Coffee was really good. They had a lot of people working. The caramel macchiato was stirred but it still tasted good. The employees were pleasant.

My Nordstrom's E-cake: mini, wheatless, snicker-doodle bundt cake ($2.89): tasty & cute but hard!

1st to Review Nordbucks aka Nordstrom Ebar! This Nordstrom Ebar is located in the main doors/entryway before you enter the Nordstrom store that is part of the large, outdoor mall, The Oakbrook Center in Oak Brook, IL, a Western burb of Chicago. It's a small store front that's to your right if you're coming in from the outside & is to your left in front of the purses & shoe departments if you're already in Nordstrom. Ebar is Nordie's coffee/snack shop. It's essentially patterned after Starbucks in terms of coffee-like drinks, bakery good items & assorted packaged snacks. It's similar in terms of price point too.  The coffee here is good & hot. I have no complaints about the black, dark roast coffees I've bought from here. The selection of pastries & bakery items at Ebar isn't as big, appetizing or as fresh as Starbucks though. One time, I got the mini, wheatless, snicker-doodle bundt cake & it looked promising & cute but was super hard, not moist or soft at all=swing & a miss! On another occasion I got a slice of wheatless loaf. This was better, softer & pretty tasty. I would get this guy again if I was at this Ebar but not the bundt cake. My major gripe about this Ebar is that it's ver-E tinE, cramped & has next to no seating. There are only 2 small bistro tables aka there's never a place to sit & chillax! Also, there's generally a long line outside the door & the store is like the size of a broom closet (prob used to be at one time!). So don't go with the lofty idea of buying a coffee & settin' up shop at Nordies Ebar or takin' a load off for awhile & workin' on that pending novel cuz it ain't happenin'! On a positive note, when the line was super long a Nordie barista came & took customer's drink orders while we waited in line. I also like that they wrote my name on my coffee cup & yelled my name out like at Starbucks so nobody swooped up my coffee! (I will fight somebody if I don't get my MF coffee lol!) Considering how busy this Ebar is I think it would behoove Nordstrom to expand this Ebar to accommodate more customers, generate even more business & create a better customer experience. That's just my two business cents! Overall, Ebar is a convenient place to grab a drink to take with but not conducive for hangin' out. This Ebar will suffice if you're shoppin' in Nordies & ya start gettin' the caffeine shakes & ya don't wanna walk way over to the other end of the mall to Starbucks to get your caffeinated bev o'choice. Just be prepared to wait in a long, cramped line & fuget about gettin' comfy & solvin' any o'life's probs while you're there. But Ebar is A-Ok for grabbin' a hot, cup o'joe to go!

I had a margarita on happy hour menu and it was tasty. For my entree, I got the chicken enchiladas. They were presented very nicely and very flavorful. I requested our group to be placed in a corner since we were dining in with 2 kids and an infant who would be sitting in a stroller. She had said they were fully booked and a different party needed the table I was eyeing since they would be coming in with 3 strollers. I was there from 9am-11am on a Friday and it was not packed nor did a family use the table I wanted while I was there. No one came in with 3 strollers either. Aside from that, I was trying to be helpful so the stroller wouldn't get in the way of customers and wait staff. The host basically made it harder for them, not me. I started with the hazelnut oat mocha and this was delicious. This was the highlight of my time there. For food I tried the Shakshouka and it was not good. The pouched eggs were not cooked. From my pictures - it looks like the eggs were cracked in the dish and the chef called it a day. I didn't chance eating it, I ate the pita it came with and left very hungry. I'm giving Beatrix a generous 2 due to the space being beautiful and my latte being great. Unfortunately this is not a spot I'll be returning to.

The ambience is unmatched--cozy, welcoming, and full of charm. My husband and I used to live nearby, and some of our favorite memories are walking over on weekends with our pup, grabbing coffee, and sitting out front just enjoying the moment. I recently visited the Elmhurst Craft location for an event and had one of those experiences that just sticks with you. I was chatting with a barista about how much I love (and deeply miss!) the Equinox. She mentioned she was newer and hadn't tried it, but saw it in the recipe book and agreed it sounded amazing--which, for the record, it absolutely is (or was ). A little while later, she came running up to me asking if I was the one talking about the Equinox. When I said yes, she surprised me with an Equinox sticker she had dug up. Such a small, simple gesture--but it genuinely meant so much and made my entire night. To the Brewpoint leadership team: that moment alone earned my loyalty for life. Customer service like that is rare, and it deserves to be recognized. I didn't catch her name, but I was there Thursday, March 19 between 6-8 PM at the Craft location--she was running the sample table and sharing the carrot cake latte (which, by the way, was incredible). Please pass along a huge thank you and some well-deserved recognition--she truly made an impact. And one last thing... BRING BACK THE EQUINOX!! Pretty please

They still had the same coffee menu, seasonal drinks, and baked good offering; but, felt a lot more like a neighborhood destination. I ended up ordering coffee for my work team and all were impressed by the flavors! I got a Black Americano, Hot Borealis Latte, and the Whipped Carrot Cake Latte for myself. The Carrot Cake Latte may be a new all time favorite of mine! It wasn't too sweet but just leaned into the flavor profile enough. My coworker who had the Hot Borealis said it may have been her favorite latte she's tried. I also got the Herbed Goat Cheese Croissant which is familiar yet unique with the pop of savoriness. Overall, this was a great experience as a stop in when passing through the area. Brewpoint continues to have great flavors that leaves a lasting impression. Staff is friendly and pricing is fair.

Pretty sure it healed my soul right away. Taste wise, super smooth. Nice and hot. Had light cinnamon notes that show up after a sip. Not overly sweet either, which I liked. Creamy texture, almost like melted chocolate but lighter. They even did latte art on top and served it in this artisan cup. Looked way too nice for something I was about to destroy in five minutes. Probably the slowest I've had at a coffee shop. It took over an hour for my latte to be ready. The pastries then took an additional 20 minutes after that. They also got my friend's pastry order wrong so she had to wait even longer. Additionally it was extremely hot inside the cafe. Most people were complaining about how toasty it was. I did feel the AC kick in maybe 5 mins prior to leaving. I tried a seasonal drink - Ube latte. I didn't taste the Ube at all, + I didn't taste any type of the espresso. It just tasted like milk. For the pastries I tried the guava pastry and a cheese empanada. Both were bland and underwhelming. CFS is pricey - the quality, service, and atmosphere did not live up to how expensive it is.

The flavor was incredible, smooth and rich. I also tried the pistachio cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious perfectly balanced. Maybe a bit to much chocolate on topo. The presentation matched the taste, and it paired beautifully with the coffee. The café itself has a wonderful atmosphere thoughtfully decorated and very inviting. (Turn on your speaker for the vids to get a better sense of the environment.) This place is more like an institutional cafeteria in decor, activity, and high ambient noise with too many hard surfaces making for an unsettling experience. Don't come here thinking you're going to quietly ease into the day with a cup of coffee and croissant contemplating the meaning of your existence. The floor plan at this location more closely emulates its major French-inspired competitor (also corporate South Korean) and a much condensed bakery offering than the Naperville (Ogden Ave.) location. You pick your own goods from various cases and get your coffee at the counter. The counter service has a disjointed workflow and they can't seem to get to the point where you leave the counter with all of your order, having to wait for your coffee or some other item. They then yell out (yes, yell) your name over the background din. You have to go up and ask if they just said your name. It's actually sort of funny, and a bit annoying. I do have to say the food itself is actually pretty good but nothing near what you would actually experience in Paris, but still good, flavorful. The coffee holds up to scrutiny as well. Though Tous Les Jours seems to offer consistently good everyday food quality, this location, overall, due to the noise levels and semi-sterile environment, resulted in an unenjoyable experience--I would not be back to this location as there are too many better alternatives.
