Overcharged for a meal. I called and the manager said it was a new employee who made an error. So he said come in and get credit. I went in and he gave me credit to the penny. 7/17/22-This review is solely for the staff who have been consistently nice. I needed a big favor because I'm on crutches at the moment and the kind staff member, Mia, helped me out. I really, REALLY, appreciated it. I hope it's gets back to her manager because people deserve praise when they do a good job or a good deed. The Mac was excellent years ago and then went downhill for some reason, and I stopped going to N&Co. Plus they took away my bff's all time favorite dish, the beef stroganoff, which I always wanted to try but never did, and never will. The food has been great the last three times in a row, I get the standard Mac n cheese and a rice Krispy treat (because of course). Thanks again to Mia and this location. The pad Thai is really delicious. I love that N&C has a gluten free menu. They are so quick to prepare and mighty friendly when bringing your order to the car. + also, everything is the correct temperature even when it's 17 degrees outside. Huh... a chain restaurant that makes good food? What? Can't be.... I guess I was in for a big surprise. My wife brought this place up to me a couple of times, but I never really paid to much attention to it until I finally caved in after hours of Christmas shopping. A packed location I guess is a good sign? We walked in and I saw a very simple noodle menu. Yikes! Simplicity in a menu? Awesome! I pick my meal for the night, Spicy Korean Tofu Noodles. We get our meals and I was very impressed by the presentation. Someone took the time to make my meal look good, but wait. Does it taste as good as it looks? Yes, I'm very skeptical of chain restaurants. Sorry, I'm a bit bias due to previous experiences. Not that all chains are bad, but there's some dilution in quality and service when there's growth at the national level. I took my first bit and I was floored at how good this was. The veggies has a nice snap and the tofu wasn't dry. It was perfectly balanced and I can say that I truly enjoyed my meal. I love noodles and co, my favorite used one used to be the one in Park Ridge but this one is working its way up there.. I have only had a bad experience like once or twice (usually a rouge employee lol). But since then they have tremendously improved! The staff is super nice. Today they were very friendly and efficient. They got our order done in no time and everything was perfect. I don't understand what the fuss is about in the comments below about how "dirty" this location is. I definitely believe that restaurants should be kept as clean as possible but this one did not strike me as particularly unclean in any way. I have seen it on busier days and while there is occasionally food still waiting on the tables or some crumbs/ papers it's nothing one would not expect after a rush? I think they usually keep it pretty orderly. From what I saw today, tables looked swiped and the floor was clean. I was actually going to lower my star by one because of a recent bad experience but I instead chose to go up one because of management here... I came in one day on my lunch and one of the employees basically told me some bs about not being able to ring out extra chicken. He was not only rude but lied to me about not being able to do something that was very easy to do. I spoke with the manager about it- Nikita and she was more than helpful! Noodles and company is a good place to go if you love pasta. I'm not a huge fan of pasta in general but they do a pretty decent job here. Never once have I had a problem with what I usually order (Penne Rosa). A small size is 4.75 while a regular size costs 6.00 dollars. The meal always came out satisfying and filling even their small portion. Their prices are decently fair, and you could even add a side salad for 1.50. It's not that big of a side but it's still a pretty decent deal. One side meal you definitely shouldn't miss out on is there cheesy garlic bread. This garlic bread is so delicious ! It's defiantly something everyone should try when coming here. They also have spices that you can add to your noodles and spicy hot sauce which in my opinion makes it even better. Went in as soon as this location opened so the food was fresh and the customer service was great. I got the Japanese pan noodles and Korean BBQ Meatballs with Gochujang (go-choo-jang) Sauce. I have been going to the Norridge noodles and company since they opened. I have never had a problem big enough to complain in a review till today (and the last time I went there) They offer a side salad free with their sandwiches or you have to pay $1 for a salad with your noodles. They have alway been decent sized salads (about the same size as a mcdonalds $1 salad). Until the last two times I went there. The salads are now about 3 bites and it's gone. I'm not asking for a lot here but seriously it's just lettuce and a couple croutons. It's not like they add anything else to it. I asked the manager what happened to the salads his response was well it's only a dollar, they were making them too big ever since we opened so this is how they are are now'. read more

I like noddles and co and this is the first time I will have to give terrible review. I ordered pot stickers and I got totally flat like pancake so ething that not even resembled a pot sticker. I asked manager about it and his answer was they put iron press on it so that's why the shape like that. Awfull!!!! Place was filthy. Come on nobody can sweep the carpeting or wipe tables???? Totally. Gross Bathroom had no papers in a paper dispenser but laying on the sink. How unsanitary!!!! Not going there ever again . Too bad. Came here with my boyfriend. It was his first time ever eating here! I got the pene rosa with parm cheese and parm chicken. He got the alfredo pasta with parm chicken. Overall the food was warm and tasty. Fresh, per usual. The staff was very nice and attentive. I really wish I got the name of the person who was constantly walking around and checking to make sure all the tables had everything they needed. That extra step made our experience much better. I love the potstickers side when I come here but today I am not quite sure what they gave me.. the "potstickers" were paper thin and flat. I have never had a flat potsticker anywhere I attended. NOT THE CAT'S MEOW Yeah, well where do I fooken begin. I have experienced better. This Noodles & Company location is not the cat's meow. I like the spicy Rossa penne pasta. The pasta has the right al dente bite with a nice, warm spicy kick. It is filled with tons of vegetables which are cooked nicely providing additional flavor to the dish. A great way to get in my vegetables for the day. Four stars for the Rossa penne pasta. Their flat bread and garlic cheese bread (though these are small) are A-OK. Three stars. The price point is also decent. The customer service here is between 3 and 4 stars. I think it depends on WHO is working and WHO is managing the restaurant on any given day. I have experienced hit or miss service at this Noodles. However, what is not good is that I have stopped in here more than twice, so my review is based on going here several times (not just once)! During these times, I cleaned off the table and wiped the crumbs from the chairs. The tables are always filled with left-over plates, silverware, dirty napkins, crumbs from previous customers. I have been to other Noodles locations, and have had fantastic customer service. At the other Noodle locations I did not have to clean off the tables, chairs, etc. nor ask someone to please "remove" the dirty plates, silverware, glasses and napkins. You know, it is nice to grab a bite to eat, after a long hard and stressful day at my job and sit down at a clean table. I don't mind cleaning up someone else's mess, but if I have to do it every single time I come here, I will take my business to another joint. Be careful in this parking lot. People drive like idiots and some speed through the parking lot like they are on the fooken expressway. I noticed there are always gaggles of teens driving in this parking lot or very young college kids who obviously are NOT experienced drivers. I have witnessed a couple of close calls in the parking lot. then something is seriously wrong. The food is awesome, when they manage to get the order correct, which is about 70% of the time, but for whatever reason they change their hours daily. Within the span of a week I have seen their opening hours be 12 noon, 1pm and 4pm. There is no rhyme or reason to this, and the only way to find out is to go over there. The phone number just rings and rings and the website is greyed out when you try to place an online order. I am trying to eat vegan for health reasons, so the veggie noodles are perfect for me, but I get pretty mad on top of hangry when I get there an there is a paper sign in the window saying they're closed until 4pm. WTF, it's lunchtime guys?!?! Not cool, everyone else in the area is back from the pandemic and open. Is there a health issue at the restaurant we need to know about? Unmotivated management?
