Obsessed with this place! Hands down the BEST pho in town and I've tried a lot! I always order the veggie pho, but they've got plenty of options like shrimp, meatballs, and other meats if that's your thing. The owners and staff are seriously the sweetest they always make me feel so welcome every time I come in. Highly recommend!

After calling another pho restaurant in town and not getting an answer, I decided to give Noodle House a try. Though it was a few minutes further drive from where I'm staying, it was worth the trip! Located in the in shape shopping center off Davis Road, this unassuming little restaurant was already getting busy for the dinner time rush at 5:30 PM on a Tuesday night. If I hadn't been picking up soup due to being sick the last few days, I would've liked to dine-in; the restaurant felt cozy and inviting! Before I'd been waiting in the doorway for barely a minute, I was greeted by a gentleman from the back of the restaurant asking if I was dining in or picking up. I told him my order, and he promptly went back to grab it and blend up my boba drink! I suggest you come in early or call your order in ahead of time if you've got a time crunch. Once I got home, I simmered my pho broth on the stove to a low boil so my rare steak would cook once I added it along with the noodles, sprouts, onions, etc. It was delicious - I didn't need to add sriracha or anything. The spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce were also yummy; I'll be saving those for another meal later today. Would definitely come back here, and would choose to dine in next time to get the full effect; their menu looks pretty extensive, and I'd like to try some other other items too. All in all, Noodle House was a good experience!

We Have Been back here almost every week from the date of my last post. Still getting the great service and Delicious food. This place turned out to be Salinas's best kept secret for the last five years for anyone looking for the best Pho Soup.

Food is great. Variety of selection. The servers are kind and nice. We order take out on a regular basis. Recommend their lemon grass chicken over rice and their fried wontons and Thai iced tea with boba. Their take out takes less than 10 minutes. read more

My family got carryout from Noodle House one evening during my recent trip to Salinas. I enjoyed the food very much and wish that I had written this review sooner so I could remember all the delicious things I ate. I recall eating a very delicious fried rice. It was unlike fried rice dishes that I've eaten at other restaurants since I believe there were mushrooms in the dish. I'm a big fan of mushrooms. So, I definitely doubled down on the rice! I also sampled a noodle dish, which was delicious. The noodles were crunchy and the sauce that accompanied tasted great as well. I recall a curry dish, which other people enjoyed, but I did not sample as I'm not a big fan of curry. Overall, really good food and 3.5 stars for now. I'd be interested in trying some pho when I return to Salinas. I'm not a pho fan (yet anyway) and it appears that their pho is good. read more

I guess it's decent for the area. I come from the most Asian part of LA so I have been spoiled with delicious Chinese/Vietnamese food. So in comparison, this place is just barely passable, especially for their prices. My BF and I stayed in at vision quest ranch and found this place on yelp as I was craving pho. We ordered: wonton veggie pho, cashew shrimp, chicken fried rice, Kung pao chicken, and fresh spring rolls. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. The pho definitely lacked flavor. Even with sriracha it was quite disappointing. The spring rolls didn't taste fresh, rather old and stale. The cashew shrimp and Kung pao chicken lacked the protein aspect of the dish, mostly filled with veggies. The fried rice however was quite delicious! I would've been happy with just that. The portions are humongous. We definitely bit off more than we can chew lol. However, considering most of the dishes were filled to the brim with veggies, I guess we didn't really get that much. We paid $40 for everything, which is a bit steep considering the poor quality of the food. Definitely have had much better for much less. read more

Update I was super hung over and was desperate for soup. Since I didnt want to drive I called the Noodle House for delivery despite my passed experience. These guys totally redeemed themselves! The food was good and helped cured my hang over. read more

I've ordered in the past. Food was OK. Not the best but it delivers in Salinas. NO PDF of menu..really! First time I ordered I tried to pay with a CC and they said it wouldn't go through. Called my bank to see why and they never ran it. LIE. They just didn't want to pay the CC fee. But what really just got me mad. I call to order and I am told that I have to order 1 more dish to hit minimum $25. I said that it was not on Yelp that there was a min delivery order amount. Have searched all over and nope not here. Rude man that answered phone. Argued. Will never order from this place again. BAD BAD BAD telephone service! Twice this business has proven to me to be DISHONEST! Their food isn't good enough to support their behavior. read more

Let them know if you are vegan :) they will use vegetable broth instead of meat broth. I had the vegetable noodle soup with tofu and it was pretty amazing! All I have to say is that Pho is the cure all. It is really spectacular. Talk about comfort food at it's finest. The owners are very friendly too. My only dilemma: they have a wonderful varied menu that I'd like to try sometime. But their Pho is so good, I always end up ordering that LOL! One day I will try the rest of their delicious looking menu. read more

It is in an odd shopping center next to Mountain Mikes pizza A small shop not a lot of seats, but they are very quick with service and the authentic Pho ( I tried the Seafood one ) was very good with Spring rolls for an appetizer. I would recommend read more

Absolutely love the food here! Their Pho is like no other. The first time we entered this establishment we were greeted with a great smile and a very welcoming "Hello". Felt like we were part of their family. Their small bowl of Pho is like a large compared to other places. We highly recommend the Pho here. I could not agree with Jemille's review more. I agree that the food comes out at a decent time and is cheap. It's definitely not the winning any awards for decor and I dare not look over into the kitchen. I always leave fool and content (although I only ever get the pho). read more

I don't go to this place that often maybe because there are other noodle place near my house. I went there yesterday and I don't appreciate people that gave this place a bad rating. This place is very cheap and the food is good. The beef fried rice has a very good flavor. Big portion and I don't think they use MSG. My favorite is the crunchy noodles with bunch of vegetables, meat and gravy. The pho is good too. The boba drink is very refreshing. The server or maybe the owner is such a clown. Maybe if I am in the bad mood, I don't think I can handle all his jokes. But overall the restaurant is pretty good. I would come back for sure. read more

Best meal I've had in a while. Shrimp curry: shrimp wasn't the best quality, but the flavors and veggies were delish and just the right amount of crunch. I ask if it was spicy, the gentleman said no, when I looked disappointed he offered to have it made spicy. The spice level was perfect and made the dish just wonderful. Kind of tasted like the boxed curry you get from the grocery store, but I love that, so I was very happy with it. Egg rolls: of course greasy, ohhhh so good! Lots of veggies, little but of ground pork. Great flavor. Combination chow mein: sooo wonderful! Knowing I love spicy the cashier offered to make it spicy, and it tasted grrreat! Loved the flavors! Wonderful food, wonderful flavors, superbly friendly customer service. The gentleman who helped me definitely knows what customer service is! I only wish I'd discovered this place sooner! read more

I try to visit this place a couple of times a month. All of the previous reviews were pretty much right on. The food is great and so is the service, until it gets moderately busy, but the staff does try to accommodate everyones needs as they can. The restaurant decor is outdated, but not dirty after all why do we visit restaurants anyway? For the food and service right? I would have to say the house special fried rice is just as good as everyone says and the pho is a good fix for anyone in the area who's looking for a bowl of pho without having to drive to the san jose area. The restaurant does have photos on the wall of most of their dishes so you can see what you're getting before ordering. Bottom line, food is good, service is good, now go enjoy some asian food at the noodle house today. read more

Wife and I decided to stop in for some Pho on the way home from SoCal. Saw the reviews and were hopeful for some good food. After being seated, it took them quite awhile to get back to us as they chose to talk with other customers instead of getting our order then chatting. Got our food and it was not all that impressive. Not bad, but with such high reviews, we thought it would be awesome. We were mistaken. Broth was average or less and barely any amount of meat in the bowl. Thai iced tea, didn't taste well either. We won't be returning, but wish them the best. read more

Noodle house is amazing. My friends and I eat here almost every week. Pho is fantastic #16 is the most traditional; I add meatballs because they are also great. Lately I have been trying their other items. Their house fried rice is the best I have ever had. If you have never had Thai tea it is delicious, and you can get it with boba if you want. Best of all it is inexpensive under $10 a person out the door. read more

I don't understand why this place has good reviews. I give it one star because the prices on the pho were decent. But otherwise, it was a disappointing experience. The decor, the service, the cleanliness and the pho were all pretty sub par. Found a small,dead fly in the lemongrass and one of the spoons looked like it hadn't been cleaned. By the end of the meal my boyfriend didn't even feel like paying. We should've gone to the Mountain Mike's next door. Make the trip to Noodle Bar instead! read more

I tried this place for the first time last week and it was great! I always have a craving for soup and being vegan can make it difficult but I had the Vegetable Tofu Noodle Soup and wow! It had so much flavor, the tofu isn't fried which I personally prefer, they had fresh cilantro and green onions, and tons of broth! Honestly, one of the best soups I've had in awhile. We ordered salt and pepper shrimp, wonton with peanut sauce, potstickers, sesame beef, and Thai style beef chow fun. None of these dishes stood out. All 5 were very average. No inspiration or exciting preparations here. Even though we ask for spicy preparations, none were prepared spicy. There's nothing wrong with Eagle except the food is very average with nothing to get excited about. I'm looking for more exciting food. The search continues.

Then curiosity finally won. I arrived mid-afternoon to a surprisingly packed house--always a promising sign. As luck would have it, one table remained, and an older woman kindly waved me over to claim it. About five minutes later she returned with a place setting, menu, and the essential opening question: "What would you like to drink?" (Water, in my case.) Three minutes after that, a younger server zipped past, apologized for the brief wait, and efficiently took my order. I went with the Sweet & Sour Pork lunch special ($13.95), which came with an egg roll and fried rice. The portion was generous enough to qualify as both lunch and a future encore at home. The egg roll and fried rice were solid. The sweet and sour pork was decent--loaded with pineapple chunks, though curiously missing the usual bell peppers. Large pieces of vegetables not alot of noodles and tons of sauce at the bottom of the plate instead of everything else. Honestly I know this is hard to believe but I would have rather had Panda Express and thats saying something. Needless to say I wont be back.

I came here yesterday night to eat some Pho, which my friends told me this place is THE BEST. However, I was disgusted by the sanity that I had. I ordered Pho and Spring rolls. However, there was a long hair in the spring roll, which they tried to ignore and not said sorry. So I started taking picture of the hair and told my friends that we should report this to health department. They started saying sorry and will refund the money. Noodle House has been a go-to lunch spot for me for the last few years. Good Vietnamese food is hard to find, but Noodle House has exceptional beef pho. There are some other good options in Salinas, but Noodle House's owners/staff have great personality and make you feel welcome.
