I've been craving a really good teriyaki bowl for a while and apparently they are hard to come by this area. However I found noodle express and decided to try it for the first time. The best way that I can explain noodle express is fast food sit down. The prices are pretty reasonable however, the better value is getting the large and then taking home half of it if you would prefer to eat small normally. The restaurant was clean had lots of proceeding and I did like that. The tables in the booth did move so no one was too far away when they were eating and people who needs more space do have it. They carry Pepsi products for fountain drinks and offer refills. Everything is made fresh, which is nice and the time from when you order to when your food is ready is pretty quick. Personally, I felt like the rice could use some salt, but if you mix it all together it taste really good. My plan was originally to take half my bowl home but that didn't happen. I ended up finishing everything. I will definitely go back and eat here again and I do wish we had a location closer to our house. read more

Not sure I like this place. I should have realized that it is just a fast food noodle stop. Don't know what I was expecting. It was just chow mein with your choice of protein. Very salty!!! I want to start out by saying I absolutely love this place and their teriyaki chicken is to die for... however this location in particular was very disappointing. I always go with double chicken because they never give you enough for the rest of your dish. This time I did my same order and keep in mind they charge you 6 or 7 extra dollars when I say that, which is fine. I get my order and I have tiny 6 pieces of chicken which is just absolute blasphemy. Identically the amount that my friends got without ordering any extra meet. they advertise that you get a 4 more oz of chicken which I think is complete and utter bs. That all being said I love this place and especially their location on division. Sullivan is just slacking big time. During our stay in Spokane, some friends of ours recommended this place for some good gluten free fast food. Gf and noodles? It was so perplexing we absolutely had to try it. This restaurant is part of a regional chain that mostly includes eastern Washington and Montana. The inside is relatively nice for a fast food place. It has several booths and tables set aside from the main ordering and waiting area if you want to dine in. Everything is served in to go black plastic containers with plastic utensils. We ordered take out at the counter and the person putting in our order was very friendly and helpful. There are only a couple of items on their menu that fit a full gluten free diet and you have to be careful about what rice type you order as well. I went for the Sweet Thai Rice Bowl with brown rice (only gf rice option) with chicken. There's a bit of a concern with cross contamination here if you're celiac like I am, so be cautious depending on how sensitive you are. I'd definitely recommend mentioning you have an allergy and asking them to clean the grill off which they report having no problem accommodating if informed. The rice bowl was mostly average from flavor to quality, but it was certainly nice to have an option in an Asian cuisine fast food place! read more

The most off putting thing about this place is how filthy it is. Our table wasn't clean despite there being five employees on shift. There was sauce stuck on our table. I grabbed a high chair and wiped it down as I usually do when eating out and it was disgusting! I honestly don't think they ever clean them. The food was ok, tasted like something I could easily make at home (chicken teriyaki with Brocolli). My husband had the sweet and sour chicken and wasn't impressed. He found two small hairs in his food (possibly eyelashes, hopefully not nose hairs ) I was surprised that people kept coming in to pick up orders. This is not a place I would intentionally go to.. we only tried it as we were on our way to do some shopping at Walmart and I can't eat dairy so our options are limited. I don't know what it is about the staff at the Sullivan location, but EVERY SINGLE TIME I order from here (which is few and far between, for a reason), they always manage to eff up something. From ALWAYS forgetting to give me my sauces, especially when I ask for extra (I guess they think it's funny to do the opposite or something) to even COMPLETELY LEAVING OUT THE MEAT I ordered (and yes, I ordered and PAID for extra meat). The one time I actually called to complain about their repeated mess ups, I was promised a gift card, but one year later - nothing. If I could leave a zero star review I would. I ordered 2 bowls online payed for them drove 15 minutes to come pick them up was then told that there ovens are broken and they can't cook my food. I said is there any way I can have a refund and the shorter girl who claims she is a manager there yelled at me to my face and told me I can't have a refund her breathe smelled profusely bad. Tonight was my first trip to Noodle Express and probably my last. I ordered the chicken yakisoba bowl for carry out. Got home with the bowl and opened it up to mix in a little sriracha and was shocked at how little chicken was in the bowl! I dug around and found a few more small pieces, but was still surprised. I found all the pieces of chicken, including the little tiny bits and the total was a whopping 1.6 ounces!! Are you kidding me? Ordered here for the first time today. I was hardly impressed with the result. The worst part, I was so excited to try the place out. Lets start with the chicken noodle bowl. It hardly had any chicken. I attached a photo for reference. There was about one tablespoon of chicken total in my dish. Same with my husbands dish. The noodles were dry too. So their online ordering platform sucks. Couldn't notify them of shrimp allergen online so i had to call. Couldn't order veggie egg rolls online (find out with phone call they are out). Caesar salad registered on the web order but when we got home...no Caesar. Call to Sullivan store revealed it's not offered anymore and they haven't updated the web platform. For a good healthy lunch, you can't beat noodle express. You can do a bowl and sub most of the rice with Asian slaw is you really want to stick to healthy eating. I have recently been buying the family platters for lunch at work. If you get double meet on the platters. That, a pint of Asian slaw and an egg roll platter will easily feed 8 hungry coworkers with leftovers. I've tasted though the menu and my favorite is Chicken Osaka, but the sweet chili shrimp is a close second. read more

We have been regular customers at the Noodle Express on Sullivan for years. Tonight we ordered our usual Chicken Osaka bowls to go; with 2/3 vegetables and 1/3 brown rice. After 26 minutes, I realized my beeper was not working. Our meals were kept warm under the counter lights but by the time we arrived home the chicken had been sitting out for over 45 minutes. When I checked my receipt I noticed I had been charged an additional charge for the rice/veggie change of $2. Also a $2.76 tip was added without my permission. As a senior citizen on fixed income, I was very disappointed in the food, dead battery beeper, long wait time, and the audacity to expect a tip for a counter to go substandard order. Restaurant employees in the state of Washington are paid the minimum wage and not subjected to tip credit wages. I hope that this was a one time situation that can be rectified. Haven't been here in a long while, but have been hungry for their noodle bowl for a few months now, so called in an order last night for me and a friend. I like the noodle bowl with extra teryaki chicken on it, and my friend tried the sweet and sour chicken bowl, as she had never eaten here before. When I showed up to pay for the order, it was correct on the screen and I also asked the cashier for the asian slaw on the side, as I don't like it added into the bowl. When they handed me the order I looked inside and saw no slaw. When I mentioned this, they said they thought I'd cancelled the slaw, but promptly got me a couple of sides of it. I wish I'd checked the entire order though, because when I got home, I had teriyaki chicken with rice and was really disappointed. The staff has a real disconnect with getting orders right, because I've had this problem before when dining in, but with takeout only, I wasn't going to drive back. But if I had wanted chicken with rice, I could have just stayed home and made it myself. So word to the wise people, check your entire order from this place before you leave.
