I ordered online and I was truly disappointed.... They have what they call a duo, which is a dish, including a salad. I ordered two of those, and when I receive my order, one of the main dishes was not inside the bag..... which happened to be my main dish! I've been sick the entire weekend so I decided to DoorDash saw a commercial for Noodles and Company and thought that I would give it a try boy was it a wrong decision ! The plastic bowls that contained the two salad salads, and one main dish, barely had any food in them at all like I don't know what they were trying to save it for because it turned out that it was really bad. The only thing that I enjoyed out of the whole order was the garlic cheese bread with marinara sauce. DoorDash refunded me my money, but it was also suggested that I called noodles and Company to see if maybe I could at least get the main dish. Well I did call the store and a young lady answered. She was very nice about the whole situation, but could not give me or get to me the dish that I did not receive... because they do not have delivery at their store. I was not able to get my main dish so needless to say I never even got to taste the stroganoff dish and as far as my salad was concerned, I had to add lettuce to it because it was just tomatoes and spinach very very disappointed in the service of the to go online ordering there's even a checkmark on the receipt saying that it's in the bag and it was not in the bag and as everyone knows the bag once it is sealed, it cannot be opened by The online DELIVER ! So they couldn't even check to make sure that everything was inside the bag just very disappointed in the online service. I've decided that I will try to go in house and try a meal and see if it's different but as for the online, ordering no way no how once again very disappointed.!! The first time I was in, I asked if I could substitute the noodles for the cauliflower gnocchi on the Japanese Pan Noodles entree. The cashier didn't know what I was saying. She didn't know what a gnocchi was. I pointed at the menu on the board and explained four times. She didn't still understand. So I ordered the Cauliflower Gnocchi Rosa with tofu and she entered it into the computer and took my money. I just went in today, and ordered a regular sized Japanese Pan noodles with tofu... I didn't attempt the gnocchi game this time. I have an email on my phone that says I would get a free side of Mac and cheese with a regular sized entree. I showed the email to the cashier, who said "sorry it's not coming up on your rewards, there's nothing I can do. It's probably for delivery only" I asked again and she read the email. It does not state for delivery only, it states "on your next visit". She wouldn't do anything or get a manager to help. I'm shocked at how the quality of Noodles and Company has declined significantly over the past couple of years. During my most recent visit the food was mediocre for the falling reasons: 1) I noticed a piece of onion skin in my Penne Rosa. This is not the worst thing that could happen but is something that could be easily fixed by paying more attention when preparing ingredients. 2) The cheese in the Mac and Cheese wasn't fully melted. 3) The "large" chicken noodle soup was shockingly small. 4) The pasta lacked flavor and was very bland. 5) The cashier could have followed up and asked if we wanted protein. We made the mistake of assuming that chicken is included. 6) The bread was super hard. If I was the general manager of this place I'd be ashamed. Very dissappointed with customer service. My daughter ordered dinner for us last night which included three rice crispy treats online. My husband and I stopped by the Arvada Noodles and Company location near 80th and Wadsworth tonight. I couldn't say more about how gracious and helpful the people who served me were! The food was your average Noodles fare but Jalen Wolf, the young man who took my order, responded extremely well when I returned to the counter with my food and asked if it could be reheated. (I am very picky about my food and prefer it to be HOT!) Jalen offered a sincere apology and when he turned towards the cooking area, a second employee named Ben offered to reheat my food on the grill by sautéing it for me. That was the perfect solution for me. Ben one of the cooks, was also very gracious and charming when he presented me with my reheated food, which was now delicious. Jalen checked back with me to make sure I was now happy with my food and offered me a free dessert or beverage for the inconvenience. You know when you have those moments of weakness and you find yourself in a place you know you shouldn't be? That is where I found myself this afternoon, and boy do I regret it.
