Order came everything was all wrong. I asked for a California cheese burger well done! Welp I didn't get any cheese and my burger was very pink. So I called to ask them to send me the correct order. The owner immediately got very defensive. Saying "there is nothing wrong with your food my food is good" I said " I'm not saying your food isn't good I'm saying my order was wrong" Long story short I just asked for my money back because I didn't like the way she spoke to me. The portions are huge . I been ordering from here for years . Nora knows me by my name . Overall everything I ever got from here is excellent . If you order a burger , its a 100 percent burger, no fillers . All here food is high quality stuff . None of her meats or nothing is cheap . Better grade everything . i have been to nora"s deli several times! the food is typical deli really nothing out of the ordinary but a good place to get a burger! the order total with tip was 56.00 and change! i ordered chicken wings and they make them 2 ways buffalo or bbq! i asked the order taker if the bbq was spicy she said no! i ordered open face turkey dinner with mashed potatoes with gravy! also ordered a ruben with no kraut! the wings were very spicy the turkey gravy really too sweet and the ruben was not toasted and there was bacon on the top! i was just going to throw the food out but my family said to call and let her know that maybe she will refund part of the order! this is where its got nuts!! nora was a tyrant! she told me there was no bacon on the ruben and i told her come get it and see for herself she then proceeded about the wings that all bbq sause is spicy i should have known that!! not all are spicey she should know that! then she told me its gravy she has been making for years and completely dismissed any complaint she told me next time and i said there will never be a next time and she hung up on me! if thats how you treat a repeat customer what happens to a new one? anyway i will never ever go there again and nora should focus on the quality of her food not the quantity! read more

I'm not sure what people are complaining about as far as bad customer service. The women at the counter greeted us like we were family when we walked in. The waitress was helping us with lunch choices and letting us know everything was fresh and where it was purchased as far as the kielbasa. I honestly hesitated writing a good review because I wanted to keep this place secret so I didn't have to wait in line next time I came :) But as a foodie I wouldn't want any other foodie to miss out on such a gem. Nora and her staff are the nicest people ever. I usually order takeout and it takes about 15-20 minutes if it's not that busy. I've never had a bad experience with her but the food is totally disgusting. After the third and last time of giving the food a chance it is safe to say I won't be busting again. The turkey bacon tasted very raw and undercooked, the French toast was the only good part of my meal. The eggs were supposed to be scrambled and came out this blob of yellow. I forced myself to eat and about 3 minutes in I just put it away and decided to trash it when I got home. Placed a pickup order over the phone at 11:01 and was told it would take 20-30 minutes. We showed up in 30 minutes and she said the food would be ready in 5 minutes. After another 25 minutes it was still not ready. Went to the counter again to pay and she said it would be right out. I was ready to just cancel and go somewhere else when we finally saw them wrapping it up. We didn't get our food until 11:58. An hour for a Caesar wrap and gyro is ridiculous. read more

I used to go here once in a while for one of their tasty overstuffed sandwiches - I say once in a while because the food took a while to come out and whatever they cooked their meats in would create an assault on my digestive system - but the reason I will never go back is because of one incident: I walked in asking if they sold sliced deli meats by the pound; after they said yes I asked for half a pound of pastrami to go. I waited by the counter for about 10 minutes wondering what the hell was taking so long when they came out with a folding tray filled with cooked pastrami. I asked who that was for since I was the only one standing at the counter and they told me it was what I ordered. Already pissed off from the wait I asked, 'why would I want half a pound of cooked pastrami? I didn't ask you to cook it - can i have a half pound of uncooked pastrami? This is a deli isnt it?' Their response? 'well I already cooked it.' needless to say, this mistake plus their attitude about it caused me not only to walk out but to tell everyone I knew in the area about how the customer is apparently always wrong here. It's a shame because they not only lost $10 on the pastrami which I hope they tossed but any future business from me and my friends. That being said, the sandwiches were pretty good if you don't mind waiting a long time and being treated like crap. read more

Food is ok portions are huge. Customer service sucks. I don't know who the young guy behind the counter is but he is a rude little bastard. He acts like you're bothering him while placing a to go order. And oh my don't even get me started on if you need forks knives napkins and condiments. If you ask for a fork this kid rolls his eyes and throws a fork in the bag. You have to then ask can I have a napkin ketchup etc. if someone gets a burger and fries it's really standard practice to put forks napkins and ketchup in the bag. I figured maybe the kid was having a bad day but when I went back a second time he was just as rude. Won't be going there anymore. Hey Nora's deli wake up and realize there are a million places to eat in that area. It's really not so hard to smile and treat paying customers with a little respect. Very rude and nasty people. Been going to noras deli for years,very disappointed the other night.Wanted my burger med.well and it was more on the bloody side. This place sucks , I went into this place this morning and made a order. The lady was very rude and disrespectful. I ordered one sandwich and the lady gave me two , When I explained to her that I ordered just one sandwich she became very angry and asked that I leave the store. This has never happened to me and I was very confused as to why she was being so rude. When I asked to see her manager he told me I could leave and I wasnt welcomed in the store again. the owner is beyond rude!!! if i could give a negative number i would. my colleague and i ordered $20 worth of food and gave the driver a $5 tip. nora called our work place and complained to our other coworkers about the amount of tip we gave. no only did we tip over the standard 15-18% but she called back as if we were bad tippers. shes done it before and this was the last time shes highly unprofessional never will i order her over priced bland food. read more
