad side dish that didn't look it but was actually spicy! That was a surprise that I can do without.

Noodle dish. Quite substantial, especially for the price point

I have been wanting to try this new Ramen restaurant since they opened recently. They are located next to Raleys, in the shopping center, previously a sushi restaurant. Overall I was very impressed. The place is very nicely appointed, clean with a fresh new look. It seemed to me that they took over a larger space from the last restaurant and also have outdoor seating. The decor is more upscale than a typical Ramen place. The menu is quite extensive with many Japanese food choices. I came specifically for the Ramen but found several other items I would definitely try. My choice was the Kara Tonkotsu Ramen, with pork, and slightly spicy. The broth was excellent and had just the right amount of 'kick'. The pork pieces were very tender, the egg. (although a bit chilled) was well prepared with just the right consistency of creamy yolk. The veggies were delicious and most of all the Ramen noodles were perfect. It was a very large portion, and the prices aren't bad. I devoured the entire bowl. It was good! Ed had a noodle dish that looked delicious and equally enjoyed it. We had some hot green tea with it. Service was attentive and very professional. It's a family owned establishment and we intend to continue supporting them as a welcome addition to town. Parking is never a problem since it is located in a large shopping center. Try it... it's good!

Raijin Ramen is the newest ramen place in town. I was a bit hesitant to try it at first because the pictures online weren't that appetizing. But, oh boy, I'm glad we did. The service was great. The staff were really nice, and the food came out fast. I ordered the Kara shoyu tonkotsu ramen. The soup is very flavorful, but it's not spicy, and the noodles are chewy. The okonomiyaki also has a perfect amount of sauce. Their donburi (not pictured) is the best I have ever had so far. The sauce is perfect; it's not very sweet or overwhelming. And the best part is the free ice cream at the end of our meal. We also like the ambiance inside. The pictures on the wall are very nice to look at.

Yay! Lincoln is having a more diverse food option! We were excited to see Raijin pop up next to Raley's in the old Crazy Sushi location. We have been a fan of Ryujin and Raijin in their Sacramento locations. They're my place to go-to when I want my noodle fix. We ordered: Katsu Don-3/5 sad to say, it was over cooked. Miso-Tonkotsu-3/5 bland broth, they forgot the egg!? Ban Ban ji-peanut dressing was thick, needed to be diluted w/vinegar? 2/5 Geso-5/5 Croquette-4/5 Ambience is warm and cozy, our server was super attentive, reason why I'm giving Raijin 4/5 stars. There is some needed improvements as far as preparation. It isn't what we expected from the Ryujin/Raijin chain. Hoping it will get better since they are still in their opening phase. Hence why I'm giving them four stars!

The food was exceptional, and the service was great. Everything tasted so authentic it honestly felt like I was back in Japan. I ordered the black garlic ramen, and it was absolutely incredible. The broth was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, with deep umami from the black garlic. Every bite was comforting and satisfying. We also had pickled veggies that was super yummy and a perfect way to start the meal. On top of that, the pork fried rice was a solid 10 out of 10. It was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and easily one of the best I've had. Overall, an amazing experience from start to finish. I'll definitely be coming back

We were craving some noodles and happen to see this place on Yelp! We walked in and were immediately seated. The place is so cute! So many decorations and a variety of booths and tables. We ordered some edamame to start and the spicy Kara Tonkotsu ramen. We waited maybe like 10 minutes and the ramen arrived. It was super flavorful, the broth was at the right temperature and they even give you a whole egg! Def would come back. OH, and they even offer free ice cream at the end!

I had a wonderful lunch of Yaki Udon here yesterday. The whole experience from the warm welcome, charming decor, friendly service to the excellent meal made me know I would be coming back for more. The price of the meal -- about $15 -- was very reasonable. I am hoping the Yaki Udon will be on the menu when I return as it is truly delicious!

The competition in the world of Ramen is strong in the area. Starting up a new Ramen House can be difficult. My brother and I love Ramen and make it a point to try out all of the new spots. Some houses stay on our list of favorites, while others fade into "the noodle abyss" never to be revisited. Tonight, we ate at Raijin Ramen and it didn't disappoint. We started the meal with some Gyoza (basically a pot sticker) and they were excellent. I got a bowl of Kara Miso Tonkotsu with some extra noodles and loved it. The broth was very tasty. I ate the entire bowl down to the last drop. My brother got the Tonkotsu Garlic Bowl and he said it was simply incredible. He also posted a review of his experience. The service was very fantastic and the ambiance excellent. Raijin served a hearty bowl of Ramen (size does matter) at a very reasonable price point. I'm a big eater and didn't go away hungry. You can also tell that the family owned business puts a great deal of pride and effort into making the customers experience positive. Their complementary cup of ice cream was a perfect ending to a great meal. Raijin Ramen did what was expected and more. We will definitely return for another great bowl in the near future. Please go out and support this local Ramen House. Your support will help insure that Raijin Ramen can keep their doors open well into the future.

Raijin Ramen in Lincoln is such a great addition to town. They've been open since August, but this was our first time going in--and it definitely won't be our last. Honestly, I already know we'll be back within the next couple of weeks. Henry was our server and he was awesome from the start. He welcomed us right away and was always around when we needed something without hovering. We ordered the gyoza (potstickers) to start, and they were a solid choice. For our main dishes, we both went with the Kara Miso Tonkotsu Ramen, and it did not disappoint. While we were waiting, Henry even brought out some sautéed veggies for us to snack on, which was such a nice and unexpected touch. After we finished eating, Henry brought over complimentary green tea ice cream, and it was the perfect way to end the meal--just the right amount of sweetness. We loved this place. I hear people in Lincoln all the time talking about wanting something new that isn't just pizza or Mexican food, and Raijin is exactly that. I really hope people give it a shot--it's absolutely worth it.

Great ramen right in Lincoln. Had the kara shoju tonkatsu and it was great. Not super spicy but had a nice heat, broth was delicious and the pork was super tender. The egg was great. They hooked it up with free ice cream at the end too which was totally unexpected. The green tea was very nice and the vanilla was amazing. Server was super nice and helpful, super clean and chill inside. Really great spot. Definitely will be back and probably grab some take out since it's right in town.

Automatically taking in the ambience of the restaurant, it felt really clean and has a nice dim light that makes the dining experience feel private. The service was very attentive and they'll do a temperature check on how the food is with you after you receive your meal and they were all genuinely very friendly. 10/10 for the service, no doubt. For food, we ordered their "Fukumi Ramen" and their chicken karaage . Chicken karaage came out first and was freshly fried. The coating was amazingly light and the chicken itself was flavorful. It comes served with a lemon wedge and tiny pieces of salad and the dressing in the salad was delicious! For the Fukumi Ramen bowl itself, the initial taste of the broth was flavorful and the black garlic oil was a nice touch. You'll immediately notice how thickkkk their chasu slices are and I think the free order of extra noodles is a nice plus. However, the thin noodles served with the Fukumi Ramen bowl seemed like a lighter color than I normally see at ramen places and the noodles were overcooked so I feel like it obscured the overall taste of the ramen itself since ramen noodles make up so much of the bite. Even though the extra noodles were free and a nice complimentary addition, I feel like I could tell why because the ramen noodles lacked the quality the rest of the bowl had. The tamago egg was decent and I was surprised because it looked like a plain white boiled egg rather than the traditional brown seasoned egg you get in ramen. Overall, I think Fukumi Ramen can do the job of satisfying a cold rainy day, and I think with their wide variety of ramen options, you'll definitely have to try and find one that might hit for you! Portions are huge here too so it might take a couple visits to try more options!

Whenever I'm near either location I make a point to stop by to enjoy a meal or pick up take out to enjoy at home. While a fresh bowl of ramen in the restaurant is always the best experience, their take-out options are packed well and reheat nicely. I'll often warm up ramen the day after I pick it up and it's such a nice treat to have at home. The Lincoln location has plenty of parking and once you're inside you head up to the kiosks to order for dine in or carry out. Definitely take a look through the menu, they have a variety of ramen options, including soupless ramen, rice bowls, and appetizers. They also have a variety of drinks, and I noticed on my recent visit that this Lincoln location has alcoholic options. My favorite order is their spicy tonkatsu ramen- the broth is so rich, there's a perfect amount of spice, and it hits every mark for me. Honestly, I didn't truly appreciate good ramen until I tried Umami Ramen and now this is the standard that I judge all other ramens by. We also typically order their karaage chicken and I pick up and onigiri or two (the tuna is my favorite). Everything on the menu is great though and I'd recommend trying anything that sounds yummy at the moment. There is plenty of seating and I love that the restaurant is decorated with plenty of fun posters, art, and even figurines to look at. They also have a shopping area for Japanese snacks, toys, drinks, desserts and a claw machine. A pro tip is to check out their specials- when I visited they had a $25 special for a small appetizer, ramen, and drink. It was a great deal! They also have the option to adjust your ramen by leaving off certain items or ordering extras- I usually get extra bamboo shoots for $2 (it's a generous portion of them) and their eggs are AMAZING- if you're a fan it's definitely worth ordering an extra. The staff here is also so kind, if you're having trouble deciding they're happy to help and can ring you up if your prefer ordering with them. They also always make sure I have water when I dine in and pack my to-go orders with such care. I highly recommend both of Umami Ramen's locations and hope they open a third closer to me so I can go all the time. For now, I'm happy to travel though!

Once we sat down at our table they came and took our drink and dinner orders. There are tons of options for hibachi with lots of proteins. I went with shrimp and filet mignon. Filet was 6 bucks more than steak and I think it was worth it, tender and delicious. I thought the prices were reasonable for what you get. The show was fun, typical hibachi fare, volcano, fire, flying broccoli. I skipped the sake/water fountain. I really enjoyed the food- the fried rice, soup, steak and shrimp were all great. The shrimp was the best I've ever had at this type of place. The veggies were the only disappointment, definitely undercooked. But I had plenty of food and we took home leftovers. The birthday song with the gong was hysterical and our waiter came out and sang an extra song too. The place is obviously aging and could use a refresh as well as some better ventilation. I left with a headache from the smoke. But the food was delicious and we would come back.

It's pretty big and there were green things all over the floor; broccoli bits that people missed catching. The chefs are party savvy and try to toss one in the air as customers catch them in their mouths. I had a 50% catch rate. It's fun! It's amazing how they keep track of everybody's orders and cook it up on the grill-table right in front of you. MEDIUM: The place is a mill. We were barely finishing our main courses and they were hurriedly cleaning up and bringing new setups for next customers. We felt quite rushed. FAILS: 1) As a birthday celebration, as we walked in, I handed a written note to our server, indicating who in our party was having the birthday. They did absolutely nothing. No singing (like they were doing at some other tables), no dessert offering, nothing. 2) They add a huge tip to the receipt without telling you. And then the receipt has a second place asking for an additional tip. Watch out!! I crossed out their desired tip and added my own quite reasonable amount. As we were leaving the building, our server (young Asian female with round glasses) chased after me in the parking lot to argue about the tip and asked for more. That's downright rude. Remember, tips are OPTIONAL (unless pre-posted in writing) and subject to the patron's discretion. BOTTOM LINE: The chef was fun, and the food good. But kinda like "aside from that, Mr. Lincoln, how was the play?" Being chased when outside to beg for more tip put a sour spin on the experience.
