I just recently moved back from Northern California and had yet to find a delicious noodle spot, and this is the place. Although there isn't ramen on the menu, it didn't matter! My beef noodle soup was made extremely fresh, the beef was tender enough to rip with my chopsticks and the broth had so much flavor I couldn't get enough! The customer service was absoLOUTELY amazing, the cashier's were extremely friendly and helpful. First of all, I already know I love Noodleholics from the grant location but this location has a few dishes that the grant location doesn't. Also, my boyfriend says the meat on the 2 meat mix plate (not pictured) was better than the grant locations. Very friendly staff and cute mural! Noodleholics is a blessing to the town of Oro Valley. We have been long overdue for a great noodle place and you've exceeded my expectations. The Guilin Spicy and Sour was straight up addictive. BBQ Pork was great and served with absolutely perfectly cooked baby Bok Choy. The wings are probably the best I've ever had, and I love that I'd never expect to find them here. We're coming back for the Dandan and Sichuan Beef. We visited after a friend suggested your spot and we will be sure to pass on the great recommendation to every one of we know. Summary: Nice ambiance, great menu, friendly service, fast order fulfillment, tasty food, reasonable prices, generous serving size. Four of us for lunch today, first visit and I'll be back! Typical fast casual service model where you order the counter and get a number and they bring your food out to you. We got an order of the Chaoshou dumplings to share, and the spice and flavor took the edge of our hunger off as we waited for our main meal to arrive. We liked that you could actually taste the flavor of the noodle dough in the dumplings and they had just the right amount of heat. I had a glass of the milk tea, which is really tasty. I had the Taiwan Beef, and it was a good thing I was really hungry. Generous slices of very tender beef shank, baby bok choy, tons of noodles and plentiful delicious beef broth. I was so full I couldn't finish the broth even tough I really wanted to. My wife had the Dry Guilin (she has gluten issues so nice to have rice noodle dish options), and though it was very good she described it as a bit "boring". She regretted getting it dry, as the broth adds a lot of flavor. Our companions had the Dandan noodles and Sizzling Garlic. The Dandan is not the same as you might find in a Szechuan restaurant, but was pronounced wonderful nonetheless. The sizzling garlic didn't seem so spicy while she was eating it, but after finishing it the taste really lingered on her palate. They have a bar area on the other side of the wall which looks like it will be a nice addition. The outdoor seating looked nice, but it was too hot on the day we were there and I was concerned that there would be a lot of traffic noise. Oh, I should add that the servers were very nice - smiles all around, and someone stopped by a couple of times to make sure everything was OK and to see if we needed anything else. This place has amazing house made noodles with delicious chew and flavor. The Taiwan beef soup I had today has the lightly sweet and bittersweet licorice aroma often found in Pho. The slices of beef are tender and accompanied by pickled greens, bok choy, green onion and cilantro. It is a a big hug in a bowl. I also love to get the sizzling garlic noodles! If you are a lover of spice and layers of flavor, order that! The garlic cucumber was a nice fresh light bite in between the deep bites of the soup. Eggs rolls are a good side dish and the pickled greens and bamboo is something I always order and also order extra to take home. Slightly tangy and a hit of spice makes it the perfect acidic kick to anything on the menu. I have Noodleholics about every week and was consistently going to the Tanque Verde and Grant location for the longest time and it is excellent. Unfortunately, the Oro Valley location has not met the expectations as much as the other locations. I moved up to the north side so this location is the closest. The spicy and sour broth is very inconsistent every time I get it. One week it's way too sour and I mean WAY too sour, then another week it's perfect, then another week there is no sourness at all. Another week I got the sizzling garlic and it was very very dry, hardly any sauce, then the other week the noodles were drenched in the vinegar sauce. The noodles are also a hit or miss, I recently got the spicy and sour again and bits of the noodles were hard and undercooked. I hate writing this review as I love Noodleholics, but the Oro Valley locations needs to do better on being consistent with the quality of their meals. read more

The food was sooooooooo not worth the price. It was my mom, my brother and I and for three entres and two orders of dumplings was like $70! With that price you expect it to be amazing but omg no. The chicken is so obviously boiled and didn't taste like anything. It was so overpriced for the quality of the food. It felt very modern but also just cold and didn't even smell like food in there. As for food taste, loved the wheat noodles and meat was soft and tender (but also kind of fatty, which my husband didn't like). Cons: they need more options for drinks (wish they had boba) as well as food choices. Wasn't a fan of the broth and just a warning if it has the SPICY chili pepper, best believe it's SPICY AF!! Both vegetarian options were spicy so I didn't really have a choice there. I feel that they are charging Miss Saigon prices but this place would be considered "fast food noodles". Many people who move to Tucson have the nerve to whine about the Mexican food here, but for my loved ones, it is the loss of properly prepared and more traditional Asian cuisines that we'll occasionally miss. Is this your problem too? Noodleholics is here to help! We ordered on #Grubhub, 8 pm (close to closing) and everything was still excellent. We ordered several servings of the following to go with our own Japanese, short grain rice...that we happened to have on hand. Quick dinner! BBQ Pork - 9.50 Crispy Pork - 9.00 Boy Choy - 3.00 Kimchee - 4.00 UTENSILS - Yes (plastic forks & paper napkins) My company can't tolerate spicy food (spice sensitivity), so I added a special instruction for "no spice" 9n the dishes just in case. In example: noticed the beautiful pic of the #BokChoy had perhaps some chili bits as a garnish. Noodleholics kindly separated the sauces and put them into little, plastic containers inside the bok choy -- alas, one STILL opened and leaked, but I ate that container and the requested napkins absorbed a lot of the mess. We forgave them for the efforts and still gave a 5 star review! Otoh, I enjoy spice, and very much wanted to try their kimchee! It's a treat, perfectly pickled and spiced (medium), great texture, with notes of ginger that I loved -- paired well with the food too! The styrofoam container of kimchee was placed into a small plastic bag that caught all the red pickling juice; when I stored the leftovers, you bet I added the juice to it -- good stuff, especially in soups. The "Crispy Pork" is truly crispy, I can see how it would work well in soups, but I very much enjoyed it as is. The unctious layer of fat was welcomed and the perfect balance to the meat and fried skin. The BBQ Pork had the delightful smell and texture that we remembered, a little dry by itself, but still plenty tasty. Again, would work very well in soup for sure. Whenever someone wants Asian food, this is the first place I recommend! My bf and I are Asian and this is the only Asian place we go to in Tucson (with the exception of sushi places). I prefer Noodleholics over pho and ramen. My family also enjoys this place a lot. This location is bigger than the Grant location and offers all the same great menu items (plus a few extra). The cucumbers, wings, and crab puffs are among my favorite apps. My brother actually orders multiple apps as his entree because they're tasty! My go to is the spicy and sour Guilin (although you'll find me devouring the sizzling garlic on occasion). Crispy pork, bbq pork and pig intestine are my go to proteins. The food comes out hot and quick. Service is excellent and the space is clean and wheelchair accessible. Plenty of parking too. The prices are very reasonable. read more

My family and I are new to Tucson, when we heard of Noodoholics we put it on our list of places to try. There are so many options to choose from on the menu ! From all the noodle bowls, sharable appetizers and rice plates ! The crispy roasted pork is delicious ! We also love that the oro valley location serves Chow Mian and Chow fun, super delicious ! When the doctor approved me for soft foods diet, I knew exactly where to celebrate. I ordered the house won ton soup. I love that it comes with a variety of meat - ginger chicken, bbq pork, shrimp, and ground pork won tons. Everything was very tasty. You can tell the noodles are scratch-made could drink cups of the broth all day. My kids split the bbq pork and rice plate. They also offer chicken noodle soup as part of their kids menu. I love Noodleholics, but I wish this location was as savory as the central location on Grant. The same dishes at this location are very bland compared to Grant. Like the sizzling garlic noodles are lacking some flavor and fat. The dry Guilin is also very bland compared to Grant location. Maybe they are catering to the OV customers that may not like spicy foods? I wish the two locations chefs could get together and agree on the same recipes. That said, OV has lo mein which I love and wish Grant would make it too. We still love it, but try to wait to eat at Grant location when we're over on that side of town. read more

I've lived in China, and I have spent a lot of time in Guilin. Guilin rice noodles are a local delicacy that most places in China outside of Guilin get wrong. When I say noodleholics did a good it is a compliment. A lot of the ingredients are local to Guilin and don't ship well. If you want to get a good idea of what Guilin rice noodles are like without traveling aboard, then give them a try. read more

Sad to report that the food was baaaad: not exaggerating, literally each bite had enough salt for an entire buffet tray of noodles, and the noodles were strangely soft, like turning into mush. Further, everything was drowning in oil despite having selected their option of "less oil"--one bok choy in my noodle dish had like a quarter cup of oil gush forth from it when I removed it from the salt mine of a bowl of noodles. I had Covid during the entire Christmas holiday. During one of my covid days my daughter went to Noodleholics and came back with a wonderful bowl filled with broth, veggies and a little chicken. Service was quick and efficient. Little waiting. If you choose to eat inside -- there's more than enough space. This bowl lasted me for 3 servings!
