I called and spoke with two different people, explained exactly what had happened, and was promised both a call back and a refund. It has now been a full week. I have received no call, no refund, no apology, and no follow-up of any kind. When a customer specifically tells a restaurant about a food allergy or intolerance, it needs to be taken seriously. This wasn't a minor mistake where one stray piece of pepper ended up in the dish -- green peppers made up a substantial portion of the meal. I gave the restaurant an opportunity to address the problem privately before posting this review, but after a week of being ignored despite being promised a response, I feel this experience deserves to be shared. Very disappointing, particularly because my family chose this restaurant for their dinner and I expected much better handling of an allergy-related concern.
