All 3 courses were not good at all start 1st with the shrimp. The shrimp was cooked to tough. They were stuck on the skewers and were not easy to remove. The shrimp also was not cleaned and deveined properly. I would rate it a 1 out of 10. The blackened salmon was decent but the risotto that came with it was salty and had hard pieces of rice mixed that were not thoroughly cooked. I'd give it a 3 out 10 just cause the salmon was decent. The jalapeno cilantro infused fettuccini Alfredo sounds like it would be excellent but it was lacking flavor and the plate presentation was sloppy. The dish could have been good but it was lacking flavor and I'd rate it a 3 out of 10. The huckleberry berry shortcake was not good at all the biscuits say they were made from scratch but the tasted store bought and old and the lemon sorbet with the Rosina amaro pairing tasted like medicine. The two 3rd course desserts were the icing on a horrible dinner for restaurant week. Not sure if I'll ever go back to this restaurant.

Nothing fussy, nothing trying too hard, just familiar flavors done right. Portions were generous -- no leaving hungry here. And the meat? Fall-apart soft, done exactly the way it should be. You can tell someone in that kitchen actually cares about getting it right. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Melody went out of her way to make us feel welcome -- checking in, making conversation, treating us like regulars even though it was our first time. That kind of hospitality isn't something you can fake. If you're craving something that feels like a plate lunch back home, this is the spot. We'll definitely be back! Kudos!

The Staff was super awesome and I placed my order and I felt like we didn't sit long to get our orders. We got our orders and the food smelled delicious and awesome so we dug in. I loved the little cucumber salad it was like a pallett cleanser and the little mac salad was pretty good as well. The sauce for the noodles was just super awesome and I ordered chicken as my protein and was cooked to perfection and the noodles didn't seem over or under done. Everything complimented each other and just even smelling the dish put the entire playe together. If you're going to be in the Spokane area, run and don't walk to Island style food & bbq you will not regret it and you'll get your moneys worth as well.

After making our first choices we were really impressed how quickly the meats and other items we choose were delivered to our table. I wish I had asked our servers name so I could give him a huge shout out! He was very friendly, excellent at explaining the process. He also checked back frequently to see what we needed more of. There were many choices of meat and vegetables, sauces and sides. Everything very fresh, well seasoned and marinated. I liked the garlic chicken and the brisket the most. The bulgogi beef, carne asada beef and miso chicken were also favorites for our group. The kimchi was some of the best we have had in a long time and the vegetable and kimchi pancakes were crunchy in the outside and soft on the inside, both were good but we liked the kimchi one better. The restaurant was very clean and decorated nicely. Every staff member that we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. This was a great special occasion treat for us. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Grilling your own food at the table really is something we should all do at least once. Besides, at Seng's it's all you can eat and as long as you eat most of all you cook, the staff is more than happy to provide more meat choices and ingredients. The staff were quite helpful and very efficient. The place was clean and quiet. And the exhaust system was quite powerful, you almost didn't even notice the smoke so it was a delight to eat without worrying about anything other than eating what we cooked!

The food here is fantastic. My sashimi was fresh and beautiful, with big portions. My two friends I…read morewas with each got rolls and loved the portions and flavor-- we've gone to several sushi places in Spokane and this is our favorite for the deliciousness of everything we tried. So, as far as the basics of quality ingredients and crafted sushi/sashimi, Sushi Blossom is tops. The reason for only four stars is the service. It was busy (we were there at 6 pm on a Tuesday, so also a great nod to how good it is here that the place was bustling on a weeknight). But our service was really pretty poor. I have no desire to put a young lady working as a server on blast, so I'll just say we waited an extra-long time, and felt as a table like we were irritating or inconveniencing our server, though we ordered right away, had no adjustments to what we ordered, and just sat waiting a long time patiently. We didn't complain, and thanked our server when she brought our food. But if I'd been with someone who didn't already love Sushi Blossom and was my guest, this would have felt pretty embarrassing, like we were doing something wrong by being customers. However, that was just one young lady on one night out of LOTS of dining experiences at Sushi Blossom, most of which have been excellent. So we'll happily be back, and put this one experience behind us. The food, once again, is so, so good. If you're looking for great sushi in Spokane, this is a fantastic place to try!
