Horrible experience. I came in on a Saturday evening around 9:15 PM--well before the 10 PM closing time--thinking it would be fine to grab a late dinner. Unfortunately, it was a huge mistake. I ordered the broccoli and lemon side dish, which came out as a bowl of plain broccoli and swimming in water piece of pasta. It was honestly gross--it looked like either the dishes weren't cleaned properly or I was served leftovers from someone else's plate. I also ordered the shrimp scampi, and what I got was a pile of hard, undercooked noodles--no shrimp at all. I approached the counter to ask about the missing shrimp, and the staff barely reacted. After 15 minutes, someone brought me six shrimp in cold butter sauce. That was it. I understand it was close to closing, but 45 minutes should still be enough time to prepare a proper meal. Nothing was communicated, and the food was unacceptable. I won't be coming back. read more

When you walk in they have a huge menu board (picture included) with the detailed of every dish. And it's right at eye level no breaking your neck trying to figure out what you want. Plus, at the counter when you order, there is also the traditional board up high to break your neck without the detailed description. Pretty cool. Music wasn't too loud and the place looks clean. I noticed employees kept coming out wiping tables. The guy behind counter was inviting, warm and helpful to my experience. He even explained the dish I had questions about. I had the spicy Korean noodles and was a little sweater than spicy. Still good and I did enjoy my meal. I would suggest if your trying to decide between regular bowl or large. Go large. Came in for quick lunch on Black Friday. * I'd like note that I am very familiar with noodles & co, but my first experience at this location* Ordered spicy Korean steak noodles. Kids had chicken Alfredo and a kids Mac and cheese. It's 12:45, we came inside to eat, it is not busy at all. My order came out definitely more on the smaller portion. I had exactly 5 pieces of steak poorly done and fatty. 2 sprigs of cilantro. (I asked for more) the proportion size was mediocre as I asked for a full. Not well put together. The restaurants I've been in are usually very clean. We had flies flying around us while eating. Very disturbing. I won't order from this location again. May I say how much I've missed Noodles & Co. since I left Denver? 4 years and 2 states later, I come across one restaurant in Arizona! Yum! I had the 3 cheese tortellini on my first visit. Hubby ordered penne with shrimp. Took it home and found mine was made with penne pasta . Sad face, but it was good. Last night, Hubs and I stopped by for dinner . Ordered the same as last time. We'll, he ordered extra shrimp. After he picked out the veggies, he claims they are against his religion , and enjoyed it. We recently moved to the area and decided to try this place out. They have a wide selection of noodle dishes, all which looked amazing. After some help from the store manager, Valerie, I decided on the Spicy Korean dish and my wife had the Japanese Udon noodles with steak. We also added a side of dumplings. This place was pretty good. They do have a drive thru but you have to order ahead in order to pick it up by drive thru which is convenient. The service was good, the cashier was really nice and the place was clean! They have a large menu and everything looked really good. The only thing I wasn't to crazy about was the parm chicken was pretty salty and they were all out of grilled chicken so I had to get parm chicken instead. I do see myself going again to try more of the Asian noodle dishes and the Mac and cheese! Also , this place would be awesome if you could ask for dishes to be extra spicy. I originally ate at the L st location in Omaha, NE while visiting my son and was HOOKED from day one. Their zucchini noodles were great with everything. It's hard to eat long pasta noodles due to a disability because they choke. So those worked great. I got back to AZ and thought it was the same here. But no. They don't have zucchini noodles. So I substituted for rigatoni when I ordered. Nope. I got the fettuccine and the taste was not that great. I thought I'd give them another try since I thought maybe someone had been in training or just having a bad day last time. I not only got fettuccine instead of rigatoni, I also got undercooked shrimp. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from there again. I can't give it a 1. Although it wasn't the best tasting, it also wasn't throw in the trash bad. Except for the undercooked shrimp the second time. But the first time, at least I could eat those and the veggies. The male bathroom was disgusting (my son was grossed out), I ordered a Mediterranean salad and was not informed they were out of the corresponding dressing (I would not have ordered), the orange chicken was anything but, my kids meals looked like they were overheated in the microwave. Ordered the Grilled Orange Chicken Lo Mein and the Spicy Korean Beef noodles. Each dish was almost $12, and neither the portion size nor quality justified that price. Have you ever had one of those frozen noodle dinners that you pop into the microwave? These tasted just like that. Sauce was so overly sweet that it was putting me off. The noodles were MUSHY and soaked in a blob of that disgusting sauce. Hardly any meat in the dishes, although its not that much of a complaint though since the meat was dry and flavorless. I had tried the Noodles place on Bell road YEARS ago and never went back... now I remember why. I will never be going back to this one either, which is a shame since I live around the corner and it would be great to have another good food option. Save your time and money and don't eat here. Went here last night with my family and no one wants to help their customers. Girl at cash register - completely stoic and girl behind the counter with two braids - rude. Asked a question and cash register girl said yeah we can do that went and asked and girl in braids laughed and said we don't do that so instead of following up, they chose just to ignore us. Our first time here and not impressed. For a new location, they were out of many things! We both tried to order different cauliflower dishes, but they were out of cauliflower. Chicken parm was tender, tasty with lot of sauce. But marinated steak with noodles very dry, definitely needed more sauce, noodles overcooked and chewy. Then they had no pepper packets in place, and dishes both needed pepper. They finally brought out a pepper shaker from kitchen which was almost empty, and he waited to take shaker back to kitchen. Over-priced for fast food, $30 for two entrees and one small drink! Can eat lunch at nearby Chinese restaurant for much less than this price, with soup and egg rolls, and much better! read more
