Noom Thai bistro is just that it's a good Thai restaurant with fresh food and very good service. The flavors were very authentic and rich, but I did find that on my next trip there I would like to have the heat level greater than five as it did lack in the typical Thai kick. The food is tasty and authentic, the staff and owners friendly, the prices good and the portions generous. Every one we have ever taken there raves about how good it was, even our very "foodie" friends. Service was impeccable and the food delicious. For starters, we tried the "App Tray" which had a smattering of different appetizers to try. It was a good way to be introduced to Noom Thai's cuisine. So what about the food: Three sauces served with the app tray - **Plum Sauce - sweet and tangy sauce, loved it **Shrimp Sauce - yes, Japanese shrimp sauce **Sweet Chili Sauce - traditional Thai sweet chili Crab Rangoon - delicious version of the Rangoon, favorite of the table. Egg rolls - tightly rolled mini egg rolls. Shrimp rolls - marinated shrimp wrapped and deep fried, I missed the marinade, so this one fell flat for me. Pineapple fried rice - a nice mix of sweet and savory. Basil Stir Fry - good stir fry with a side of rice, lots of veggies in this dish. Massaman Curry - dish fell a little flat for our table. Red Curry - got this dish spiced up, my wife loved it. Basil Fried Rice - another solid hit for us. My stomach wasn't feeling great when I went, and I can happily say the food is tummy ache friendly. The flavor wasn't too overwhelming in the veggie stir fry that I got + chicken. The peanut sauce is also super good. Only con was the dish was a smidge too salty but other than that it was fantastic. The waitress was also a joy! Both dishes were great and the place shows promise at reasonable prices. Too many Thai restaurants try to dress up as "fine dining" and double their prices without doing much with the food itself. Here, the owner takes pride in the food itself, spending money on ingredients instead of dim lighting, and you can tell. We'll definitely try them again to explore the menu further. read more

Stopped by for a late supper after flying in. I was seated promptly and greeted like a local. For a Monday evening late the place still had a brisk flow. Of course I had the Shrimp Pad Thai and an icedThai Tea. They had five levels of heat and so it was late so played it safe with level two. I haven't tried Thai before but I like Japanese and some Chinese and this seemed like a breed of the two. Out on a girls night and one of my friends suggested this place and said it was so delicious. Reviews also supported her opinion so why not. Let's go! We wanted an app but couldn't decide which one so we decided to do the app tray and just split it. After ordering it, it came out within a few minutes. Everything was delicious including the sauces. I love my sauces so they were put to good use. For dinner, I got the chicken Thai fried rice but I added basil to it. I didn't take a photo of my dinner. It was just so good. Once I started, I couldn't stop! One of My friends got shrimp drunken noodles. I didn't try it but it looks really good and she ate every bite! Another friend got the chicken red curry. I tried the sauce and it was tasty. Definitely had some spicy kick to it but her and I both like a little heat! Finally my other friend got shrimp hibachi (which wasn't one the new menu but on the old menu and the nee menu just didn't have room for it). It looked delicious too. For drinks we ordered wine which was good but basic bottled wine. Our server was friendly and helpful. Everything came out fresh and quickly. I feel so bad to leave this review, but hey that's what we are here for, right? For starters, service was amazing. People here are SO nice. So at least you'll get a pleasant experience with that, which can make a world of a difference. The food- is where this place is lacking. Jax has some pretty good Thai spots, so competition definitely exists, & this place really needs to up their game to even be on the same level or to compare. The thai tea was ridiculously sweet. I can handle sweet. But theirs was straight sugar! The fried wontons were probably the best thing that evening, seems like they used real crab, except very little of it. I ordered the salad thinking this was going to be good enough for a meal. It looked more like an appetizer with nothing but a bagged lettuce-shredded carrot combo mix. The dressing was good through. Thank goodness for that. Not pictured was the pad Thai. Too sweet. Didn't hit the spot. I left still hungry & disappointed. Overall, sadly won't return. read more
