All of the food is good here but the fried rice RULES. The portions are huge, enough for 2 to share. The Udon was a little on the bland side, but you can spice it up with rooster sauce. This is probably one of the best places to eat in Pala. The service was fairly fast but the long lines can be discouraging. Gambling the night away could work out anyones appetite, but hopefully you have some money to spare. Noodles is a bit hidden in the back, next to the Deli of Pala Casino. Once you're back there it's not hard to spot the line that edges its way out of this small restaurant, as the patrons can easily be spotted sitting at tables outside the restaurant eating several types of noodles. Or, you can easily follow the busboy that takes their plate back to the restaurant. If you're feeling like japanese - they have it. how about some chinese - yup, it's there too. maybe a little bit of vietnamese - definitely on the menu. or who knows, your feeling like thai - it's there. Every flavor to satisfy your ever expanding thirst for noddles, haha. We ordered the following: Pala Fried Rice - Served with Chinese sausage, chicken, bbq pork and shrimp. What i loved about it was even the next day it was still good. Beef Bulgogi - Marinated bbq Korean beef served on a bed of bean sprouts. This was by far my favorite of the dishes. Served with white rice, the flavor of the beef completely exploded in my mouth. I couldn't wait to have it the next day. Pad Thai - Rice stick noodles with chicken, shrimp, eggs, bean sprouts, mushroom and bamboo shoots. It's not my favorite of the noodles, but it was quite flavorful. I went here last night with some family. Usually I'm not too stoked on getting some food at a casino but since my relatives wanted to get some asian cuisine, I figured why not go. The place is decorated pretty nicely, as does any restaurant is at a casino. The place isn't too overly decorated but at least the overall consensus is that it's clean. We ordered a bunch of food. I'll start off with the Pad Thai. It's pretty good. It's a bit spicy but I tend to like Pad Thai like that. I think it's a great mix of vegetables and noodles. We also go the fried rice plates. These go great with some of the entries. We ordered the orange chicken which was just ok. I'd actually say that the Panda Express version is a bit better. The beef broccoli plate is very tasty. It's got a good mix of vegetables with the meat. I also had some wonton soup. YUM! Add a little bit of sriracha sauce and it's a wrap! Overall, I'm a fan. We had 3 dishes all had hardly any spices. I had the Mongolian beef, it was beef that's for sure, but had 0 taste. Another person got the soup, the broth tasted like water and the food again was hardly spiced. Another dish, I did not even ask about, because my friend refused to eat it after the first bite. Pre COVID-19, this was our go to place. Great Asian flavors and noodles. I just went back there the first time again today and I will say there are several big changes that will make me not come to this place until it gets corrected. 1. There is no take outs unless you have a room in the hotel. What are these people thinking? 2. Food is less savory. I should know, I ate at that place 2-3 times a week before COVID. There is some difference in the way it is prepared which is probably more about reducing cost. 3. Smaller portions higher prices. The portions are much smaller and if you have eaten there before the pandemic, you know how large their servings used to be. The fried sea food udon is delivered on a big family dinner plate. Now it is a much smaller plate and portion. That goes with their soups too. But the price is up, anywhere between a dollar to two more from the previous pricing. 4. Finally, they have only small take out boxes for leftovers. My soup was in this cardboard like bowl and they gave me a plastic plate as a cover so I can take it with me. This is the most ridiculous service I've ever encountered from a restaurant. Decided to try Noodles after seeing the wait at the buffet and cafe. Overall great selection of food from Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and Korean recipes. Ordered the BBQ rib appetizer (comes with 3 large full size spare ribs), Pad Thai and Sweet and Sour Chicken. BBQ ribs were juicy and sticky from the sauce. Pad Thai was delicious and tasty. Sweet and Sour Chicken was all batter and barely and contained chicken, but the sauce was tasteful. Portions were large and we had plenty of leftover food for later. Honestly, better than I expected! We were pleasantly surprised that the food was pretty good and authentic. The portions are also really large! They have some large photos of the dishes as your enter. They also provide menus in English, Korean, Chinese, and Vietnamese. Lots of different noodle offerings from all the Asian cuisines. The hostesses taking your order in front may not be Asian but all the cooks and chefs in the back are Asian, that's always a good sign. I stood in line for 30 minutes to order a to go order. I ordered the Pad see ew and it had NO flavor and the noodles were dry and so was the chicken. I am glad a substituted vegetables instead of bean sprouts, because the vegetables were the only part of this dish that tasted good. I wouldn't recommend this place. Noodles (an Asian noodle bar) is a nice option in Pala's "food court" and far more appealing than waiting in that horrendous line for the buffet. Choice is paramount. They serve - Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese-style noodles. A cornucopia of noodle-carb-overload. That said, usually, I'm wary of pan-Asian cuisine because it's like a bad case of kitchen ADD and a bit of an identity crisis. Isn't a good general rule of thumb is do a few good things well? Comparably, is there a restaurant out there that offers pan-European cuisine as food for thought? It's hard to justify a $12 bowl of pho to me. Granted, I've never tried it, but if it is THAT good, why pay so much when I can be patient for another 1/2 hour or so and drive to any other pho place and spend less than half that amount (~$5) elsewhere. Nope. Didn't get this. I ordered stir-fried vegetables with shrimp over crispy noodles. While the stir-fry and shrimp was solid, my crispy noodles were misplaced. Where was the crunch? Prolly lost with my socks in the dryer or the few Andrew Jacksons at the Three Card Poker table. I also ordered a trio of loosely wrapped shrimp spring rolls for $6. Ok. Dad's beef teriyaki and mom's combination fried rice. Good. So, Dad wanted to hang out and eat here for Father's Day. Mom and I were cool with that. I've eaten here a few times before and overall, I'm ok with Noodles. Food isn't spectacular, but I do come back, so there's something to be said there. It's kinda cool that they have menus in four languages - Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, and English. As a tip, go to the deli next door and order soda if you want a drink. It'll save you some time. Everyone who follows me on Yelp knows that my favorite food in the world is Miso Ramen, and I am a fan of all types of Ramen such as: Tonkotsu, and Shoyu. The menu just says "RAMEN". It doesn't tell what kind it is. I went up to the counter to ask the woman what type of Ramen it is. Was it Miso? Tonkatsu? Shio? Shoyu? And she just replies: "Chickun Sooooouuuuuppppp." I didn't know how to interpret that. I am aware that a lot of places make the broth of their Shoyu Ramen with chicken bones, so I went ahead and ordered it. It was a joke. You know that instant ramen that you buy at any supermarket? That is what they sell here. They gave me that "Maruchan/Nissin Chicken Flavor Ramen" that broke ass college kids eat when living at dorms. I was really pissed because they didn't charge me 25cents... They f*cking charged me $11! Do you know what they use for Charsiu here? They use that sweet and sour pork that you find at all-you-can-eat chinese food buffets. Do you know what they use for their Naruto? They use a stick of imitation crab meat! (Note for all you Inland Empire, OC, and North San Diego people who think Ramen is an instant snack that you add hot water to) Real Ramen is made by boiling bones for over 20 hours. The noodles are made fresh everyday. It usually comes with slices of bamboo, charsiu, and a decorative fish cake(Naruto). Guess what else...they use Chow Mein noodles for their Pad Thai. What pisses me off a lot is reading the reviews of some nationalistic-Asian yelpers who leave insulting comments for restaurants that are owned by a type of Asian that they dislike. You see it all the time. The best example would be when a guy writes something like: "This place is a Japanese restaurant but they got those damn Koreans and Chinese working here! Don't eat here". ... Look familiar? Now...the thing about "Noodles" is that it is an Asian restaurant which is obviously owned by a white person. The portions are huge!!!!!! 1 dish easily serves 2 people. The food was pretty authentic, much better than a Panda Express or Chinese buffet in a mall. Pad Thai- Very impressed, not the best I've had but very close to great Thai food. The noodles were thin angel hair sized not the flat noodles you would expect in Pad Thai but the flavor was great. Huge portion! Pad See Ew- This is my favorite Thai noodle dish but I was not impressed with their version. Pad See Ew usually has a savory taste to it....a mix of sweet and salty but this was just plain and boring. I had to add soy sauce to it, then I abandoned it for my kids Pad Thai. Huge portion! Spicy Tom Yum soup- Very good Tom Yum!!! This soup was very authentic! I would certainly order this again! It's not a bowl of soup, it's a sink full of soup....HUGE portion! Salted Shrimp- Wok fried whole shrimp with a wonderful sweet and spicy sauce. The only problem with this dish is that once you peel all the shells off the shrimp there's no sauce left on the shrimp. The sauce does not soak through the shell into the shrimp. So after peeling the shrimp you are left with a pile of bland shrimp and a pile of shells with all the great sauce on it. I've never really understood the thinking behind wok frying whole shrimp in Asian cuisine .....it's such a waste....I want flavor ON the shrimp and the last thing I'm going to do is lick the sauce off the shells. They should de-head the shrimp before frying so the sauce can get into the shell. So if you like shrimp this way you will love the sauce on the shells! I would certainly return to Noodles. The food was not perfect, but for a casino restaurant not in Vegas, I was impressed and happy. read more

Came in in a Sunday night. Stood in line waiting to order with only about 10 people in front of us at the beginning. After 30 minutes the line had barely budged. The person taking orders looked confused like she had never used a register before. Even though there were multiple registers only one was open and the other workers just stood around waiting for orders to come in. Tables were full of empty plates. Finally we gave up and went to Bar Meets Grill on the other side of the casino. We were immediately seated and enjoyed pizza and pasta. My husband and I visited the Pala casino and we wanted to sit outside because of COVID, but this restaurant only offered to-go for hotel guests. Seemed strange they didn't want to open up revenue for to-go service. I had to order dine in, then ask for a box when they brought the food, to then pour the food into the box just to take it to go. Over charged prices for low quality not 100% authentic Asian food. I ordered the Pad Thai and Combo Pho ... The Pad Thai wasn't even made with the usual Flat Noodles that is Pad Thai and the Phone also wasn't the usual Vermicelli Noodles. Both the Pad Thai and the Pho were made using Somen Noodle which are very thin and light. Along with my husbands order of the Combo fried rice the total was close to $50 and I have to say NOT worth the cost being they're cheating and cheap on the type of Noodle used and nothing was all that tasty. The Pad Thai didn't taste like Pad Thai and the Pho broth was overly salty even with lime squeeze. I normally don't even add lime but this one still lacked flavor. Well, I have to say they've got the right name because you get practically all noodles in every dish. Anyone who knows about stretching your food $$ knows you can do it with lots of carb-filled noodles, and they do that here yet still charge a lot. The amount of vegetables you get is minimal and it's typically very few Asian veggies, and a lot of carrots and green onions (in every dish). A good Asian restaurant would have a nice amount of mushrooms, water chestnuts, maybe bamboo shoots, and bean sprouts (they have none). The meat is something like processed frozen stuff they just heat up and toss in. If you order a shrimp dish, expect as many shrimp as you can count on one hand. Appetizers are way too pricey, and are small amounts, and their pork buns are a lot smaller now, with a teaspoon of some kind of processed meat inside. Not happy with this place anymore. The bf and i usually eat here every time we hit up this casino. I must say that the food here is pretty expensive when you know that you can get it for about half the price somewhere else but the portions are pretty big, so we usually share. They also have a pretty extensive Asian menu for this place, being in a casino and all. So far i've had the Pad Thai, Tom Yum, and the Congee. The Pad Thai is pretty good considering that it's coming from a casino. The Tom Yum is pretty tasty and it's better than what I had expected. The Congee was surprisingly good and the serving was huge. I was expecting a smaller portion since it's probably one of the cheaper items on the menu but that thing was super big and tasty, definitely the bang for your buck if you like rice porridge. So disappointed! We've made special trips to Pala just to eat at Noodles! Apparently they changed cooks, and it was horrible! Prices are not cheap and was given plastic spoons and forks. Ordered a large bowl of soup for 2 and was given 2 small plastic spoons. How can you scoop soup into smaller bowls with a tablespoon size spoon? We asked the server for a ladle and was told "I'll try & find one", which she did. My husband ordered orange chicken, which was very different from what he's had many times there. It was tasteless, rubbery and hard to chew? We talked to the manager and they did bring my husband a new batch but unfortunately, it tasted the same. The line looks short but it doesn't move very fast, you'll be waiting a good 20-30 minutes as they have 1 cashier getting the drinks and ringing up the customers. The 4 of us ordered the following: Chicken Fried Rice Curry Chicken Noodle Soup Cantonese Crispy Fried Noodles w/beef Shrimp Tom Yum Soup Shumai Everything tasted really good, just a little under seasoned. Soy sauce & sriracha made it all better. My favorite was the shumai, even though it wasn't piping hot, it was still really good with the sweet soy sauce and hot sriracha, I could have popped about 10 of those babies myself, yum. I have to warn you these portions are huge, that's why the price tag is so high, everything runs around $10 but you can feed 2-3 people per order. I'm Asian. So I fit into the Asian stereotype of loving hot long noodle soups that can be only eaten with chopsticks. I was happy to see that this type of restaurant in this casino. Every time I come into this casino, I come here. It's not the best soup I ever had, but it's pretty good. I love Tom Yum soup, but this place falls short with it's version. However, the Shrimp Wonton and Pork Chasiu Soup is pretty damn good. They give you plastic spoon, which is wrong, but give you a very large bowl. The Manapua (steam pork buns) were good too. Wasn't expecting much here, but couldn't help but to eat noodles for a late night snack being Asian. Hahaha! I had the Shrimp Wonton flat rice noodle soup. I thought it was expensive for being $8.95, but little did I know how big the sizes were! My husband had the beef pho for $9.95. If we had known how big the bowl was, we would have just shared one.
