Very delicious food, very friendly staff! We love everything, the Pho is amazing and we love the combo appetizer!

I will give a biased review. This has changed over the years. Unfortunately it is not the same as it used to be due one of the chefs passing away. However I still come here and Elvis knows exactly what I want already. But not only is this with me but my friends and a lot of other customers also. The pho is decent. The soup doesn't taste as good as it used to and I wish they gave you more beef with you pho. The house special fried rice is delicious here it's literally like crack for me. The rice plates are very affordable especially for lunch. The egg rolls are awesome too. Their lemonade is also house made so give it a try! For me coming here just brings me good memories and although it isn't the best, it's the only one is Salinas and because of that I come here to support their business. I don't know why but I can't stop coming back here. read more

My boyfriend and I are originally from San Jose/Bay Area so we often crave pho on a rainy or cold day. This place is really the only spot in town out of only maybe a handful that actually has good PHO!! We went here today and I thought the pho tasted like my favorite spot in San Jose, Pho Tau Bay. Anyways, they also serve a good variety of Chinese food! They have a lunch menu before 3pm which is a good deal because it comes with rice, soup, 2 fried crispy wontons, and a good variety selection of dishes for just under $8!! If you get pho, you have to order the #16 which is comparable to a #1 or #2 in most pho places ( has the steak, flank, lean, and tendon). They also do delivery which we do most times on a day we are hungover to actually go somewhere to eat pho!! The service is decent also! read more

I was debating between 2 or 3 stars for this place. It's really more like a 2.5. I thought the pho was pretty decent. I also ordered their combination won ton and egg noodle soup and thought the broth was tasty, but the won tons were not. Kind of hard to screw up egg noodle. For soups, this place is ok. I haven't tried their main dishes, but not sure I'd return as the service here is subpar. It will do if I need a quick Pho fix. But if I had the time and didn't need to stay in Salinas, I'd venture out to Seaside/Marina as there are a couple of better Vietnamese restaurants. read more

On a lunch break for jury duty, needed a quiet corner to get some work done and some yummy noodles to get me through the monotonous day... Service was ON POINT. Very kind, respectful and quick family run business. Pho was a hard 9, which is a high standard for me. If and when I'm in salinas and craving Pho, I will definitely head here! read more

Pho comes in a huge bowl and is very delicious. I've tried the rice platters but did not like how dry the chickens are. Thai iced tea is yummy. Will be going back for more fresh spring rolls and pho. read more

For Salinas the noodle house is pretty much awesome when you are craving some pho. I ordered the small #16 beef pho with a honeydew pearl tea. Both had really good flavor and filled me up. The service was great and friendly. Next time I'll give the spring rolls a try. Will come back! read more

Out of all of the places in the 831, this place has the best broth! You can tell the quality of flavor and time they put in, boiling the broth for hours. This is the #1 go to spot for Pho, in the 831. Their Spring Rolls are pretty awesome too, big portions not like the other places where they give you 2 spring rolls and slice them in half. Not this place! You get 4 huge rolls! If youre looking for really good Pho, go here, you wont be disappointed! read more

I don't know why I ever order pork Bún anywhere else - it never compares. I wish the grilled pork was actually grilled, but even though it's not it is addictively delicious. so, they have hands-down, the BEST fried rice here in monterey county. you definitely need to order their House Special Fried Rice. it's reasonably priced too. i would skip on the orange chicken though, i mean, it's a vietnamese restaurant, so go do as the viets do. try pho. don't even get me started with their pho. the size-it's definitely worth the $5.95, the small is nowhere near small. i guarantee. and they serve mint, jalapeno, and sprouts separately. they come in really fresh, the beef pho, they put in the beef raw so it cooks in the soup and tastes amazing. it's so tender! and those big fat bottles of hot sauce they have on the tale, definitely mix it with the soup. it makes it ten times more amzing and it gives it a zing of spicyness that's off the hook:) the people are friendly, not top of the line but they are just way too busy to pamper everyone. they do their job and they do it well. they just forgot to give me my fortune cookie though:/ overall, this place is a winner and if you're in the hunt for tasty fried rice or pho when you're in salinas, you definitely need to try this place. read more

I come here for the pho and that's about it. Maybe I'll get a boba drink occasionally. The beef and chicken pho are equally decent. Don't recommend the viet rolls. Had some raw shrimp and raw onion in one of mine. The rest of the menu is americanized chinese food, so I was a little disappointed that they didn't have other vietnamese dishes. One thing also that's interesting is that they've had animal planet on everytime I've been over there. So you're eating your pho and watching a bunch of cheetahs chomp down on an antelope. read more

I'm from out of town and I was really looking forward to some pho but I have to say I was very disappointed. I got the #16 bowl and there was hardly any meat in it and the broth had a slight sweetness to it which is not the way it should taste at all. You know how when you crave something and then when you eat it it's just ok? I left sad, and still kind of hungry because I just wasn't satisfied. The reason I rate this restaurant with only one star is because I ordered a phõ to go and I asked if they put the hoisin sauce inside and he told me he did and as soon as I got home I didn't have my hoisin sauce , that make me very ungry because I understand if they forget , but if you remember them and they just tell you yes as a lie???? read more

The owners of this place are so sweet. I always order take out & it's ready in a good timely matter. I love the vegetable tofu noddle pho from here. I have tried it at many other places and the broth always taste like chicken or fish and I don't like that taste at all. The broth from here is very tasty and it's more like a miso soup flavor. Once everything is together in your plate all the flavors complement each other well. Highly recommend this place. read more

After a 1.5 hour swim/jacuzzi time at the hotel, we were ready for some hot noodle soup. This place was close to the hotel so tried it out. It seems to be more of an all asian foods restaurant, ie. chinese dishes and vietnamese dishes. We were craving pho noodle soup so that's what we had. The girls had chicken pho and I have the comb beef pho soup (#16). It wasn't the best bowl of pho we've had but it was satisfying enough. I also had Vietnamese ice coffee (it comes out already mixed) which was fine as well although I prefer to have it drip at the table. read more

We found this restaurant and thought it sounded good. The menu has a huge variety of different Pho's and asian dishes. My husband ordered the chicken veggie Pho and I ordered the spicy beef with green onions and we also shared an order of chow mien. Everything was delicious! The spicy beef had great flavor and all the portions were heaping. Our server was also a pleasure. He could see we were having trouble deciding and he took his time explaining different dishes to us. Pho like any type of food is subjective. For me, as long as the soup is hot and not too salty, I'm a happy person. Add the fresh basil, bean sprouts, jalapenos, and lemon.
