However, last minute, I was advised that my appointment was canceled because the selected nail and lash technicians were unavailable. So, I rescheduled. I rebooked my appointment for that Saturday over the phone, specifically requesting that the owner do my nails. I scheduled services for nails, lashes, toes, etc., and planned to spend a significant amount of money. I booked in advance. Upon arrival, I was informed that the owner would not be doing my nails as she was having "surgery"- hence another technician would be doing them. I was very disappointed. After checking the schedule through the booking app, I discovered that the owner does NOT even work on Saturdays. The information I was given over the phone was inaccurate, and I was misled. Within four days, nearly all of my nails had come off. I kindly reached out for a resolution, but I never received a response. I'm sure I will receive a response below a mediocre explanation yet the pictures say it all. FYI: I did not have multiple discounts. The owner had a promotion stating "Discount after 4th visit". Yet- I paid the price with poor care. Discounts don't compensate for nails popping off. Unbelievable. DO NOT receive service here.

The same day, one nail completely popped off. I went back and they fixed that nail, which I already felt wasn't normal. The next day, another nail came off. I called and was told I could come in to "fix it," but at that point I was already questioning the quality of the work. Then, within the next couple of days, three more nails came off. In total, five nails detached within days of service. This is clearly not normal wear -- it's an application/prep issue. What's most disappointing is that the only solution offered was repeatedly "come back and we'll fix it," with no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, no refund, and no offer to redo the full set, despite the obvious failure. Between the time wasted, the cost, and the frustration, this was a very poor experience. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend this salon for Gel-X services.

The service is consistently top-notch, and the owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the receptionist told me to "take it down a notch" -- her exact words. I explained that I was only being specific because good customer service and quality work are important to me as a paying client. Rather than resolving the issue respectfully, she responded by saying, "I will not be booking your appointment, you can go to a different salon." This experience showed not only poor customer service, but also poor business management. Even if a customer sounds frustrated, there is still a professional way to communicate. I've been coming here every three weeks and consistently tip $15-$20, so it's disappointing to be treated this way over a simple request. I had hard Gel on my nails from my old place. Not chips or cracks! I was asking for my nails to be cut all the way down and hard gel again. Ben was the tech, he used a dremel to grind off what was on my nails and to cut down the length. I first had to keep telling him to go shorter and shorter. He then used the nail file and it still wasn't getting them short enough and they were extremely crooked. I had to point out about 8 of the 10 nails one by one that need to be leveled out. He then did his thing painting them. I got no lotion, no cuticle cutting, no hand message. Just the Dremel, file, paint, light and oil. About 3 hrs later 1 nail chipped. I went back and Rose tried to corrected it. She removed everything off the nail again. Placed some type of liquid hardener, cure it, but did not smooth it out so after it was painted it looked rippled. By that night a 2nd nail cracked, by morning a 3rd nail chipped. I wasn't doing any house work or anything to cause it. By day day 3, I have 3 chipped and 1 cracked nail and that's not mentioning the one they corrected. $50 for Hard Gel and 2 Visit, tipping both visits. Gone! Update: 7 days later my nails are so messed up. I really wanted to possibly go back and give them one more chance but absolutely not!
