This was the least flavorful bowl of noodles I've had in a long time. The line at High Lua was a bit too long and I was starving so I finally decided to check out this fluorescent restaurant with an evocative name that I've passed by countless times. I opted for the bamee, which appears to be a Thai version of ee-fun, with mock duck that I believe was seitan based. The noodles themselves had almost no flavor, and the sweet chili sauce had a strange pungence that made me regret mixing it into the bowl. The mock duck was also salty but otherwise lacked much by way of compelling flavor.

Great food, good for take out or a casual night out. This is definitely a take out spot as the seating is not actually indoors, but outdoor heated. The green curry looks different than your typical Thai place, but the taste was the same as elsewhere, except spicier than most other spots. My friend liked their pad see ew. Overall, solid place when in need of food. Not a place for the vibes though. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The portions are pretty big here and food comes out fast and piping hot, in true thai fashion. I ordered the pad see ew which I wished had more soy sauce/oyster sauce. There was also a lot of black pepper which I'm not used to for pad see ew. Maybe this is how it's done in certain regions of Thailand? (Unsure)

Generous portions and decently priced! However, there are only a couple of outdoor tables and 1 table inside, with no AC. This is more of a takeout spot.

Cute decor, nice staff, fast service, and decent portions. Nothing to complain about - great for a quick lunch.

I've been meaning to check this place out since it opened but never got the chance. Finally after doing one last check with our wedding venue, my fiance & I stopped by for a quick dinner. For a quick dinner without all the frills but with all the authenticity of Thai cuisine, Noods n' Chill is worth the trip. Every dish we ordered was flavorful and aromatic with Southeast Asian herbs & spices. Plus, Noods n' Chill also brought out the spice factor - the heat was ON! Limited seating so go early. Or do take out. But definitely worth the trip for Thai in Williamsburg. :)

Great first time at Noods n' Chill! Pork Belly Pad Thai: Pork Belly wasn't as juicy as we were expecting, but the dish was still tasty. Chicken Pad Thai: Delicious, huge portion Spring Rolls: Hot, crispy, and come with a delicious citrusy sauce. Great plate for a casual date night with attentive service. Will be back to try some of their other dishes!

Had to walk a ways from main hub in Williamsburg but the place was small, quaint and unassuming. Outdoor seating only. Order and pay at the cash register first. The food was delicious! Had a shrimp pad kee mao, a refreshing green papaya salad (which I think was the best gps I've ever had!) and roti with chicken curry (curry was a little too sweet for my taste- seems more a Malaysian dish than Thai). The price points weren't bad either. It was yoo hot a day to get a hot noodle soup but I think I'd like to try when the weather is a bit cooler.

Outdoor seating was comfy and spacious. Let me set the scene. 4 friends, first meal of the day, and ready to overdo it. Here's how it went: Papaya Salad: tasty and fresh - We felt is was spiced for the less adventurous we asked for more spice on the side. Chicken wings: nicely fried, just want you hope for with the crunch and meatiness. Green curry noodles: this one we couldn't quite get into. Curry was flat in flavor, and noodles were over cooked and bloated. Disappointed because we got two of these and left them both behind. Pad See Ew: had this one with mock duck. The combination of flavors here : char, sweet, spicy, tangy. Definitely recommend this dish - one of the faves from our selections. Pad Kra Pow: not too tasty. Chicken was dry and string beans did not taste freshly cooked. We had a few other small plates they were fine nothing to brag about + Thai ice tea. Maybe we went on a "bad day" but will not likely visit again.

Honestly after so many disappointing food places in Williamsburg, I was just incredibly impressed by how good the food here was. I've tried a little bit of everything here, and pretty much everything on the "what we eat at home" part of the menu is solid and a grade above everything else. My favorite items are the blood boat noodles, the Bkk Guay Tiao Tom Yum, and the Khao Soy but I've enjoyed pretty much everything on the menu.

This is truly an amazing Thai restaurant. I ordered the drunken noodles and really enjoyed it. However, listen to my recommendation and order the pad thai because was truly divine. Both meals were extremely flavorful and very tasty. The restaurant itself is nice and they have a spacious outdoor seating area. They get extra points for having hand sanitizer on each table for you to use so that you're not eating with yucky hands. I rate this spot a 5/5

Our group of 4 started with a bottle of Pinot Grigio and a few appetizers to share, namely: Som tum papaya salad and dumplings curry. For the main entree, my eyes caught the attention of clay pot mix-fried rice with shrimp, chicken, sweet sausage, and my partner chose shrimp pad thai. Nothing really stood out with the dishes; I found it to be a bit Americanized, having eaten in so many Thai restaurants around New York City. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here; our food came in timely fashion, and the customer service is good as well, but it's probably not your place if you are seeking a more authentic Thai-style cooking.

PLEASE get the mango stick rice cocktail omg it was gone in like 5 sips because it was so good. The tuna ceviche was so refreshing and the sauce had a little kick to it which I absolutely loved! It was like a sprinkle of Thai on a classic tuna ceviche. Note the taro chips are a little thicker than a typical chip! The pork jowl wasn't as crispy as I expected but it was still flavorful and the portion size was huge, considering how it was an appetizer. We got pineapple lychee crispy duck, crab fried rice, and kana crispy pork over rice as our entree. ALL WERE SO GOOD! The curry for the pineapple lychee crispy duck was so creamy and flavorful, with the duck portion being huge and being the perfect texture. I loved that it was crispy and didn't get soggy fast in the curry. The crab fried rice was top tier as there were SO MANY HUGE CRAB PIECES!! You can definitely tell that it had flavors of seafood/crab.. they did not skimp out! And the kana crispy pork over rice was huge portion as well, but note that it was a big strong/saltier than the other dishes. For dessert, the pandan coconut pudding custard was SO yummy. It was warm and so flavorful and creamy!! I fell in love with Brooklyn even more after coming here. Highly recommend!!

I feel differently about Hungry Thirsty. At this point I've been to countless Thai restaurants, and for the most part they've all been fantastic. Compared to all those fantastic meals the flavors here still stand out and I'm excited to read that they're expanding with additional locations. They have a phenomenal and lengthy beer selection, which is fun because it complements the spicy fried dishes quite well. The fried branzino and shrimp and squid in salted duck yolk were very tasty with white rice but the dish that lit up my taste buds was the Kai Jeow Pu- colossal crab omelette. The egg was deep fried in an aromatic oil and filled with fresh, large pieces of crab and served with a phenomenal zesty sauce. The place is tiny and no frills, and our server chafed at my partner for pronouncing a beer on their menu incorrectly, which just added to the experience. I loved it here!

I enjoyed the food and the event so much that I've returned and told others to go as well. What I like the most is that Chiangmai's expansive menu showcases aspects of Thai cuisine that you're probably not getting at your neighborhood spot. Many items are Northern Thai style dishes. I'd never had Khao Soi before coming here and I was blown away. The chiangmai sausage is also delicious. The roasted duck curry boasts deep flavor while also maintaining the crispiest duck skin. For appetizers, we started with the crispy salmon belly bites and the moo ping. Frying salmon is risky, but the fattiness of the belly keeps it from drying out. The moo ping is nicely grilled and served with a sweet sauce. You just can't go wrong ordering meat on a stick. As an entree, I tried the Gaeng Awm Nur, a soup-like beef dish served with a side of sticky rice. Our server had been really nice and welcoming, so I felt ok asking how I should eat my meal. She advised that I make a ball of some sticky rice with my hand, mash it a bit, and then dip it into the soup. Thai food achievement unlocked! Now I know what to do next time I'm served sticky rice. There's so much on the menu it can be hard to choose. This is encouragement to go with someone else who enjoys food so you can choose things to share! You won't be disappointed and in fact may find that your regular Thai spots could step up their game in comparison.
