I used to be a huge fan of noodles but our family stopped going because the prices had gotten pretty high. Now they have a $7 section of some dishes (no meat) on the app. The food was good, just like I remember. We dined in and our silverware had food caked on it and I needed to go up and exchange it. There is not much point in eating in, they give you your food in to go containers anyway. This location is consistently understaffed and always messes up orders while taking much longer than others in the area. Most recent visit, I ordered a regular pesto cavatappi with no cheese, regular (6) potstickers and a side chicken noodle. Order came out after 15 minutes and after two orders that ordered before and two orders after I did got their meals. The pesto cavatappi had cheese on it and there were no potstickers. Employee didn't even request the pesto cavatappi re-make until after four more orders that ordered after I did were delivered. Then waited more for it to be made, whole trip was 35+ min for a simple order. Soup was cold after sitting for 20 min and 2 orders before and at least 6 orders after I ordered all got their meals. This was a last straw sort of situation. I will not be revisiting this location since the ones in Auburn Hills and Sterling Heights are exponentially better in service and taste. First time I've ever not finished and then thrown out a pesto cavatappi too and I've been a consistent regular at Noodles since around 2016 at various locations. Clearly had some sort of Romano or Parmesan in the sauce or added to it. I'm aware most pesto sauces have a bit but this time it reeked of it in smell and taste. read more

I've been to this location a lot since I live fairly close, but they recently lost my business for good. This location had an IT issue for a week or maybe more in June 2021 which resulted in potentially HUNDREDS of customers being double charged for orders more than a month later. To be more specific, I placed an order around June 10th for $25 and a month later got charged that exact same amount before the location was even open for the day. I called the location to get it resolved and could hear the employee tell the person in charge that yet another person was calling about duplicate charges. I was told a manager would call me back and they never did. I had to call them again and got them to give me the number of a person in IT at Noodles and I'm still currently trying to get my money back. Before I got off the phone with a manager at this location they tried to tell me the original charge a month ago never went through even though I was staring at it on my credit card statement. Wasn't apologetic. In no way tried to make up for giving me the runaround for days. Really poor customer service all around. At this point I'm wondering how many people went to this location and got duplicate charges without knowing it. If you went here recently, check your credit card statements. read more

Well the place is called noodles so maybe I should have expected as much. Both the soup and peanut sauté just had way too many noodles and not enough goodies. It's called peanut sauté, yet I couldn't find one peanut? Gimme veggies, peanuts and a sauce, then at least we have a start. Instead it was a pile of noodles all stuck together with a spice dusting the top. The service was good and the decor is what's expected from a chain. It's was bad food and I may stop back in to try something else, I don't know, for $10 bucks I was just disappointed with a plate of noodles with 4 tiny pieces of broccoli. I don't know why I do this to myself. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me... Almost 1 year later and my experience at this Noodles & Co. hasn't changed a whole lot. This time I ate in, rather than taking my food to go. The first thing I noticed was how carefree the staff was. It looks like all but two of the guys (possibly managers?) working here are high schoolers- maybe even college kids- home for the summer. Two of the employees were walking around pretending to talk in various accents- quite loudly and quite horribly, might I add. I'm not one to get easily offended, but this, in a way, was almost offensive. I was hard to focus on my meal, because of how loud and obnoxious these employees were. I digress. The food: my complaint from one year ago stands true today. THE NOODLES ARE STILL UNDERCOOKED. This location seems to pride themselves on the fact that they can get noodles to you quickly- regardless or whether or not they are cooked. While I was eating my meal, I got a phone call requesting a meal to go. I didn't get to try any of it, but I was impressed that this time around, the to-go portion size was actually comparable to an in-house sized portion. I stopped here on Friday after a wine meetup so I could get some dinner. I have only ever eaten in one time with most of my visits being to go orders. I stop here because I'm able to get gluten free noodles. However, the exact menu that I'm able to eat being gluten free requires, downloading each and every time as it is not posted anywhere. This time was the first time that I felt like the amount of sauce I got matched the amount of noodles. Normally the amount of sauce is minimum. I tried the beef stroganoff which was great compared with all of the other sauces. There was tons of meat and mushrooms in the sauce. I will definitely be ordering this again. The meal was relatively quick to get to me. The one thing that has changed since I last came here was the cashier didn't have to get the manager to mark anything about my meal being gluten free. So either the cashier was a manager or more gluten free people are coming here. I know I didn't have any flare ups from the meal so it was gluten free. read more

I've been to this Rochester location many times and it's just gotten worse. It took maybe 20-25 minutes for our order to be taken, on top of that it took another 25 minutes to get our food out. I had ordered my meal without mushrooms, and when I was eating I found mushrooms. Did not big deal because I am not allergic but it was still disappointing (I did tell the food runner about this). YUM! I went to Noodles & Company today to redeem my free birthday noodles and liked it much better than the last time I visited (different location, but there was nothing wrong with the other one, it just wasn't a restaurant I was eager to return to). They guy who took my order was wonderful. Since I wasn't really familiar with anything, all I knew was that the Truffle Mac looked good. He stated my coupon would also cover the meat, and when asked he recommended the steak. I also got a salad. My daughter requested the spaghetti and meatballs. As I went to order us both beverages, he said there was a kid-sized fountain drink (that I didn't see anywhere on the menu) so that was a bonus. My Truffle Mac with steak was delicious! I even brought the leftovers home and ate them for dinner (it deserves mention, since usually leftovers just visit my fridge for a couple weeks, then get thrown away). And in yet another positive staff experience, as a woman was walking by and busing tables, I asked her for to-go boxes for the rest of our meals. She didn't tell me to stop being so clueless as she grabbed the boxes from the self-serve fountain drink area. So I've been here a handful of times and I've really wanted to give more stars but I can't. I've had nice cashiers and rude cashiers. Really what gives this low rating is the staff. Last time I came, I was sitting near the register area where I heard and watched two cashiers talk bad about a customer who just ordered and gossip all within earshot of me and other customers. The manager was trying to keep orders flowing and break up the little group but it didn't seem to work too well. The food is pretty good, no complaints there. Since it's the closest Noodles to me, and my son enjoys going there, we will continue to go, but the teenage staff needs to be trained on friendliness and courtesy. Definitely lacking. read more

Surprisingly, I haven't been to Noodles that often compared to Chipotle and other high-end fast casual food. I've had Pad Thai and Tomato Bisque at their East Lansing location. This time, my parents carried out some free appetizers from this location as part of a special offer. There was a order of cheesy garlic bread and an order of potstickers with their respective sauces (marinara and soy). Garlic bread was really salty and I wasn't really a fan but the marinara was on-point. Potstickers, on the other hand, were pretty tasty though I didn't eat with soy sauce. The potstickers that I had did contain chicken so vegetarians beware. I'm sure sometime in the future I'll head over to this Noodles or others in the area and dine-in to reacquaint myself with some of their entrees. That being said, there are far too many other fast casual options that I'd prefer when I'm going out to eat. read more

My husband got yelled at and hung up on by "manager" Kevin and another worker, Nathan. I had to call back and demand a refund. Would not recommend this place. I ordered montamor noodles and it looks like it was just thrown together. I asked for no tomatoes and no mushrooms which it even shows on the receipt, and yet they put an abundance of both in my bowl. I've been wanting to try a Noodles and Company for a little while and fate (well, construction on 75 leading me to dare a homemade detour on Rochester road and my insatiable hunger pangs) brought me to this spot. I'm a huge fan of rice noodles and Asian flavors so I went with a combo meal for 7.50 that consisted of a peanut thai noodle dish with a generous portion of chicken and a cup of a Thai/Indo influenced soup. Both were pretty good and served up quickly and made for a nice little lunch. My rating might seem a bit generous but I think this kind of place competes with Panera, Boston Market and other fast-ish food places and not authentic, full service restaurants so I rated it as such. In fact, I'd like to see a location with a drive through even though it might be a little bit slower than a normal drive through (like All American Coney in Woodbridge or Cederland in Warrendale/Dearborn!). And yes, I can eat with chopsticks while I drive and no, I do not text and drive. I'm weird like that. read more

This was my first time visiting "noodles & company". It falls into the category of quick casual. If you've ever been to a Fazoli's, it is comparable without the free bread sticks and adding Asian food to the mix. You order at a counter, take your beverage cup, a number and find a seat. The staff brings out your meal, rather quickly and your taste buds are up to bat. Since we used a buy one get one coupon, our lunch cost less than a typical fast food meal. There were 6 of us total. They had something for everyone. I chose The Med Duo. A fresh combination of chicken, mushrooms, spinach, red bell pepper, cucumber, red onion, zippy Med dressing (YUM), cilantro and feta on flat bread. Delicious! It also came with a cup of chicken noodle soup, which tasted just like home, so I was happy. I would consider it more of a lunch place, or one for the girls as the servings weren't outrageously huge. Some ladies did take home part of their meal, so they do serve you "enough" food. Would my husband leave full? No way. Let me just say I wish we had a Noodles and Company closer to where I live downriver. But since we don't and my parents live up in Rochester we drive by this location when we go to visit and we always leave early so we can grab lunch here. Usually on Sunday :) I always get the Pad Thai (which isn't the most authentic pad thai but delicious nonetheless) without cilantro and my husband almost always gets some variation of mac and cheese, current favorite is their bbq pork version. I am almost always pleased with the service, we've had a few hiccups but the staff has always tried to fix them. And speaking of staff, Alex (one of the managers) is a great guy. I always see him helping out and cleaning tables. He's always super friendly to us and has always fixed any problems we've had. We will be back soon and look forward to it! read more

First when I called to place a pick up order they said that they were understaffed and couldn't place a pick up order which was only for one bowl. Then I got the employee to finally let me place my order. I walk in to grab my bowl and there were 4 staff members standing around doing nothing so they lied and said they were understaffed even though they weren't working. For fast food noodles (i.e. fast carb fix) it is good. I got a spicy Thai dish, it was somewhat unremarkable. I didn't find it overly spicy, despite the 2 chili pepper rating. What I did find is the meal was a little overpriced for the size of the portion and it was dry - as in not enough sauce. The soup addition was only $1, which seemed like a deal. As others mention, there is no tipping which is nice. And unlike other fast food places, there is real dishes and cutlery. I would go back if someone wanted to go, but I wouldn't make a special trip. read more

Nothing to write home about. Pesto is weak, and veggies are few and far between. Chicken looks like it was thrown in as an afterthought. Thai curry soup was so so. Creamy and coconut but not spicy as advertised. Wait staff was great which is the reason this got 3 stars and not 2 or 1 stars. It looked like some kind of stick or stem. I'm not sure how they didn't see this I will post a picture. You never know what it really is. My review comes after three failed attempts to enjoy a meal from this place. Should have skipped my order when the manager brought out the cash drawers and set them on the counter where they finish prepping the food. I thought the meals were prepped in back so I was appalled when the cooks sent my food up front to be finished and bagged. Where money drawers were just sitting! Next, all three visits something was forgotten from my order and this past time the flatbread that held my med sandwich together was as hard as cardboard. Perhaps that could have been corrected by the sauce that was SUPPOSED to be on it but wasn't. The place is dirty, floor mats were on the booth people eat at and there were crumbs on most of the tables. Hardly acceptable seeing as I was there right at eleven, which is when they open. I've eaten at other Noodles locations AND this location before, and I can say they're definitely consistent. I love the selection, and try something different each time I go (not often, but still a feat for me, since I usually find a favorite and stick with it). It is a tad expensive (I can make a heckuva lotta pasta for what they charge) but it's quick, yummy, the service is good, and I enjoy the unlimited beverage refills.
