I'm so impressed that zoodles are now on the menu! You can basically order any of their dishes and sub doodles for noodles (I believe at no extra charge, but don't quote me on that!). The dish I ordered was with a pesto sauce and I wanted more! I do however thing their prices for a fast food noodle shop are high, which is why I don't go here too often. $16 for one entree and a kids meal was quite steep in my mind. Great place for something that is a step up from fast food but one thing I have noticed is that they have cut back since they first opened! When they first opened, and I ordered the pesto cavatappi with Parmesan chicken, I had to cut up a breast of chicken; now, the chicken is cut up but I'm certain it is not equal to a breast of chicken. So while they have a rewards program, they seem a little more pricey now -- what you get in the bowl vs. what you pay for the bowl. In the pesto cavatappi, there is tomatoes and mushrooms. Again, it used to be that there was a lot of tomatoes and mushrooms -- now I feel like I'm playing "Where in the bowl is the mushroom?" They started out great and at the beginning I would give them a higher score, but they have cut back on what you get for your money. read more

My husband and I came in for some macaroni and cheese. He had the BBQ Mac with pulled pork, and I had the Wisconsin cheese macaroni. I was surprised at how little cheese seemed to be on the noodles but once it was mixed in, it was more than enough. We both ate all of our food and felt super full even after only a small serving. I haven't been to Noodles in awhile and I was impressed with the new menu. I got the Med salad which was healthier and tasty. The dressing is spicy...I would not give it to kids. Tried again and should have known better. Menu has changed to more of a McDonald's type....pushing combos with a side and a drink. Employee brought us the wrong dish that we had not ordered and seemed annoyed even though it was their mistake. Tables were again dirty, floor was covered with food and garbage was overflowing. The restaurant was slow and employees stood around and laughed and talked when they could've been cleaning and restocking napkins etc. Definitely need some upper management to come in and straighten things out. My fave is the Indonesian Peanut Saute which has a nice assortment of veggies and a spicy sauce which gives it just the right amount of kick. The veggies are crispy and never overcooked or soggy. The portions are a decent size but for a quick-serve restaurant, I do wish the price was a little less.... when adding meat to an entree, my total is just over 9 bucks, and that's just for the entree. Every time we visit Kalamzoo, we stop in at Noodles & Co. (our nickname for this chain is the "noodle bar") because we love this place. The staff there is friendly and efficient. We have never had a bad meal here! I love their Thai Noodle Soup (best with beef) and their Potstickers. The broth is flavorful and they put a good amount of vegetables in the bowl. My only wish is that their portions of noodles is larger. After ordering for 6 people, our food arrived at our table (served) in about 5 minutes which was amazing. Our server informed us that they would buss our table and that they did not accept tips. Besides all kinds of noodles, they also have a small selection of sandwiches and salads. Just your average Noodles and Company location. Since this is a chain, they taste is consistent across all locations. Staff here is very friendly and helpful. The only downside to this location is that it has an old feel to it and doesn't seem to have been maintained all that well. I ordered a chicken salad with extra dressing and extra chicken breast, Shrimp scampi, a side of Wisconsin Mac & Cheese, and a side of Thai Chicken soup. At first they gave me a single 1/4th of the way filled soufflé cup of Cesar and definitely no extra chicken so I walked back in to get what I was missing. They Handed me two more 1/4th of the way filled soufflé cups and a different kind of chicken that didn't match the chicken that was already on my salad, oh and let's not forget the 3 dark hairs that I found in it that we're definitely too long to belong to me. The amount of soup they gave me was about a table spoon, not even exaggerating. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp scampi and told me it was cold along with his Wisconsin Macaroni. I then called Noodles & Company to speak to a manager and told him the situation. He went on to tell me that "he's behind his team on this one and the best in the state." The first one I got had multiple strands of black hair in it and so I went up and asked for a different one. Staffed was very unapologetic and didn't seem to care at all.
