Ordered the cold meat appetizer and the spicy cumin lamb while the wife ordered the Cream Cheese wonton aka Crab Rangoon without the crab and the Mongolian Beef. it had been a while since enjoying a take out meal, and we both had a craving for Chinese vegetarian/seafood. based upon previous experience, we knew that this was THE perfect eatery that would satisfy us. Unfortunately, the online ordering system was down, so my much better half called our selections in, and I would pick it up in my eBikeKit-assisted CruzBike. Once there, I easily parked side the large plate glass window in the shade, ready to enter, when I heard a family just departing a closeby studio discussing where to eat. I (politely) interrupted and strongly recommended this fine eatery, in particular emphasizing the dumplings. They took My suggestion and appeared to be enjoying a lovely meal. Usually have great service here, but today we called when they opened at 10:30am and the lady on the phone said we couldn't order because "they just opened." Not sure if due to other review about soy sauce, they changed seasoning but... ordered combo fried noodles. Wish it had a bit more veggies and seasoning. The dumplings however were excellent!! The looks of the meal is pretty good. I would say that presentation is definitely a 10 out of 10 for this place. Flavor tho? Definitely not up to par with dumplings I've had previously in my life. I have been to traditional dumpling places in Asia and I have also been to nontraditional dumpling restaurants, this place wouldn't even be considered a dumpling place in my opinion. Very poor flavor profile. Not a ton of umami. Everything was pretty bland and I needed to add tons and tons of sauces to even get myself to eat half my meal. We had both the dumplings and a spicy soup. It was so unremarkable that I can't even remember the type of soup I had. It was quite busy, and so they may have just been swamped with the amount of customers they had?? But, it just wasn't a great experience for me and my sister who are pretty big foodies. Her and I have eaten in tons of places across the United States and around the world. This place doesn't even make it in my top 300 restaurants. Doesn't even make it in my top 300 Asian restaurants. Every time I visit my son in El Paso, we always get take out from here.  Its always fresh, tasty and plenty of food!

Usually this place is pretty good. Not very full, server does his job, chefs make pretty good food, and the atmosphere is alright. Today however I was let down a little. They seem to be understaffed which is a shame, it took about 15 minutes to get a glass of water. I ordered xiao lang bao which I love from this place and it took them a little longer than usual to have those out but I wasn't in too big of a hurry to get mad at them for it. The bao is usually really good but it had somewhat of a weird taste this time. Overall I'm not sure if it was just rush hour or what but the service was bad and I hope that next time I come it is better, definitely give them a chance if you're around! read more

The food quality is not good, during the meal the food tasted ok for being an Asian restaurant in TX but that was it. I am woken up in the middle of the night...because I'm super thirsty....why you ask?? MSG galore....I cannot handle msg very well and I'm here sitting in the toilet in the middle of the night at 2:43am because of the food. So do I like it? Yeah....I don't think so. Usually eating ramen, but with so many places being closed I wanted to try this place. I visited the express location near UTEP So this location was a bit small and seeing how its during COVID, I opted to eat outside on a small table they had near the kitchen. A good decision then but a bad decision later. Not having been to this place before I asked the waitress what her recommendation would be, on the account that I like ramen. She said that I would like the braised beef with hand pulled noodles. I saw that there was a mild spicy level next to it and asked how spicy that would be seeing how I cant handle spicy stuff too much (health issues...) She told me it wasn't too bad and that I wouldn't taste that much of it. Not reading all the condiments that go on the noodles they came out with cilantro. Of course the person I was with has that gene where cilantro tastes like soap to them so it was a little ruined for him. The noodles that came out were perfect and well made and cooked. chewy yet and as tough as you would have thought. The broth was mild and not as hot as the waitress had said it was. the beef was tender, soft, and had a nice texture. This being somewhere that even with braces you can eat and not have to chew too hard. When I was finished eating the soup base settled to the bottom and thus I found myself drinking the whole glass of water as this is where the spiciness of the dish was held. The only reason why I give this place 4 out of 5 stars was the cooking staff and the location of where I sat outside. It was right next to the kitchen and near the "break area" for the cooks. While about finishing one of the cooks stepped outside and was smoking a cigarette. While flicking his ash, A bunch of it came floating down into our food. I understand that this is my fault by sitting outside but the cooks just need to move to the side a bit not to get any foreign contaminants into peoples food read more

We tried the chicken fried rice, chicken fried noodles, orange chicken, & the spicy cumin beef entree. The orange chicken came with pieces of orange peel. It had a really good taste to it. Not good. We ate at Noodles and dumplings on Mesa St.The food looked amazing but the fried noodles had a ton of soy sauce . That's all I tasted soy sauce. I got the fried noodles with shrimp and for $15 plate you'd expect to have more shrimp I had maybe 3-5 small shrimp and a ton of noodles. Prob will not be returning.
