It has been a while since I have had noodles & company. I always have liked the restaurant when I am wanting some quick take out pasta. This is not what I remember about the pasta chain. I was pretty disappointed. Maybe it is just this specific location but it just was not on par with any other experience I have had with them. The spicy korean beef dish I selected was almost 12 dollars and contained not much meat at all. It was almost like a chefboyardee pasta. The mac and cheese that was in the kids plate is not at all what I remember getting and looked microwaved as someone else said. The rice krispy treats did seem the same as they used to be and I still think those are some of the best rice krispy treats around. Inside was rather dim and empty which was kind of strange for it being a friday night during dinner hour right in front of a busy target. I visited Noodles & Co. during my one week stay at Purdue University. Of the nearly 20 restaurants that I tried, I would most definitely rank Noodles & Co. as one of the bottom two. I spent 5-10 minutes waiting for my order to be taken, and the cashier looked as if she did not want to be there. I was initially excited to try Noodles & Co. since I was homesick for noodles. Upon walking in, I was impressed at the wide selection of noodles. I ordered Zucchini Noodles with Grilled Chicken Combo with a side of Mac and Cheese. The Zucchini Noodles surprised me, since it was just zucchini... but I attributed that to my lack of knowledge. The grilled chicken was acceptable, but it was rather dry and tasteless. The portions were also skimpy. My side of Mac and Cheese was what took the cake though. It almost felt like microwaved mac and cheese soaked in cheese soup. The cheese was extremely runny and watery, and in fact it even had a noodle piece on it! I left with the impression that Noodles & Co. is an example of "jack of all trades, good at none" type of restaurant. I haven't eaten at Noodles & company for several years, but remembered their Ceasar salad with grilled chicken was very good. The girl that brought our food to the car was very pleasant and couldn't have been nicer. When I opened my salad when I got home I found that the chicken was raw in the middle, so was unable to eat any of my salad. VERY disappointing. In reply to the Noodles & Company employee who left a comment and asked me to fill out a survey: I just completed my survey (11/20/2020). However, my daughter, who actually paid for my inedible meal, filled out your survey within an hour of getting our food on 11/12. As of today, she still has not heard from a representative of Noodles & Company. read more

This is a beautiful new stand alone site near Target. The sitting area is a good size with very high ceilings that makes it feel even larger. Great music playing and a very friendly staff. Most importantly the food preparation was excellent. I mean the best I have had when compared to other NnC locations around the country, even Chicago. I ordered my standard Pad Thai with grilled shrimp, and it was fabulous. Very balanced flavors and ingredients with just the right amount of oils, which is key. If I had known how nice it was I would have opted to dine in and enjoy the music. Highly recommend this location. read more

Noodles is a safe bet for something fresh and healthy in the fast food category. Lots of menu items from which to choose and customize. The staff are friendly and helpful. Noodles offers a frequent customer experience through their phone app. Overall probably 3.5 stars in my book, but I'm rounding down due to lukewarm temperature of the food and extreme cold temperature in seating area. This is a great restaurant near Target. They have many menu options for pasta such as spaghetti and Mac and cheese. My favorite is the buffalo Mac and cheese. They have gluten free options and zucchini noodles too. My husband had the gluten free pasta and thought it was delicious. He is celiac and had no difficulty eating here due to his good allergy. Staff was very courteous and helpful. They have a coke machine where you can choose different flavors. There is also a cute little patio if you like to eat outside. They're are usually not too busy so there's a short wait. I highly recommend this place if you're a pasta lover! read more

The employees were shouting their personal drama in front of customers, making sure to get their points across before acknowledging customers.. the food was brought to us in to-go containers even though we opted to "dine-in." At lunch yesterday, I ordered from the Yelp app which is processed by Grubhub and was given an estimated pickup time of 12:44. That seemed like long time but realized it was lunchtime on a Friday. I had a 1pm Webex but knew I could grab my lunch and get back to the office in time for the meeting. I showed for pickup at exactly 12:44 and waited a few minutes to be recognized. I told the associate I had an internet order. She proceeded to tell me that they had been too busy to ring any Grubhub orders. After a few more minutes she had someone ring in the Grubhub orders. I thought they would put mine up next so I could still grab my lunch and get back to the office. No such luck. At 12:56 I could wait no longer and left without lunch. Morale of the story don't order if you don't have more than an hour and expect your order to not be started until you show up for pickup. I have been eating there about once a month since they opened. I always enjoyed the spicy Korean noodles but can get a similar dish from Corelife which has never failed to deliver food on time. This place is delicious and awesome! I didn't wait in line long at all. When the line started to get long, a second cashier came up and helped the line get smaller. It was a little crowded but not noisy. We didn't wait long for our food. It came out hot me very very delicious. The lobby and bathrooms were clean too which is a huge plus. This new Noodles & Company on the east side of Lafayette joins the location in the Village in West Lafayette which I have frequented. Although Noodles is a sort of fast food type of pasta restaurant, the food is good quality and worth a few extra dollars at lunch. If you're not familiar with the menu, it's a mix of Asian, Italian and American pasta dishes. You order meatless, and meat is an extra charge. The small portion is plenty for lunch. I still have to drive a bit from work to get to this new location, but it will be a nice change of pace from my usual haunts closer to work. read more

Me and my teammates were starving on our 5 hour bus ride home from camp. We took a quick lunch stop at noodles and company and were greeted with a rude stare. One of the workers even took a picture of us!! They had no consent and they didn't have a reason to do so. They told us they could only make 5 meals at a time and would have to finish making the 5 orders before taking a new one. Got some quick take out with hubby, we were pleasantly surprised! Haven't eaten at Noodles & Co in a while. I got the Cavatappi with pesto and chicken, which was surprisingly generous and fresh. Hubby got the pasta with chicken, and sauce that came with spinach leaves, which he also felt was surprisingly generous! It seems they have upgraded their menu options, and have a more significant variety of dishes including healthy options. We ordered via the online system and it was nice to customize options! Came in for dinner on a Wednesday night at 6pm. Short line, moved fast....ordered one regular bowl, and one small bowl. Food came out hot and fresh in about 6 minutes. Tasted great....if you've ever been to a Noodles before and had a good experience, this location will provide you with the same. On a side note, there are no issues here with portion sizes, like there is at the Chicagoland area stores...up there, portions have shrunk by 3-5 ozs with no reduction in price. If I were reviewing the menu and options, I would be giving this place 5 stars, and if I were reviewing the customer service, I would give 1 star. But as I am reviewing the restaurant in its entirety, they get 2 stars. I flew in from California late in the afternoon on Saturday 11/23/19 and it was cold and I was hungry, so I came here for my first and only visit. I have a lot of food allergies and they have many options for people like myself, but when I would ask a question about an entree, the cashier did not know (not her fault - she seemed new), so she would relay that question to the presumed manager on duty. [I say "presumed" because I didn't notice a name tag and she never identified herself as such, so this is an assumption based upon the dynamics between the two individuals.] I had ~3-4 questions before I finally ordered. Each and every time the cashier relayed my question to the presumed manager on duty, she would come to the counter with an attitude. With my final question prior to ordering, she actually turned to me and said, and I quote, "What's the problem?" I'm sure my jaw dropped at this point! And for perspective, I have worked in both retail and food service so I am extra lenient when critiquing encounters in either field because customers can be insanely unreasonable and you never know what unpleasantness happened right before you got to the counter or what stress is happening behind the scenes. But even with a large grain of salt, this was a truly awful experience. Regardless of whether she was annoyed with me because of my many specific questions or whether she was frustrated with the cashier for not knowing the answers, the manner in which I was addressed was unacceptable. OMG!!!!! We ended up here in Lafayette due to our car breaking down on a Sunday night. We checked into a hotel and the next question became dinner. Too hot to walk and really didn't want pizza. Used hungry boiler delivery app and discovered this restaurant. Sold immediately on the beef stroganoff (a hubby favorite) and the alfredo (a kid favorite). Both lived up to expectations as did the Caesar salads and the Veracruz salad. The Parmesan bread needs a make over, and they sent a chocolate chip cookie in lieu of the chocolate milk ordered. I went to noodles & company on my lunch break today. I get an hour for lunch and they are 5 minutes from work, so there should have been no problem. I walked in the door and waited around 10 minutes to place my order without so much as a word from anyone running the register. After I placed my order, the lady at the register walked away and did not say anything, nor did she give me my receipt or my cup for my drink. Finally tracked down the cashier to get my cup, filled my drink, and sat down to wait. After 45 minutes of waiting, i went to the front desk and asked what the hold up was and one of the line cooks yelled from the back that she did not care how long people were waiting. The employees there then spoke to each other, not the customers waiting, and decided not to take any more orders until they caught up with the current orders. About a minute later I was given my food without so much as an apology or friendly smile for such a ridiculous delay and terrible customer service. I was not the only customer there that had the same issues either. The couple across from me were complaining about their half hour wait when i finally went up to ask about my order. Several others in the establishment were upset and waiting for longer than usual as well. 45 minutes is completely ridiculous, but i would have felt slightly better about the situation had someone offered a friendly smile or an apology for the delay. I love the food at noodles & company, but that was not the first time that i had this issue there and so sadly I will not be going back. read more
