Overall it was quiet and service was good. Food quantity was very small compared to price and other places. We ordered large size and it was partially full. I've done the online ordering twice and both times I've had issues with the accuracy of the order. I've tried to add extra meat to my Buff Bowl. The first time it just didn't get added to my actual bowl. The next time they substituted the meat, but still charged me the extra money. The actual online ordering experience is fairly painless and fast, but I don't think the employees are reading the orders correctly. The next time, I'll order the extra meat on the side just so I can be sure I'm getting it. As for the food, it's okay. The aforementioned Buff Bowls are not exceptionally delicious, but they are reasonably healthy and a good option if you're looking to cut down on carbs. The staff here is pretty friendly. Just sat down for a late lunch. I've always wanted to try this chain. I got the pad tai with chicken. The people working were friendly enough. The food was nice and hot with a bit of a kick! When I went to get real silverware though, I was disgusted to see all were dirty! I told the girl who took my order, she said I'll get you plastic. A pretty average fast-casual place for when you're craving pasta. I definitely used to enjoy coming here a lot more when it first opened, and have tried a variety of their dishes over the years. The customer service is quite consistently good. Unfortunately, as time has passed, the prices have gone up and the quality and portion sizes have gone down. I feel like all their pastas need more salt to bring out the flavors from the sauces. All the dishes as they are very bland. The pesto one had almost no flavor. Also all the dishes come with very little sauce leaving them very dry. Also the pasta for the Mediterranean dish and Japanese dish were undercooked. I had called in to check if this location was taking dine in because the website indicated that they're not, and had a quick conversation with the bubbliest, sweetest woman! I came in and recognized the voice of the cashier that was helping my daughter and I and it was the same person. Kelly had the most welcoming greeting! She was kind, she was friendly and patient. After placing our order I wanted to commend her and her behavior to a manager, and was not surprised to find out that in fact it was her! The place is clean. The customer service is nice. I ordered cheesy bread, meatballs, and potstickers for appetizers. They are good overall, but the cheesy bread doesn't look like the picture. It is just regular bread with cheese that gets baked. I ordered Thai curry noodles with shrimp and spicy Korean beef noodles for entree. They are pretty good, better than my expectation. My overall rating is probably more of a 3.5 star rating however I am currently in the New Years Eve spirit so I'm giving them a .5 star increase. I like Noodles & Company. I've tried a number of different noodle dishes here and the one that I like the best is the Barbecue Pork Mac dish. It most definitely isn't the healthiest dish but it sure does taste good. Fyi, if you are going to come here during the lunch hours you might want to get here early or order online or over the phone because this place can get pretty packed during lunch time. Also this place establishment isn't very big so be sure to be mindful of that if you plan on eating at this location. My latest visit I wanted to try something different so I decided to get the Pesto Cavatappi with a small chicken noodle soup. Now the Pesto Cavatappi wasn't all that good but it wasn't that bad either in my opinion. However I'm glad that I got the soup because it was surprisingly delicious. Meh. I got the regular Pesto Cavatappi with shrimp, side of chicken noodle soup and potstickers. My noodle dish was barely warm and lacked taste, came with hardly any pieces of tomatoes and even less mushrooms. The soup was warm but I actually liked its taste and heartiness. The potstickers were not hot at all and had a rubbery wrapper, but the filling was tasty. On the other hand, the teen raved about his Steak Stroganoff as did the husband about his Spicy Chicken Caesar sandwich. Both also enjoyed the soup and potstickers. Though the food was ok (for me), I must say the customer service was great, especially from the guy who brought our food and cleared our table (sorry I didn't get his name). Will probably come back for a second try, at the urging of the teen and husband, so hopefully my food will be better and more stars can be given. read more

I was so excited when I saw a Noodles & Company was opening here in Herndon, because I've always wanted to try it. Went tonight for the first time and it was delicious! I had the Pesto Cavatappi and my husband has the Bacon Hamburger Mac & Cheese. It was hard to decide which one we liked better! They were both really good. We both got the 'regular' size portions, but it seemed like my husband had more on his plate than me. The fountain drinks were sweet and not weak/watered down. The interior of the restaurant was very nice and trendy and all the staff were friendly. Our food was prepared and brought to our table quickly. This is truly a place that has "something for everyone" and can do no wrong in my book because the dishes are cooked to order, the service is friendly and quick, and the food is good and as indulgent or as healthy as you feel like it should be. I know this is a chain restaurant, but there are no locations in my home area. That makes it a good place to visit when traveling. The basic buttered noodles with parrmesan chicken, along with a small order of garlic bread, makes for a pretty filling and tasty meal. Adding a large cookie makes for a good dessert and a decent meal, all for about $12.00. Not that price is the most important part of a meal, but it helps. Definitely a good place to go. I typically go for the pesto cavatapi with shrimp but this time ventured into the rest of the menu. Started with a chicken noodle soup that was really good and had a spicy cesar wrap. Because this is fairly close to where I work we have ordered dishes from here on multiple times. We will go through the website to order and it is always ready for pick-up at the time of our choosing. The "Regular" servings are huge. It has always been tasty and hot. I have not had a bad noodle yet. My favorite right now is the "Spicy Korean Beef Noodles", it always satisfies. To be fair I have tried a couple of other dishes and some did seem a little lacking on flavor for me but my office mates loved it. We order several times a month and I don't think twice if it is suggested as the lunch spot for the day. The side salads are usually cool, crisp and also spot on.
