    Dan Dan Noodle
    Brian V.

Small mom and pop / family run type restaurant or cafe located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. The folks here are very friendly and I feel like you're visiting family friends when you come here. Their menu has a lot of dishes showcasing fresh hand pulled noodles, along with various dumplings and a few other Chinese classic sides, etc. Within the last month, I actually have been here twice. Once for dinner after work (and on National Fried Chicken Day) and recently to bring my family here when they were in town for a tournament my niece was a part of. The dishes I ordered/tried: Dan Dan noodles, fried chicken wings, beef noodle soup, and the soup dumplings. Also tried the plum drink. Honestly, everything I've had here was tasty. The noodles had a great chew and were cooked perfectly. The wings were very crispy and the dumplings were structurally sound. Nice level of spice and the dishes that you can adjust to taste as well. Just a great spot when you want delicious casual Chinese food.

What a nice random find! We were hungry and found this spot to try out. Spicy beef noodles- delicious broth with choice of noodles. I requested for regular noodles, and extra green onions and cilantro. It wasn't too spicy, So good! Pork pan fried dumplings- great crispy bottoms and very meaty ! The lady was very nice and apologetic that it was busy, and food may take more time to come out.

Finally had time to try to this place and it was pretty good! They took over the bb.q chicken location and it's quite small and very minimal inside. The menu is pretty limited. We ordered a spicy beef noodle soup and pan fried pork dumplings. The spicy beef noodle soup had great flavor. Not spicy at all, the beef was very tender, the noodles had a nice chew to it. The potstickers were very good as well. Seems like everything is made fresh because it did take a minute to come out.

When I pass through Rancho Cucamonga, I like to stop at this shopping plaza for dinner. We decided on Noodos as a quick bite and we wanted to support a new business. We are so glad that we stopped by. The hostess took our order and seemed a little flustered with the POS machine. One of the items I ordered, didn't have a button programmed in yet, so she apologized profusely and offered each of my kids a beverage on the house. We went with the beef noodle soup, scallion pancakes, Dan dan noodles, and pork and chive dumplings. Let me say...this was some of the best noodles I've had in a while. The noodles are made fresh to order. They have a awesome chewy texture that is hard to describe. The beef soup noodle had a clear broth and served with loads of beef, cilantro, and green onions. Scallion pancakes come in a generous portion and was lightly pan fried and flaky. Dan Dan noodles was spicy and a little different from the taiwanese sesame cold noodles that I was used to. Their Dan Dan noodles was full of minced pork and fried chilis. The dumplings were juicy and full of flavor. Like the noodles, these were made fresh to order. The dumpling wrapper was thick and chewy. The restaurant has been open for less than a month, so the restaurant was new. Overall I was surprised to find such an authentic Chinese restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga. Looks like they are still figuring things out and tweaking the menu. Excited to come back soon.

This place was such an unexpected hit, authentic handmade noodles, great texture and flavorful broth. The service is nice and quick, interior is clean and plenty of seating, the parking lot is also huge. I loved the Chinese burger/sandwich, crispy handmade bread with seasoned meat+chilis+cilantro. It is packed with filling and the outside is a perfect level of grilled. The beef noodle soup with hand pulled noodle has a very clean yet savory broth with chewy noodles, and you can spice it up with chili oil and vinegar condiments on the table. The Dan Dan noodle also has a great flavor. Will be returning!

Their beef noodle soup and green onion pancakes are good. I liked it. I heard in the kitchen sounds of a basketball slamming and it was the cook making the handmade noodles. Their dumplings were okay.

Omg! If I could give this place a 100 stars I would. We don't see the fried thick beef noodles and it so good. So much flavor and the noodles were made to order the dumplings omg so so good. I have no words. And the service our waiter spoke English, Spanish, and mandarin, and great service. I felt so at home.

This place is actually pretty good. They came up on Yelp and decided to give them a try. They make fresh hand pulled noodles and it was good in the soup. We ordered the Tomato and Egg soup with flat noodles, Chicken Pine Dumplings, and the Cucumber Salad. They all tasted good. I really liked the Tomato and Egg soup, I was expecting it to have a slightly thicker broth but it had a different flavor compared to other places I've tried in the San Gabriel Valley but it was pretty good. I'm glad to know there's this place not too far from me and I would for sure come back again.

The food was delicious and the overall service was great. Our host was very kind and helpful in navigating the menu, tailoring recommendations to our flavor preferences. We were very pleased with the experience overall and would be happy to visit again.

Noodles are freshly made. I can tell dumplings also are made in the restaurant. Friendly staff here. They played American POP music in this restaurant. This is not ordinary Chinese fast food.

This place was great! We ordered the beef roll and beef noodle soup. The beef roll was delicious, however it was a little too floppy and could have been a little better as it kinda fell apart when we picked it up. The beef noodle soup was delicious! The broth had a perfect flavor of beef and there was no gaminess at all. Tasted very fresh. The service was fast and the service was very attentive. Inside was really clean. They had chili oil and soy sauce on the table. Over all really good. If the beef roll didn't fall apart when picked up it would have been perfect 5 stars :) Updated: honestly I have to update my review because everything had such a delicious flavor and it really is worth the 5 stars lol

Gross. It was cold and soggy when arrived.
    sasa l.

I ordered the braised beef noodle and the soup was waaaayyyyy too salty to my liking. I ordered the beef roll $12.99 for one roll, it was small AND soggy AND cold when it arrived. They put regular onion and cilantro in there which I've never had it like that with the regular onion. The pan fried dumpling skin is waaaayyy too thick and it was oily. Service was bad, they only had two cook and one server. I had to grab my own everything (ie. Hot sauce, water) because she was too busy cleaning and taking order. The food came out SLOW!!! The inside of the restaurant was nice and trendy. I will not be back there are better options close by.

I've also tried chengdu zajiang and the sour pickled mustard with shredded pork, the stir fried potatoes, and the chicken with chili sauce. All dishes were excellent. It just has soy, soy mixed sauce, chili oil, and black vinegar. I ordered the Wide Hand Pulled Noodles, Green and Onion Pot Stickers, and the Beef Rolls. Wide Hand Pulled noodles were ok. Honestly not much to brag about. I thought the noodles were cooked well but the flavor didn't really stand out to me. I believe it's served with chili oil, a mound of minced garlic and some vegetables. Outside of those ingredients I thought it needed more flavor or substance. The beef rolls were ok to me as well. I liked how crispy the roll was and size. Good portions of sliced beef served with cilantro. It was refreshing but the meat was generally cold with some warmness provided by the roll. But that quickly faded. Would prefer it to be warmer. The highlight was the pot stickers. Beef and onion were good. Really enjoyed the presentation of the dish. The edges of the pot sticker were really thick. Almost chip like. I enjoyed it as much as the dish itself. Would get it again. Overall I thought the food was ok. I'm sure there are better highlight dishes than what I ordered but they weren't selected this go around. Also the prices are a little higher than most dumpling spots so I just expected more.

Luckily I got a regular-customer/birthday dinner exemption. They made it clear this was a one-time special and we could only get dumplings... which worked out perfectly because dumplings were all I wanted. The monster was briefly terrified at the thought of being denied, but the second they said yes -- OH MY G!!! We ordered three rounds of the classic soup dumplings, one order of the black truffle dumplings, and one order of the chocolate dumplings for dessert. This was our first time trying the black truffle dumplings and I felt like I was at a blackjack table. I kept saying "hit me again, hit me again, hit me again" until they were gone. Definitely worth the little extra. Then came the OGs. After demolishing a small country's worth of black truffle dumplings, I moved on to the classics -- perfect like always. I also like that you can see the dumplings being made through the open kitchen. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the plastic water pitcher they brought to the table had some visible mineral residue from what looked like hard water buildup. It wasn't something I wanted to see on a pitcher being used for drinking water, and it's an easy detail to fix. Aside from that, the food was really good and I'd definitely come back. Sizzling plates used to be THE big thing in the early and mid 2000s with lots of boba places having them as as specialty (RIP Coffee Break and MJ's Tea House), but now aside from a handful of businesses and Pepper Lunch, they're much more rare. Glad that the IE has Sizzlin' Place as one of their sizzling plate heavy hitters. Aside from the sizzling plates, they have other menu items including fried appetizers, soup and dried noodles, and sides like fries and takoyaki, but if you're going to a sizzling plate place, you gotta get a sizzling plate, you know? That's decorum. Service is welcoming and friendly, and efficient in the safest way possible with the scorching hot plates. Seating can get limited due to the nature of the meal, but I've never had an issues the times I chose to eat here. Ambiance can be relaxed and chill when the Haven City Market isn't busy, but during weekends or rush hour, it can get a bit hectic and there may be a bit of a wait. A staple that you can never go wrong with is the hot plate beef and if you're a carnivore or if you're sharing, you have to upsize and upgrade it. The slices of beef here are just slightly thicker than what I'm used to at Pepper Lunch, but that just means it'll shrink less and get less stuck on the hot plate as well. You get a hearty serving of rice with some corn on top, pepper, and green onions. Like other sizzling plate places, you can always get pasta or udon instead of rice, if you're feeling a bit more adventurous. Super hot, filling meal that's easy to eat. Not the most flavorful sometimes, at least with what I order, and in comparison to other competitors, but hits the spot when need be.
