Loved this place! We ordered the lamb skewers, Mongolian beef noodles, and ramen, and everything was absolutely delicious. The portions were huge, so we definitely got our money's worth. Great food, generous servings, and an overall awesome experience. We'll definitely be coming back!

Talk about some of the BEST homemade noodles I've ever had. Ive never been happier to have left overs to eat tomorrow. The general tso chicken and noodles were 12/10, soup dumplings were 7/10, fried bao's were 7.5/10! I would definitely recommend this place and suggest you support them!

My daughter and I were looking for something to eat before going to visit family . She loves ramen and dumplings. This place had very high ratings on Yelp. We stopped by and had dinner. Upon entry we were greeted by the staff and allowed to sit where ever we desired. It was pretty busy in here and only had two servers working . We were still greeted at our table in a reasonable time. We started off drinks . My daughter had their passion fruit tea with jelly and I had water. She loved the tea but that is her thing . Nice sized cup with jelly candies at the bottom. We order chicken dumplings to start. She had the spicy sesame sauce Ramen and I had Kung Pao Stir Fry. We received the Ramen right away and my stir fry soon after. My daughter loves Ramen but was not to excited about this one . I tasted it too. The broth was kind of tart with and oily taste. Had lots of noodles and vegetables but not a good flavor. The Kung Poa stir fry was not what I expected ( I did not read the part that said sweet sauce). I don't like sweet meat and it is topped with candied peanuts. There was good heat and the rice was cooked spot on. It would have been great if it weren't sweet , but again that was me not paying attention. Now for the main reason for the minus stars. We basically finished what we were going to eat of the entrees and still had not received the dumplings. When my daughter inquired ( she never does ), we were told it was almost done. Mind you we it had been about 20 minutes or more since we ordered them. When we finally received then I really wish we would have started there as they were great. They came with a spicy oil and soy sauce. I don't think we will be back but many people seemed to love this place as it stayed packed. Guess we got the wrong thing .

I've been wanting to swing by this spot for sometime and an errand had me nearby while in town. The weather was terrible outside so a bowl of noodle soup sounded perfect. Food To start we had edamame and steamed pork dumplings, both which were good. The dipping sauce with the dumplings added a nice kick. The tonkotsu garlic ramen was delicious with the right amount of earthy and rich flavors that had depth. The Chinese noodle soup was equally great. If I had to go head to head, I'd probably pick the ramen. Service From the jump we were greeted and advised we could sit anywhere if dining in. We were immediately greeted and our drink / appetizer order taken. Food was quick to arrive and the waitress stopped in frequently to refill water and tea while asking if there was anything we needed. Cost Very reasonable for the quality, service, and portion size. We definitely enjoyed being able to have a meal that wasn't outrageous, which seems to be more and more common with the risings costs everywhere. Overall Look, I don't live near this spot, but if I did, I would be here frequently! I will definitely need to make it out here again as the menu was chalk full of options beyond just soup based dishes. Give it a go!

This place is a must try. I loved the menu and the different options to choose from. There is something for everybody, no doubt. The service was great, Dear was very attentive, funny and patient lol The establishment was spotless and had more than enough seating. I'm pretty vanilla when it comes to meals so I tried something new and OMG it was so good. The flavor was absolutely delicious with the perfect amount of spice/heat. I am looking forward to coming back and trying more things on the menu. This place gave me the confidence in trying things that are usually out of my norm. It's also not too far away from home so it's a win for us. Do yourselves a favor and give them a try.

Great overall experience. The A6 Fried Chicken Spring Rolls (4 pcs) were crispy, not greasy, and well-filled. Both the D2 Pan-Fried Pork Dumplings and D3 Steamed Pork Dumplings were delicious and juicy, with the pan-fried version offering a perfect crisp without feeling heavy. The S3 Sesame Chicken with Hand-Pulled Noodles was flavorful and not spicy, with crispy tempura breading layered over a generous portion of noodles. The Thai Tea was authentic and well-balanced. Everything was well-prepared and satisfying.

So glad that a Lan Zhou style noodle spot opened up in Katy! Our waitress was very bubbly, she talked so fast that it was difficult to understand her at times coming from a native english speaker. The food was delicious. We got the steamed seafood dumplings. Those were well made, great flavor! The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the dipping sauce that came with it complemented it well. The house special lanzhou style beef noodle soup was also delicious but the broth was a bit salty. Good noodle texture and noodle to beef ratio. The oil noodles were my favorite. The noodles were well seasoned and the pork was truly the best bite. Great vegetables to balance.

My family & I finally had the pleasure of trying this place out and we did not regret it! For appetizers, we ordered the fried onion pancakes (nothing special, but still good) & the chicken eggrolls. I was not a big fan of them but my family enjoyed it! We ordered the boiled spicy szechuan fish, beef & broccoli, house special beef soup & a side of broth. It's family style serving so we had a generous amount of everything, including the noodles which were freshly made and amazing! It tasted very authentic & packed with flavor. So if you're used to take out & panda express - and that's what you like... then this may not be up to par with your standards. :) Everything came out in a timely manner, we were sat right away, it was busy but our waitress was very helpful, patient, and attentive.

Wasn't feeling well and was excited to try the ramen. It was absolutely delicious! They have a spicy option but I chickened out and did original with thick noodles. So good and lots of flavors.

Absolutely love this place! When I walked in, you're able to see yourself. Looks like a family owned restaurant and the waitress was extremely nice. I ordered this tea which is strawberry passionfruit, and it's one of the best things I've ever had in my mouth. Large food portions so you will always take some home or to go. I will come back and visit as I have made really great friends with them.

Big portions and always yummy! But be sure to eat as much as you can because the noodle quality doesn't hold up well as left overs.

My boyfriend and I wanted to…read moretry a different ramen spot from our usual ones, so we decided to check out Kizuki in Katy. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the servers are friendly and helpful. We stopped by for an early dinner on a Saturday evening, so the restaurant wasn't yet busy when we got there but started to fill up as we ate. There are so many different ramen options and toppings to choose from. You can choose to get the low sodium option for all the ramen if you prefer, and they also have free unsalted ramen broth refill. They also have other dishes besides ramen, and you can also customize any existing dishes with other toppings as you'd like. I got the Garlic Tonkotsu Shoyu ramen with spinach and corn, and my boyfriend got the Spicy Ramen. Both broths were so rich and flavorful. They were both slightly salty, so we also got the clear broth refill which made them just right. The ramen had a perfect chew, and the toppings were flavorful and delicious. I usually don't like bamboo toppings in ramen because of the ammonia smell, but I tried some bamboo from the Spicy Ramen that my boyfriend got, and it had no strong bamboo smells at all. I was so impressed. I also ordered the Japanese curry with chicken kaarage to-go, and they were also really tasty. I will definitely be back to Kizuki for more in the future.

Something forgotten. Something tasty…read more Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya is a well-dressed ramen shop with an impressive interior design. The food overall was tasty. I was so hungry I forgot to get a photo of the initial presentation, but the noodles were perfect and the broth was tasty. Other than that, it was pretty lackluster: the soft-boiled egg was hard and one of the grossest eggs I've had, and the chashu was cold. We also ordered some chicken karaage, but that never showed, and our waiter was too busy to stop by so I could tell him. I'm not familiar with the ramen scene in Houston, but Kizuki was a huge letdown, especially with their roots to Japan. ご馳走様でした
