I've already been to this restaurant three times in less than two months. The first was just a discovery when I was meeting up with my friend. It was so good I ended up doing takeout twice for my parents in the short stint I was in town checking in on them. The ambiance is really nice, it's spacious and service is really good. They come out with complimentary starters - soft cheese, nuts and cucumber as well as warm flat bread. I got the following: Baba Ghanoush PROS: - nice flavor - good balance of spices - comes with warm flat bread CONS: - came out cold. This is probably how it's supposed to be served but I wasn't used to it. - small serving size. Not sure if I would get it again for the price point. Chicken kebab marinated with saffron and specialty rice 1: (this is the rice with onions and lentils) PROS: - amazing quantity. So much I had to take half home (but I am a light to moderate eater) - chicken was super juicy, not dried out, and lightly seasoned - this rice is amazing. So flavorful, not overly salty, good balance of protein from the lentils and the fried onions gave such a nice lift in flavor. So so good. It is an extra $3.50 for the upgrade but so worth it. We definitely will be coming back when I'm in town. My parents liked it so much they want to make it a regular spot! Love Noosh Kitchen whether we dine in or order through Uber Eats. I have not found one thing on their menu that I have not loved! The mirza ghasemi is my go to appetizer and my absolute favorite! The baba ganoush is very good as well! For dinner entree, I love the chicken barg! I've also gotten the Cornish hen and it's very good as well. The meat is cooked so perfectly and it is so tender. For rice, I definitely love their options. I usually go between the shirin polo and the zereshk polo. I also like the albaloo polo, but it is very sweet so it's a once in a while choice for me. Definitely need to try more items on the menu, but I just love the options I've already come to enjoy! Would highly recommend giving this place a try, you might just end up with a new favorite go to! read more

Came here for lunch on a Friday with a friend. Definitely a solid 4/5 for me. The service was a bit slow, and we waited 10 minutes before finally getting menus (which we had to ask for). We shared a tahdig appetizer, and it was pretty average for me. I would've preferred more stew on top and slightly less crispy rice, but it was stlll tasty overall. For my entree, I got the lamb shank. This was definitely a great choice for me since I love lamb. The portion size was great, and the meat was very tender. It separated from the bone very easily. The broth was a red, tomato based broth, and it complemented the rice very well. The highlight was definitely the dessert though. I got the baklava cheesecake, and it was AMAZING. It's like a cheesecake crust topped with baklava and cheesecake filling. Definitely hit the spot for me. read more

The food was immaculate-stopped here randomly and my family and I had a great time. We all had a different dish and all were really good. Chicken, lamb skewer, rack of lamb, and chicken skewer. All of vegetables were very fresh and cooked great as well. Other than that we truly did enjoy ourselves and our waiter was phenomenal. This review is for takeout during Covid-19. I was looking for takeout options for #YelpsBigNightIn this past Saturday. I saw on Noosh Kitchen's Instagram page that they offer take and bake family meals so I decided to give them a try. I called Saturday afternoon to place an order and the polite gentleman over the phone let me know my order would be ready in 30-35 minutes. I arrived 45 minutes later and it was ready! The gentleman who assisted me (probably the same one over the phone), went over the baking instructions with me briefly. We ordered: Salmon with garlic herb butter and veggies, for two $24 Lime saffron shrimp with veggies, for two $20 The food came in foil packaging, ready to bake. Easy instructions were listed on the packages. Fresh ingredients and ample portions (see photos for proof). We baked them as instructed and they came out cooked perfectly! We ordered enough for four, and our family of three devoured everything. Everything was delicious, but the salmon was the fam favorite! Ordered a Vaziri to-go and asked for some hot sauce. Chicken, Koobideh, rice, tomato. Very delicious and the hot sauce made it even better. All tye flavors were there and it wasn't overly salty. The confusing part was in another container I got various items that I didn't know what to do with. Mint leaves, cheese, olives, and walnuts. None of them seemed to improve the taste, though I tried eating each one with a bite. I gave up and ate it without. Probably have to ask them next time. :) read more

I would definitely suggest coming here for lunch rather than dinner because I'd the huge price difference and it seems like you get a fair amount of food for lunch anyway. Yum! This was my first time trying Noosh, though my family has ordered takeout from them several times before and had uniformly wonderful experiences. This time, we had the House Kebab (Koobideh), Barg Kabob, and Chicken Koobideh. Each entree comes with rice and a grilled tomato. We added some grilled tomatoes for my mom ($1 additional per tomato), who loves them, and asked for extra pita, too, which they gave us free of charge. The ordering process was seamless and the service was wonderful. The food was good, too, though the rest of the fam said the pita was harder and the meat a bit drier than usual. Might have been an off day! The portions are relatively big, and the prices are on the higher end but fair. I'd recommend Noosh to anyone with a craving for Persian food! read more

Absolutely LOVE this spot! Hidden away and pretty quiet, + very attentive service and kind staff. The food is so flavorful and portion sizes are so generous! Even the bread service is incredible. While this restaurant is tucked away past an absurdly large number of spaces reserved for the market next door (don't get me wrong, it's a great market, but I don't think it needs all those spaces!), don't let that modesty fool you. The food, service, and atmosphere here are all better than any other Persian place I've found yet - it's quieter and less stuffy than Rumi's and priced not to break the bank. The servers all seemed happy to be there, which isn't something I've ever been tempted to accuse a Rumi's server of! As a table of four, we were able to eat a three course meal slowly and with great conversation, and I don't recall a water glass ever going dry. The baby ganoush was smoky and the perfect texture. The small plate of olives, walnuts, etc that came out first was fantastic, as was the flat bread. My wife had the soltani, and I ordered the other main beef skewer (I'm slipping on the name, sorry!!), and we split it all. Everything was juicy, cooked perfectly, and seasoned beautifully. I ordered the sour cherry rice for a slight upcharge, and it was fantastic. The chocolate cake with in-house made saffron ice cream with Persian coffee was the perfect end to the meal. The location isn't as convenient for us coming from Cherokee County, but I'll find my way here again and again through sheer force of will and a love of meat sweats! read more

It's dinner prices are also great compared to the other middle eastern spots in alpharetta. The food is amazing every time I go. My favorite thing are the different rices you can get, from normal saffron rice to rice with cherries, pistachios and other fruits - it is delicious. The service is always right, from the quick service to very attentive servers, you will have a great time visiting Noosh. What a lovely dining experience. My family and I were all blown away. This place offers authentic Persian food. I feel like that's hard to come by sometimes. Too often I see places try to do everything and blend Turkish, Persian, Greek, and other Middle Eastern/Mediterranean cuisines together. And I get that there are similarities. But we were really happy to come across this place because we wanted authentic Persian food. And Noosh Kitchen certainly delivered. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. It's elegant and cozy inside. Dimly lit, but the atmosphere was still warm and comfortable. The music in the background was nice, and people were chatting and talking comfortably. It makes you want to just lounge and have comfortable conversation with friends and family. I really think the atmosphere and ambience they created added to the dining experience and made it all the more pleasant. Tables were well separated and we felt safe dining inside, although I saw outdoor dining as well. We were first served with a complimentary salad plate. It was so beautifully arranged with fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, walnuts, feta cheese, and mint leaves. It's also served with a side of bread. At first I thought this was served to us by mistake, I had to look around at other tables to make sure we weren't the only ones lol. What a pleasant surprise! Everything was of fresh quality and delicious. Our entrees were just as amazing. Most of us ordered the Koobideh combo, which comes with one beef koobideh, one chicken koobideh, basmati rice, and tomato. The presentation was beautiful. The rice was delightfully savory and buttery, and the meat was so tender and flavorful. The charred tomato was great too. My father asked for one charred onion as well. It ended up costing $5 but I think the food, ambience, and complimentary appetizer more than made up for it. The onion was even presented to us beautifully and there was more than enough for our family to share. My brother got the salmon and it was so juicy and flakey, I'm dreaming about that salmon right now. I will definitely try that next time. There is sumac on the table as well if you want to season your rice and meat. Portions are huge! We tried the baklava, ice cream, and tea as well - all were delicious. The ice cream had hints of rosewater in it as well I believe. Service was excellent. The owner or manager came to check on us as well. Overall, this was an amazing dining experience. The food was delicious and affordable. Usually Middle Eastern restaurants in Atlanta charge an arm and a leg for their meals, but we were able to enjoy an affordable family meal here in a relaxed atmosphere - and we got to feel fancy at the same time. The food here has always been hit or miss - sometimes it's really great and sometimes it leaves a lot to be desired. But possibly one of the worst things about Noosh is how cheap they've become. I went to the restaurant to place a to go order and ordered a $10 sandwich wrap. On the menu it indicated "all wraps are accompanied by our house salad", but was told that the meal actually wouldn't come with one. Apparently, the salad only comes with the meal if you dine in. So I asked what the difference is and if I'd get the salad if I sat down, ordered, and then immediately got a to go box when the food comes. This suggestion was greeted with a blank stare. I ended up getting charged $5 for a side salad which should've been included in the $10 meal. $5 didn't kill me at the end of the day, but the principle behind the cheap business practice is not a good look, and it's not worth supporting owners that pull stunts like this. In a time of covid and social distancing, the restaurant shouldn't incentivize people eating in and should offer all the same things with to go orders as they would if you were to eat in. If you want good, casual Persian food, try Persian Kabobland on Mansell, or for a more luxurious dining experience try Rumi's. read more

The place was almost empty we still had to wait more than 30mins for appetizers (hummus and falafel). Nobody likes to wait for that long for okayish food. Servers were not at all interested in working. We cancelled our main course paid for starters and walked out. The staff didn't even bother to apologize or tried to make things better. Food is pricey for it's quality and quantity. There are many, much better persian restaurants in Atlanta. I am never going back. read more

The reason I am giving this place 1 star is based on our service experience only. We reached restaurant around 7ish (2 hours before closing), we placed our order and it took 45 mins for them to get the starter out. We waited another 30 mins for our main course but it didn't come out. We inquired about our several times and each time we got the same response the food is on the way. Finally, we gave up and left with paying for just the starters. The worst part was they were not even apologetic about it. It felt like they were doing a favor to us by not serving us. Service was awesome and the server answered all our questions as we are not used to this type of cuisine. Pricing is a little high but everything was seasoned well and met with the expectations of this place. Lots of seating but seems more intimate for a date night setting, there's also a bar and clean bathrooms. I enjoyed our meal and didn't even have to wait too long for everything to come out and I sat with a party of 8.
