We've been going here for years and the food is always consistently delicious and still hot when we get it home( we love about 15 mins away). It's not going to break the bank either, which is nice. Absolutely recommend this place. I mostly get the chicken noodle soup, it's my soul food when I am sick or sad or happy lol. On a serious note, I've lived on this soup few times when I was down with cold and flu. I also like their vegetarian fried rice and sizzling vegetables over rice. Super fresh and insanely delish! First let me say I'm a bit addicted to their fried green beans! YUM. My husband and I have been here a couple times now, but I'm just getting around to a review. If you're looking for atmosphere, this is not your place. BUT if you are looking for amazing flavor at a great price this IS your place. The menu is not huge but the food is really great. And did I mention the fried green beans??? Pad Thai was outstanding. And I have to mention the basil fried rice, incredibly flavorful! Everything we've tried we've loved. I ordered 3 star hot and I will say, it was pretty hot. my wife had 2 star and hers was to her liking and she doesn't get crazy with spicy. portions were good as well. I think on yelp it was labeled as $ but id say it is probably $$, only because for two meals it was $28. This cozy little place is run by two very talented little ladies. Their food is made with all the tender care and skill of an Asian auntie/mommy. My fiance and I wandered in just before 3:00 today after our dentist appointments, and they kindly seated us when we asked to dine in, not knowing that they close for two hours at 3:00 to prep for the dinner rush. So kind of them not to shoo us away. We ordered: 1. Turnip cake appetizer: pan-fried to perfection and served with sweet chili dipping sauce. Oh-so delicious! 2. Crab fried rice (weekly special): delicious with big chunks of REAL crab meat - very good! 3. Beef pad thai: Hands down, THE BEST pad thai I have had in the state! The first thing I noticed was that it was not that strange radioactive orange color. The flavor was bold, sweet and savory without being overly sugary sweet, unlike the typical pad thai you get everywhere else. This is because they do not use ketchup or cane sugar to sweeten the dish, so the flavors are subtle and well-balanced. De-lish! They just opened a few months ago, but already I can see how popular they are, based on all the great Yelp reviews and the numerous to-go orders that came in during our lunch. Check out this lovely gem if you're in the neighborhood - or even if you're not in the neighborhood! It's that good!! Probably the best Thai food I've ever eaten in the United States. The food is very comparable to actual dishes from Thailand. My fiancé and I eat here frequently, it's one of our favorites. We recommend the Pud Kee Mao as well as the Old Fashion Tom Yum Noodle Soup. Make sure you order early, since typical wait time is around 1 hour in the evenings. The restaurant itself has only three tables so don't expect to be seated every time you eat here, you may need to take your order to-go (this often happens during the lunchtime rush). I've been watching for their "OPEN" sign to light up and now they are open! Yesterday I got Pad Thai for carryout. Enough food for me for two lunches and I like to eat. Really tasty. This is the best Thai food around here. No question. Well worth the hour wait and about as authentic as you can get when it comes to street Thai food. Our go-to's are the pad see ew, pad Thai, and the crispy green beans (they're like crack- highly recommend), but we've tried most of the menu and everything we've had is great. They usually have a couple specials and we were excited to see Khao Soi once and more recently Tom Kha. Both were amazing. Only a couple tables so takeout is your best bet. read more

I've been waiting for a really good neighborhood Thai restaurant - especially in the 5 corners area. I came here 2 days ago with a craving for some Pad Thai. Food was DELICIOUS! I ordered it with steamed tofu which was perfect. I would say the food is a bit on the spicy side, but that's just me. If you like spice, but can't stand hot, I would err on the side of less spicy aka 1 instead of 2 stars. I took my order to go but the lady who took my order was nice and wait time was short. Many Thai places make their food sweet, not here. it appears to be authentic Thai, not Americanized. I have to drive over 50 miles to eat here, and I will gladly go out of my way to eat at the Noodle Hut. I don't know the name of the dish I usually eat. I didn't give Noodle Hut 3 stars because the food isn't good, it's delicious and probably some of the best Thai food in the greater Seattle area. I gave it only 3 stars because the spice is inconsistent. I tend to think that I can handle a fair amount of spice but there have been several times when I order a "2 star " but it's really more like a "4 star". I totally understand that authentic Thai cooking is spicy and this is as authentic as Thai Tom, but come on man... at least make a 2 start the same at all times. They gave us a spicy sauce with the Kau Gai and it was the perfect accompaniment. Crispy Pot stickers to die for. Favorite item we ordered was the House Fried Rice. I was so happy to not have the obligatory peas and carrots that most places throw in their rice. Fresh carrots, bean sprouts, tomato, and onion on top. When you walk in decor is not even there. There are only 3 tables. Two 4 tops and a 2 top. So seating for 10 people to dine on max if you can share seating. Most likely you will be ordering togo. When you sit down the older gentleman beings you hot green tea and their paper menu. If you want water you must get it yourself at the water cooler near the door. I usually order the crispy green bean appetizer comes with spicy mayo sauce for dipping. I also usually order the pork special number 1 on the noodles list. Its got a dark sweet star anise tasting broth. I also get the tom yum noodles. Its nice and sour and delicious. I like the crispy wonton wrapper it comes with. But if you get it togo they dont put that crispy wonton in for you. I havent tried the other things on the menu because i like what i get. I wish they would make their desserts more often.
