I decided to do my nails there after my friend offered me to check out this place.well....I'm not happy with the result because when I came first day to check out the price they said that refill nails would cost me 25-30$maximum well I payed 40$ and they did a creepy French that totally different that I used to do in Europe. Really hard to communicate with nail ladies because they hardly speak English. Great service by any technician when I go it. They're always excited to see which color I pick and give great recommendations.

This salon needs customer service improvement. I always call to make appointment before I go to the salon, however, every time I go they make me wait 40-50 minutes. Last time my appointment was at 12:30 PM, however, I waited 45 minutes more. The girl who makes the appointments does not care about how long will people wait, what matters to her is to have more clients. Its very frustrating, and I will not recommend anyone to go to the salon. read more

I still love this place for pedicures, my pedicures from here last FOREVER. If it weren't for the pedicures I would only give this place a 2 or a 3 star. I still do not believe in the french tip manicure, terrible experience as previously noted. The other day I decided to try out the gel nailpolish manicure for the first time. That time the gel stayed on my nails and didn't chip but did start to peel towards two weeks of time. I went for a second gel manicure to change colors when my nails grew out. I went on a busy night and I got a disheveled looking lady who I had never seen before at the place. I think she painted too much too thick on the nail, within the next week the gels were peeling off. I then went somewhere else and got what I thought was a really cheapo gel manicure, and that one has lasted forever. So I still give the place four stars because I LOVE THE PEDICURES but otherwise, I still don't think their manicures are worth the time and money. Another annoying thing is the Armenian chicks who sit there and stare straight at you while getting their nails done and they don't smile and they look like they are judging you.They all have the "perfect" extensions in their hair and the "perfect" makeup and they are all dressed up just to go to the nail salon. I smile at them and they just stare blankly back or just frown the whole time as if they are in a bad mood. So annoying. But If you can deal with that, then go for the pedicures! read more

I loved the quick work Tina made of my embarassing toes. Cuticle eradication, callous filing, salt scrub on feet and shins, lotion then hot towel. I chose a saucy and tropical orange because it's summer. OPI polish. Drying station in the back where I clumsily ruined my big toe. Tina came to the rescue and did a polish redux with a smile. I discovered this nail salon when I was in dire need of a mani/pedi and stuck in Glendale and I immediately fell in love. From the minute I walked in I was shocked at the nail color selection, from essie to OPI and much much more. I get a regular mani/pedi but they also have a huge gel color selection. The front desk employee, Vicky is always helpful when it comes to deciding a color for me (I am very indecisive). They are really clean and their tools sanitized. I was so happy with this salon that I switched from my salon of 5 + years to Nailpolish and I've been coming for over 6 months (every week) now and I haven't had a single bad experience. I has a very good experience, I was a walk in and they took me right in. My lady was Eva and she was really nice. She cut my nails short just like I like them. Prices are really good, specially for a area like Glendale. The environment it's peaceful and relaxing. I wish i could give them negative stars! The place is all blinged out but the quality of their service is awful! My best friend convinced me to try this place for my 10-year anniversary. She told them three times that it was very important to do a nice job on my nails since it was my 10-year anniversary that night but to no avail. Let me start by saying I usually have very thick, healthy nails. And I have gotten gel manicures many times in past so I was absolutely shocked when I saw them file the top of my nails with the drill!!! In addition, I kept telling her she was filing too much. My nails were getting so thin, it was burning from the heat of the drill!!! On top of it all, she did a HORRIBLE job with my nails. They were ugly, crooked, and had bubbles all over! It's now been a couple weeks and it was time to take off the gels, my nails are so thin they keep breaking into nail bed and in some places there really isn't much nail at all!!! Did these people not go to school? Thank god I didn't get an infection or something! Unbelievable!!! Save yourself from this horror and find another place to get your nails done! read more

Was looking for a new salon in Glendale (there are literally hundreds to choose from) and decided I wanted to get in for a quick Mani-Pedi. Their Website and front door says they open at 9am. I arrived around 9:15 thinking I'd be able to get in and out before work... they were closed. I waited until 9:30, even called their phone number.. but still nothing, they were closed. I ended up going to City Nails .03 miles away from there and had a great experience!
