I returned two dresses I bought online today. My daughter used to work for this store, same location brea mall. She told me I didn't need to provide anything. The woman asked me for the order number. I told her I didn't have she said it will take longer to process keep in mind both dresses still had tags and returned in the same packages they were delivered. While she's looking up I found one yes, matched. The other bought on a different day I searched found. She questioned, different brand name, she looked puzzled then said, I believe you. To me meant, I'm questioning. Never ever have I had Nordstrom, number one in customer service treat me like this. I felt like she insinuated I was trying to get away with something. I will think twice before ordering on the website that for years I felt so comfortable on. Her demeanor, and hesitation made me so uncomfortable. Thanks but no thanks Nordstroms. Had an appointment at the wedding suite on the second floor. Although I didn't find a dress - Monique and Tina were absolute stars. They tried their very best to find something for me (given the constraints I had) and even had recommendations on what my other options were. Out of all the bridal boutiques/stores I've been to, these guys have thus far been the best. Highly recommended. They make you feel very welcome and at ease. I never ever shop at an Nordstrom. But I decided to give them a shot. Nordstrom is actually one of the most expensive department store in the Brea Mall, but they do have very good selection on designer goods. I didn't actually plan on buying anything up until I was browsing in the men shoes section. And as I was at the sandals section, I found myself the Ugg Bennison II Cork. Also checked out other brands, however I was pretty sure Uggs brand would be a winner, I had to double check it with an shoes salesperson. I was able to get help pretty quick. And sure enough, I was right. The salesperson was very knowledge. And I've decided to get my Uggs. It's actually my first purchase at Nordstrom and my third pair of Uggs ever which were $60 plus tax. Customer service was excellent. Every salesmen that I saw has asked me if I need anything particular. Now that's customer service right there. If you need any assistant in the shoes section, talk to Ryan. He's a cool guy. Overall, it is a expensive store. Very happy with the purchase. Although I only had a sale t-shirt in my hands, she engaged me in conversation, and was very genuine, sincere and kind. B/c of her sweetness, I asked if she could help me with purses, b/c the sales team in purses totally ignored me even though I circled around 3x - they never even looked up (yes I'll admit I was dressed like crap - workout clothes & crocs). Hey but this is the OC, multi-millionaires run around in t-shirts, ripped jeans and flip flops. Well $3,300 later (4-5 purchases in total), Liz not only won my heart but also my loyalty. She totally epitomizes the spirit of excellence of the Nordstrom way (Yes I actually read the BOOK)! She pays attention to your needs, treats you as a valued customer and guest by being super hospitable. It was a busy Saturday night, yet she was willing to walk around the whole store to help me find other much needed items. Some of my items had to ship from other Nordstrom locations. Her follow up efforts to update me on status were impeccable. It felt very Ritz Carlton to me! This location recently had a remodel, and it looks great! It actually looks more upscale than South Coast Plaza. When I order things online, this location seems to have what I want. There is a parking structure attached to the store for easy access, but if you come during the busier days (ie: weekend), it can be difficult. I ordered a pair of boots at 10:00 am, and by noon they were ready for pick up. Simple, easy, and excellent service. read more

We walked into Nordstroms needing an off the rack suit for my husband for an event within the week. We were greeted by a gentleman with a measuring tape in hand. We were in a fitting room and consulting with the tailor within minutes. Fantastic experience. My only suggestion is that when we picked up the suit after alterations (done exactly on time!), the suit was in "dry cleaner plastic". For over $1000, I would have expected a garment bag. read more

It's been difficult to purchase certain things because non-essential businesses were closed. Some have re-opened for curbside pickup or shipping only. I was in need of some skincare products that couldn't wait for shipping which takes at least a week or more. So I went on the Nordstrom app to search for stores near me that offer same day pickup. Luckily, my item was in stock and available for curbside pickup at the Brea location. I didn't even have to wait 24 hours. After check out, I received an email within ten minutes that my order was ready for pickup. The Nordstrom pickup process is very stream lined and organized. Once you arrived at the lot, there is an employee directs your vehicle to the correct area. For returns, you pull up to the curbside by the entrance. If picking up, park in the assigned space and call the phone number on the sign to notify them. The process is contactless which is safe and easy! All you need to do is open the trunk, they drop off your package and you're on your way. I love Nordstrom and they always have the most exceptional customer service. I 'v been shopping there for years, I remember they were of of the retailers that carried Juicy Couture , I fell in love with Juicy the moment I saw it, why didn't I get more of them, they were cheaper before the brand got so famous! and Ella Moss too, I got some nice pieces of Ella moss when this brand was cheaper, now, the price has gone up so much :P I can find my favorite luxury brands here , juicy couture, Ella moss, James Parse, C & C California, 7 for all mankind...etc. lots original California brands, yeah! I am a California girl! and they carry nice shoes, they have the bigger selection of shoes, I found some very unique shoes here, that I put in my crazy shoes collection :P I also like their Junior department too, the price is cheaper, very big selections, I like those sun glasses, they are very trendy styles! Yes Nordstrom is a luxury department store, but they have half year sale and anniversary sale every year, the best to shop things on sale is online, at Nordstrom. They have private shopping event for good customers, its invitation only, I 'v been to a few, they pass finger foods and champagne the entire evening, you get to shop some goodies before they officially hit the store, it is the best shopping experience ever! love love Nordstrom! read more

FINALLY SOME GREAT NEWS FOR MY BROWS! I am SO excited because I just received word that the Anstasia Brow Studio is offering services again starting THIS FRIDAY! (9/18/20) I can not wait to see Nichole! I did not let anyone else touch my brows during this Quarentine and I know it was worth the wait. I haven't been to the Mall during this time, given the recent pandemic and all, and am a little nervous in doing so; but Nichole assured me the studio implemented new sanitation & safety procedures and I trust her judgement on the matter. Nordstrom was the last place I thought I'd visit until I knew covid was on a steady decline, but this is definitely my exception! Can't wait to see you Nichole! Besides the Nordstrom at the south coast plaza, this is my second best location in Orange County. They have more designer items and things in stocks. And the staffs here are very helpful and friendly. Typical Nordstrom set up, very open, bright and divided by your favorite designers. read more

DO NOT SHOP!!!! THEIFS ARE TARGETING CUSTOMERS!!!!! BEWARE!!! I had my wallet stolen down the street at whole foods and the lady was actively using my card here at Nordstrom's they were of absolutely no help . The loss prevention lady just kept telling me her "policy" of not helping me . I kindly asked her if we could call her security or mall security to catch the thief's using my card they just stole along with 2,500 in cash that was my rent . I could care less about my cards I really needed help finding my wallet then with the cash of the help of police and mall security. She said she wouldn't help me couldn't look over footage without a police report there in my hand . I asked if it was possible to call mall security to see if they see anywhere and I can call the police at the same time so I can retrieve my wallet in a professional manner . She acted terrible she told me right away if she feels I was being disruptive she would call the police on me . How dare you treat me like that lady . I obviously came to the security for the reason of being professional and going about the situation in the best way possible . But instead you were rude treated me like I was the criminal. Nordstrom is where I buy almost all of my work clothes. They have an excellent selection of blouses and slacks. They also have an excellent selection of athletic gear for my second job. I would not have guessed that Nordstrom would become my favorite place to shop for sports bras and sneakers but I have found numerous athletic items here for less Man the same exact color size and brand items at Dick's sporting goods where I used to shop for my athletic clothes. Who would have guessed? lol Service at this location is hitter mess but over the past year it has definitely improved and is more customer focused instead of stocking focused which I appreciate. This location is also where I purchased the mattress for my bed and I could not be happier. It is so incredibly comfortable that I am now a lifetime customer and will be replacing my mattress with a new mattress from the same location when the time arrives! read more

Today unfortunately I was not doing any shopping. I came by to return a coupe of items that I had ordered .... Super simple. I did have in mind though to go the cafe, as I have had a craving for a good panini! I was just super happy how they took care of me because the weekend before I was at SCP Nordstom and unfortunately has the worst time there shopping with my daughter for a party we had coming and we ate at their restaurant and left so unhappy with our meal. Love Nordstroms. Went to buy Tom Ford perfume. Was unsure about a scent wanted to make sure I loved it. She gave me a sample in a makeup foundation plastic tube. The perfume leaked out the whole time I was in mall. So unprofessional. She was a lady dark hair mid age. Around noon on 12/13/2023. Came to Return the too large size of Burberry coat. On second floor women's coat department, I am on the right cashier's counter, the supervisor ( I know she is supervisor later on) helped one customer, then told me " if u don't mind to go other counter to get help ? I do mind, but I go to the other counter, one employee Lanar ( or similar name) bring me back to the counter I was , the supervisor aware I was told by her to go other counter, she try to hide, I wait 10 more mins to wait for help. The supervisor finally came back and no work name badge on her ( don't hide ur name, u are not qualified to be a supervisor, shamed shamed shamed on the lazy bone , not help me to kick me to the counter, other employee bring me back to her cashier counter. I was told only supervisor can take care the expensive items return. Obviously She intended to give me hard time. Kick me back and forward . Is this Nordstrom supervisor 's working style ? This " unique supervisor " pretend nothing wrong with her, no sorry . I want to know --- why I am at the right spot , u kick me to other counter,? someone bring me back & the supervisor hold me to wait long time ? Today I visited the mens department at Nordstrom Brea to exchange my belt my wife gifted me for my Bday! Gary was very patient and helpful helping me find the right size. Unfortunately the brand does not make any bigger lol but he was able to help add another hole to the belt to fit just right!! At the end of it all i was expecting a charge. She had proof of purchase and she bought them 3 weeks ago. My wife worked at Nordstrom for 15 years, she was so upset that someone would treat her that way. I am giving one star for the salesgirl in kids shoes that helped my daughter find shoes. She was kind and knowledgeable, Jennifer in kid shoes should probably transfer to south coast she is too good to be working at toxic brea Nordstrom. This is not so much a review as it is a check on the welfare of the women who work at this location in Brea. I recently made a purchase online for in-store pick up, and just to be clear, the service was phenomenal. However, I noticed a gentleman (tall, glasses, facial hair, tan complexion) who grabbed at the rear of one younger female workers, and it did not end there. I had to do a bit of shopping upstairs in the active section, and noticed this man upstairs speaking very closely to yet another younger female worker who seemed rather uncomfortable by the entire situation. Before I could intervene, she walked away from the situation, therefore I left it alone. This occurred around the beginning of December 2022. Recently, I had another online purchase for in-store pick up, and the same gentleman was having horrid conversations in the pick up department regarding highly sexual topics. Considering this was taking place while customers were in line to retrieve their orders, this was quite disturbing, and I was not the only customer in line who heard. FIVE STARS for this Nordstrom in Brea! My review is related to my visit on Sunday 07/16 during the Anniversary Sale where I was assisted by McKenzie in Mens Furnishings. Just to put this out there I read a few not so positive reviews which I was quite surprised to see. I have been shopping here for 15+ years and have always had GREAT service, NO complaints, I'm pretty easy going. So fast forward, I pick out four JW Nordstrom slacks and a matching number of shirts and a nice belt and a new navy suit and a few other things all at a very good price. I highly recommend coming to this sale which is every July where you get great quality at an even better price. At the Mens shoe department they were able to replace my worn soles on my Allen Edmonds dress shoes which I purchased last year for such a good price, the repair ended up being half the price of the shoe repair store inside the Mall located near the Day Spa. The shoe repair only took four days and my shoes look just as good as new. Keep up the great work Nordstrom Brea, I truly appreciate your employees providing me with consistently great service I receive on each and every visit to your store. read more

I received help finding colognes from Albert Uriarte. The experience was very refreshing, as many experiences shopping for cologne aren't; i usually leave feeling rushed out by the sales person. Albert seemed like he wouldnt mind if i stayed to mill over a couple more fragrances with him. He unleashed a arsenal of colognes he thought i would like based on my past purchases. This is an update for the Indochino suit at Nordstrom. We were so disappointed when my fiancé got her suit in the mail. The sizing and fit were so off, the ivory suit is completely see through (we understand ivory is risky but I didn't understand how cheap the material was, you could see her thighs and underwear!) We were very confused because the fitting appointment went so well. I'm not sure what happened but we literally need to find a new suit... waste of $500. Overall, fit & quality is really bad. Wouldn't recommend getting a custom made suit from Indochino. read more

I received a pair of rubber BP teva knock offs completely different shoe and two sizes Smaller than my size. I must say, Karen in the baby/infant department is AMAZING! She was so helpful and super knowledgeable when we went in last weekend to look at car seats and strollers for our baby in the way. She took the time to educate us and show us the features and even shared some insight on the anniversary sale. I was able to get a Nordy's card and got a 60$ note towards my future purchase! Then when it came time for the sale and purchasing the equipment, she kept in touch with me and was very communicative and informative. I called and talked with the operator and asked to be transferred to men's shoes which led to me being transferred 6 different times to different departments. I then asked the next person I got transferred to if this was men shoes and she said "no this isn't" and I explained to her that I've been transferred six times. She said that she would get a hold of a manager. I then got transferred to a manager that took down my name and said she'd give me a call back. So strange especially for Nordstrom and definitely not pleased with this interaction. Frustrating and didn't feel cared for. read more
