The person at the check out counter was really nice! The ambiance was nice the music was relaxing and it was bright and clean. The food was typical for a noodles and company but pretty good I got the barbecue chicken Mac and cheese and I love it

Been here a few times before. It is a clean and convenient location. It is a lot of different pastas and I always find it to be a good lunch. I was desperate for basic Mac and got that here. Sure, you can make a lot of this stuff at home but it is the good enough price to save the time and effort. I'm sure I'll be back again for more noodles.

I went here with my wife and daughter. My daughter had free coupons for a meal which was great. I had the Japanese pan noodles with steak. The staff where friendly and helpful. The store was pretty big and had plenty of seating. The food was good overall and had a good taste to it. The food comes out almost immediately which is great. I probably would go again in the future if I was near by.

This was my first time at the Oakland location. It's much prettier and cleaner than the downtown location and the service is far superior. I ordered zoodles which are a weakness of mine. They were delicious and really filling. I just don't love the cost of this place. It'll be a rare stop for me with so many other quick lunch spots in Oakland.

    Med Salad with Grilled Chicken

I ordered their Med Salad with grilled chicken and it was very good. The lettuce and salad toppings were fresh and in good proportion. They packed the chicken separately which I appreciated so the salad would not get soggy. I thought the dressing could have been better which is why I didn't give it a five. I ordered online and it was ready on time. The inside looked nice with ample seating. I would try them again for sure.

Solid location. This place has everything you'd want from a Noodles and Co. The selection is great, they have Truffle Mac :0 and there's lots of space to eat and hang out with your friends! Portion sizes for the food are big, which is great for people who are hungry and those who want some leftovers for later. I recommend trying some of the heat spice they have next to the drink machines. It's not that spicy but adds a slight heat and smoke flavor to whatever you're having.

This location has such a cool layout! The ordering area is more toward the middle, so you have to weave through anyone sitting down to get there, but it's not unreasonable. The person taking my order was friendly, efficient, and helpful. I was so surprised how quickly my order was ready! Made for a nice quick, filling bite before heading back to school. I'm personally a fan of the Wisconsin Mac n Cheese, but I've tried a few other dishes and enjoyed those as well. I'll be stopping in again soon!

    IMPOSSIBLE- Orange Chicken Lo Mein
    Layla K.

Not for much besides the Mac and cheese which isn't even anything special. I also like their pesto tortellini. I was really excited to see the addition of plant based chicken (I am vegetarian and the only thing I miss is orange chicken!) but their orange chicken lo mein was the most disgusting thing I've ever had. First off, literally who puts chicken nuggets on pasta?? There are so many other better meatless options. Also, the orange sauce was really bad. I'm not sure what was wrong with it but it was completely wrong.

If you're looking for a fast cheap lunch this is a good option. The food came out quite quickly however I found it to be very salty and the noodles to be a bit dry. Overall it's not bad but don't expect fancy pasta.

Whole grain tuscan fresca with little to no vegetables :(
    Denny C.

I like noodles and company and I enjoy their food. However, I have one major complaint. They focus too much on the noodles and not enough on the vegetables. Sure it's a pasta/noodle joint, but when I order "whole grain linguine with balsamic, olive oil, white wine and roasted garlic, red onions, tomato, spinach and parmesan or feta" I expect to get just that. Out of all the times I've gone, which is about 5, my meals have lacked vegetables. Maybe one or two pieces of tiny broccoli, 3 spinach leaves, or just even a few chunks of tomato. I enjoy the vegetables and they should be present in the dish, but they aren't. I may be expecting too much since I'm a vegan, don't worry I didn't order cheese, but they list vegan and vegetarian items on their menu so they should be more sensitive to us. This is something this location definitely needs to work on.

I purchased a Caesar salad at this Noodles & Company today and the lettuce had black mold on it. I actually got sick behind this.

I ordered a Caesar chicken salad today at this Noodles & Company Oakland Forbes Ave location and the lettuce was moldy as pictured. Actually got sick.

I've been going to this place for quite awhile. If you love noodles, then this is the place for you! You can get noodles made in multiple global cuisines! Also, they have the virtual soda machine (I love this type of stuff)! Need I say more?

Getting a spot in a class is very hard since they are limited to 6-8 people, but if you get the chance I absolutely recommend it. The classes are 2 hours long each and are extremely intimate. Bryan and Justin will meet you at the door and will introduce you to their workshop. There is a spread of antipasto to snack on which was curated very well. Each person gets to make 4 (four!!) dozen raviolis each. The class is extremely informative and fun. I personally haven't ordered any of their ravioli drops before, but from eating the batch I personally made, I know I will in the future. Highly recommend ordering their raviolis online or taking the class if it's available.

It's a fun experience and I will definitely do it again.

I opted for the cavatappi and marinara sauce. It came with 2 meatballs and a generous slice of bread. This was probably the best meal I've had in a long time. Seriously, it was SO good. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was just acidic & sweet enough, the meatballs were incredible and the bread was out of this world. The best part? It was only $13.99! Their ravioli are available in beef, chicken, spinach-ricotta, and potato-cheese. Their sauces include marinara, boscaiola, bolognese, arrabbiata, and pesto. Examples of their baked goods are cinnamon rolls, brownies, and macarons. Their other foods include arancini, gnocchi, and sandwiches. Currently, customers may order these foods either in person or online (e.g., Market Wagon, Toast, DoorDash, Slice, and Uber Eats). Catering is available. Through Market Wagon's website, I have placed a few orders for Soul Pasta's foods. Here are my opinions about the individual foods: Pastas: The bigoli noodles were very thick, and the mafalde noodles were very long ribbons. These two pastas were very fresh, consisted of several serving sizes, and were a much higher quality than what you can purchase from a grocery store. Sauces: The four sauces--marinara, boscaiola (mushroom), bolognese (ground meat), and arrabiata (moderately spicy)--tasted delicious. Desserts: I ordered the cinnamon rolls twice. The first time, they had no icing on top, but they did have icing the second time. They were little (a couple bites in size) and contained the right amount of cinnamon. The chocolate brownies were also little, and they were moist and very chocolate-y. The macarons arrived smashed, but I enjoyed the flavors of their fillings.

It is a very cozy Italian restaurant that's serving homemade Italian food like your Nonna would make for you. We showed up on a Tuesday night and it was packed. It was around six or 6:30 in the evening and when we first got there, we were told it would be about a 20 minute wait before a two top was available. But the host came back and asked if we didn't mind sitting by the kitchen they could see us right away. We chose to sit by the kitchen, which honestly was probably the best option because it was actually a little bit quieter because there was a very large party that was celebrating a birthday and they had live music going on so it was hard to hear when you were in the main dining space but back by the kitchen it's a little bit quieter and we could actually hear ourselves talk. My husband got the penne with meatballs and the penny was nicely cooked with a beautiful tomato Bass sauce and the meatballs or some of the best Italian meatball he's ever had. His only complaint was that there were only two in the order and he wished there would've been three. I got the spinach and ricotta, stuffed ravioli, and by far one of the best raviolis I've ever had. The ravioli are large so there's only about five in a dish but they're packed fully and the flavoring and seasoning is absolutely spectacular. It's got a beautiful sauce like accompanies it and the chew you can definitely tell it is handmade pasta/ravioli. Our server, Emma was absolutely spectacular and was so kind. We truly enjoyed our experience here and would highly recommend anybody to check it out if you're in the area. But we also do recommend make your reservations ahead of time. The waitresses are friendly and have great recommendations. I got to try their linguine rustica (essentially the clam pasta dish), a cappuccino, some cherry soda, and soup of the day, as well as complimentary bread. They got that bread out very quickly! Very soft, and served with quite high quality olive oil. The bottle has both olive oil and balsamic! The soup of the day was quite good as well. It was some sort of beef broth, I think may a beef and bean soup. Chickpeas in there as well. Next time, I might try the salad. The salad they have as a side is so good, an amazing portion and seems so fresh and tasty. The mains were excellent. Very good pasta with clam sauce. Lots of clam meat and a flavorful oil based sauce. My friend had some red penne with chicken and enjoyed that as well. Great portions, pretty fair prices. Finally, great drinks as well. Very memorable cherry cola that I believe the company is owned by the owner's son. Real cane sugar, very good. The cappuccino was great as well. Definitely come here!

I was tempted to order more but had to restrain myself. Half roasted chicken with rhubarb: totally lived up to the hype. Chicken was perfectly cooked, loads of flavor. The creamy farmers cheese on the bottom paired great with the sweet/tartness of the rhubarb. Easily the best chicken dish I've ever had. Rye shortbread: this was our dessert. Greatly enjoyed this.
